    Thank you. This is very helpful. I love the Action 4. I use it on the family ranch mounted to a Kawasaki Mule 4010, which is very noisy. The Rhode Wireless Pro provides pro-quality 32-bit float audio. However, I needed a way to mount it securely to the camera. I will refer to this video in an upcoming RUclips production. Thanks Again.

    I now have the RODE WIRELESS PRO and it is much better then the Rode wireless 2

    • @freelyroaming
      @freelyroaming  Год назад

      There are certainly big improvements in the pro but in my opinion, 32-bit float is not necessary for almost everyone because only a very small percentage of people actually use the local recordings on the transmitters. Until cameras can record 32-bit float internally into the video file, syncing external audio is an extra step that most users of wireless microphones simply won't see any benefits from. You can still certain have audio clipping on the in-camera audio while using the Rode Wireless Pro. That is why they still have features like GainAssist as well as Safety Channel. Unless the user understands, using a Rode Wireless Pro can give people a false sense of safety only to find that they need to resort to the onboard recorded audio to save their clipped in-camera audio.
