    Thanks for the videos Max. Former single engine land pilot, 75 years old and stuck inside going nuts. I really appreciate the opportunity to get free and fly with you. There are many of us former pilots, who depend upon your videos to try to recapture some of the memories of our past.

      I’m a 71 yr. old in about the same boat Walter Williams. I bought a flight simulator to relieve my frustrations. And I agree, reliving the past thru these videos is a great 👍 pastime when your grounded and on lockdown

    I'm an 11,000 hr pilot and I have NEVER copied a clearance with the length and complexity of your clearance out of Burbank. Great job of handling the read back and sorting out the data.

      They could have looked up the BURP30B TEC Route, which is why the controller asked them if they knew it. Then she could have just given them that clearance instead of reading the whole thing. BURP30B

    Listening to the departure clearance and writing it down is excellent practice for those of us unaccustomed to complex re-routes like that. Great video.

      Bartman the better practice would’ve been to look up BURP30B. There are numerous TEC for Southern California. It makes it very easy to fly in the busiest airspace in the world. I’ve been flying in this area for over 30 years.

    We in lockdown finaly, day three New Zealand. If it was not for flying channels like this and bigjet.tv I would go into flight withdrawal quickly. Cheers Max and family. Mozeltov and stay safe all you good folk.

    That was absolutely fantastic! Loved both the departure and the approach down to minimums almost. Wouldn't mind watching the entire flight when it's just such a short one.

    Thanks Max ! Love your vids - great to see KMYF. Did my IFR with Cirrus there last year and finishing my commercial there now. The coastal weather always makes for some fun in and out of MYF and CRQ.

    Max, you are an aviation star in the making. Your videos take us all flying with you as if we are in the right seat. In this time of lockdown in Devon, UK, I can escape to the skies.... just love the warmth and enthusiam that you share with us.
    Your landings are always perfect, all that simulation training since you were 7 years old has definitely paid off.

    I’ve never seen a jet circle to land at 500ft AGL. That looked tricky planning that turn to base and turn to final. Nice flying.

    Max, please keep these videos coming! I left the Bay Area 7 years ago to take care of my elderly mom and now live in a small town in the Catskills. We use to fly out of California Airways in Hayward and even though it was a Cessna 172, it was amazing flying down the coast then flying to different air shows and being in line for takeoff and having an F18 behind us, and then flying to Tahoe and parking a Cessna next to MIchael Jordan's jet but then taking off over the trees! Thank you and if you don't mind this guy is going to live his dream through your videos!

    In the future you can reference the BURP/ SCTP / SANP routes in the Chart supplement TEC section. Also you can type BURP30B in ForeFlight between your departure and destination and it will fill in the routing

    Max... Flew with Greg today via RUclips. Had a good ride. Pretty casual compared to this SoCal ride. Wow, what a clearance... The views were great and the ride was super. I now know what the circle to land procedure is all about. I learned something!! When I clicked on this one , I was surprised it was going to be about 30 minutes for the short hop from Burbank to San Diego... Now I know why. Thank You from NorCal!! Weav

    Foreflight gives you this exact routing option. And what a waste, letting you copy all this and then giving you some vectors and sending you direct SLI. Great video, as always, I liked the colours on final into MYF.

    About that IFR clearance from Burbank to San Diego/Montgomery- you’d think this plane was flying from Burbank to Teterborro NJ! 😂. Anyway, really nice series of flight videos you have put together. Keep up the good work, stay safe, and happy landings. 🛫🛬

    I joined your channel a couple months ago after seeing a reference to you from Premier1Driver. I really like your content, very professional, well done, shows you care. I must say too that I've never seen a clearance so long as this one. I think they punished you with this one or they had some strange bet on the tower to see if you could handle it... but you did perfectly. Certainly a great training video! Congratulations.

    Flying Tech Routes in ZLA airspace can be a challenge. Especially the readbacks. Good job from Clearance to Parking. You were in my backyard at BUR. Wish I would known.
