Thank for this video Jordan, you talk at a nice pace without being fast. I have watched quite a few reviews of the Action 4 camera and they’re mostly American people and found they talk way too fast. I recently bought this camera for POV Surfing and have had the battery die without realising during my surfs as I was recording in 4k then the same thing happened in 2.4k. Someone recommended to me to record in 1080p to get more battery life in which I am yet to try. Hopefully this will help me get more footage of me surfing.

You're welcome! DJI added a higher bitrate option with a firmware update on the 5, so if you are deciding between the two, the 5 is a better option. Yes definitely check out the book. I think you will find it really helpful 👍 Enjoy whichever camera you end up with!
A very good tutorial. I just upgraded to action 4. I'll be using mine for kayak bass fishing. I'm also going to have an extra power source for all day recording. do I still need the main battery pack or can I run it off the external power source.? Also which setting would be used for all day recording . I also ordered the remote for the DJI 3 and 4.

However I think my best course of action would probably be to go with the DJI Osmo Action 4. I already have the DJI Mimo App that I use with the Mobile 6 gimbal for my phone and the DJI Wireless Mic system which I believe will work with the Action 4. I'm beginning to think DJI just want all my money! 😂

I recently transferred some footage to edit them from the camera dji action 4 to my PC , but when I play the video, it’s lagging and appears to be in slow motion. I’m not sure what the issue is-whether it’s a transfer problem, a compatibility issue with my PC, or something with the camera settings. Do you have any recommendations on how I could fix this? Is there an alternative method I should try for transferring files or playing the footage? I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions!

Hello, thank you for a great video, DJI osmo action 4 is my 1st camera and i love it. But i dont understand one thing, it struggles to connect to my phone via bluetooth, it requires connection via wifi. As we travel a lot and i need to be connected to our router via wifi otherwise i have no data, i cant connect to my camera. So its either camera and no data, or connected to router and cant connect to the camera. I dont understand why it cant connect only via bluetooth. Do you have any idea please?

Hi Jordan, great video. Super easy to understand my DJI action 4. Question, when I followed your instructions I found my Action 4 was getting really warm. Is that normal, as I read other reviews that these don’t heat up. It was a primary reason I bought it, or perhaps I confused getting warm with reduction in battery life. Could the warmth of the device be due to my video settings at 4K? Although I only recorded for 10 seconds, the warmth of the DJI Action4 concerned me. About that magnetic mount. Will it only come out if you press both lateral buttons or it may fall with impact? I’m truly worried I will love another action camera while kiteboarding..
Your plastic mount will break before the magnetic mount comes off. I've already tried it unintentionally 😂. Just make sure that both sides are locked and nothing will come off.

Yes, it is very frustrating for Android users since it's not on the Google Play Store. You have to download the DJI Mimo App from Dji's website. I hope that helps! Cheers!
As an Android user it was a nightmare. I was worried I couldn't register. Got a Xiaomi 8 from 2020. The apk file is huge 650mb you need at least android 8 or higher. But I think 11 is minimum. Make sure your phone permits downloading files that are not supported. You need more than 5gb storage left on your phone. Once installed the app will delete the apk file automatically.

Yes, it is very frustrating for Android users since it's not on the Google Play Store. You have to download the DJI Mimo App from Dji's website. I hope that helps! Cheers!
As an Android user it was a nightmare. I was worried I couldn't register. Got a Xiaomi 8 from 2020. The apk file is huge 650mb you need at least android 8 or higher. But I think 11 is minimum. Make sure your phone permits downloading files that are not supported. You need more than 5gb storage left on your phone. Once installed the app will delete the apk file automatically.
