Testing the Dji Mic 2 together with the Dji Osmo Action 4, straight out of the package, First recording with the Dji Osmo Action 4 as well. Impressed by the audio and so nice to get rid of all the cables. I also tested the Dji Mic 2 together with my Smartphone ( S22Ultra Exynos) and I was impressed. This is truly as a first impression a nice product and I will be using and testing it as I travel to Thailand next week. And as always I appreciate the support very much, thank you 🙏

Nice, thinking about buying a DJI Mic 2 transmitter myself. Generally I like ambient sounds if I am somewhere like a forest, also if I am talking with people around me I want to be able to hear their voices on the recording too, do you find this to be the case? Enjoy Thailand, subscribed
Hi Karl, I do get the ambient sound pretty good around me and I was at the Big Buddha in Pattaya the other day and It picked up people talking quite far away and the ambient music they played, In the Action 4 rhere is also possible to play with some settings as well as a noise canceling if you do not want surrounding sound. I am very pleased with it. Sat on a motorbike the other day spoke with the driver in heavy traffic and I could hear on the audio what he said, and he had a full helmet on. Hi Chris, were you connecting to the Action 4 directly or via the receiver? There's a firmware update on the Action 4 that allows you to connect directly to the Action 4 but it seems like the audio is transmitted via bluetooth which would be lower quality. I haven't seen a video comparing the 2 options yet.
Hi, yes I bought the single mic and connected directly. I think it works well and I wanted minimalistic setup. I got the latest updates for mic and also now recently the osmo 4 got an new update making a video quality improvement up to 30fps.
Nice vid. I just bought mine, do I have to update the mic before pairing with my action 4? Or I can use it straight out of the box ?
Thank you, I did update mine before I used it, recommend you update it as the new firmware has improvements for better sound, connection ect. good luck with the new mic !
