- Review: Frivolous Fawn Roux Fanci-Full Temporary Haircolor - Liquid Formula Last week I tested out the Roux Fancy-Full Mousse in a shade of blonde and one in a red. This is a light brown in their liquid formula and you can see the difference in the application! These are great for covering gray hair or even transforming a blonde into a brunette for a night! Perfect for Halloween and cosplay.

Nice color but I must say . . . . why all that trouble. I've been using rinses off and on since the 60's. Get in the Shower girl, pour it over your head, comb it in -- then you also get to wash your hair first and your body after. Take in a plastic cup to fill and get any of the rinse that spatters off the shower walls. Takes less than 60 seconds to put on your hair and nothing goes on the floor, in the sink, etc.
AB....I have grey hair & I just started using the Roux again. I bought a small spray bottle at the hair supply along with the Roux; shake the Roux up & then pour some in the bottle & spray away! Put a towel around your face as you spray and then spray & comb until hair is covered: voila!
Holyyyyyy cow!! This is a friggin game changer 🤔🤩🤩😚👍thanks for posting this one girl!!
Thanks for sharing this test of frivolous fawn. I think it turned out beautifully--very natural looking.
Love the colour on you. I love the Roux rinses. Great for a quick change (and so are wigs!)
Love the color on you - soft and pretty!! Great tip for touch ups!
I remember when the Roux formulation was a bit thicker formula - so much easier to work with - way back when (I started graying early.) :)
The same with Just for Men for eyebrow tinting - they had a gel formula you could control. I tried it a couple years back and it was liquid and messy! Wish they would listen to us and stick with the thicker formulas. But still good products to have in your arsenal - hee!
Best wishes on your audition!
Great job, as always.
Excellent job Monique. Love the rinse. An oldie but a goodie. Good Job. Thanks for sharing. Good luck on your audition. HUGS! xoxo Sharon
wonderful color! If you start to sweat or when your hair gets a little wet, does the color start to run-off? I know it's not supposed to be rinsed off after drying but I've heard 2 people now say they rinse it off to the hair is not as sticky or does not stain clothes or anything the hair comes into contact with, have you tried that? I'm planning on getting my hair silverized, I have to know how I can maintain it.
I think your pixie is looking super cute!
hi...my hair is porus from bleaching but in good condition..will this REALLY rinse out in one shampoo or does it stain?
This is an older video I know, but this is gorgeous! But your gray was gorgeous in the beginning too!
Hello Monique!
I'm a new fan of yours. When I decided to "Go Home", as a dear friend calls letting one's hair go to it natural state, I Googled something like "how to go grey" and voila', you appeared. Thank you for you guide lines, experiments, tips, humor, joie de vivre, and common sense in your videos. I'm about 5 months into it, more pepper than salt, and getting alot of encouragement. You're a part of that push! Enjoy your weekend! Wynne B

It is TOTALLY fun! Everyday I check out my growth. Reminds me of watching a garden grow. Probably your awareness has increased to notice all the silver, white, grey there is out there. Don't you feel like you're part of an 'acceptance club'?
Thanks for the video...good luck with the audition. ..Have a great weekend.
Beautiful.
Fun!!!! Never knew what the fanci full color was...kind of neat it's just a daily color
+Monique Parent seriously! I only wash once a week so I think I'm gonna grab me some so I can go longer between dye jobs
Always fun, monique. 😀
Monique..do you know how many washes it takes to wash out of your hair? I love your silver but I can see it would be nice to change things up once in a while...😊
Hi lovely Monique ! Gosh Monique I'm so sick and tiered of dying for touch up every 2-3 weeks. Do you think this would help me , I never knew what it was until you did this video. I love the color you used, looks like a dirty blond. Look fantastic on you .
Another good video you are so funny. I've viewed lots of pics of you and I like the color of your hair now much better than red, brown or blond😃
wow! you really look young!
Share them....look forward to it..🌞
Wow! I'm so happy I watched your video!! I'm 50 and still in the idk/maybe faze. I actually have that stuff in my closet, although I cant remember WHY lol.... but now that I see that it actually made your hair the same color as mine is right now, I might just keep using it to cover the gray until it grows out!!! Hell, I might just use it on my roots until I get my hair done again lol
Thanks for that video!!!
Did this completey wash out within a few days?
Be nice to go completely gray. Easier too. The blonde looks nice on you. You look good in just about every hair color. Not easy to do. Saw your other kitty. So cute 🐱
Love u. So glad I found u
HI, Monique: You can get a full range of colors at Sally Beauty Supply and sallybeauty.com if you need more colors for different roles!
Add a little wondra flour to the color. Won't affect color will just thicken.
Good luck on your audition!
you are so beautful !
does it work with black hair?
I LOVE YOU!!!!....... I have dirty blonde hair and for the past year-- said meh-- gonna go grey--- I was ok with it until yesterday when my dear old dad ( 83) said .. hun... your body says you are 30-- maybe do something with the hair.... it says 52... ( sinkkkkkking feelingggg) so I began looking at henna --- then saw this-- and by the Starssss-- I had a bottle under the sink-- exact color... ( picked up at a garage sale years ago) --- I can live with the mouse brown... ( dunno-- is still drying--- oh thank you girl-- you are so brave!)-- I get sick with chemical coloring-- would really love an ash blond henna-- however cannot seem to find...-- rockin the Frivolous Fawn--- feeling like the Sexy Deer!--- cheers from finally thawed Canada!!!--- you inspire me chicki-poo!
Looking good on you... 💞🎵🌷🌺 🌸 😆 👏 👍 💫 🌟 💛
Totally hate that smell!!! Good end result though 👍🏼👍🏼
Thats 'a a nice color. I think it would look better on someone with a warmer complexion, especially someone with brown eyes.
I like this colour and your hair looked very glossy. I do remember in the 60's when I first started colouring my hair (I was about 14) the only two products I recall were Harmony and Colorglo as the Colorglo was the least expensive I always went for that and that was very messy and very runny in fact my mom refused to let me do it at home so I decamped to my grandmothers who would let me do anything lol. The colour I always used to have was mahogany. xoxo Vivienne
can barely to hear this
I used this stuff once and was gagging all day when I'd catch a whiff of my hair! I don't understand why this stuff has to smell like shit!
Really annoying.....Half the products which you show on your vids we cannot buy here in France or at home in UK......But thank you anyway...the colour looks lovey= Just me!!!!
