One of the BEST cockpit flights I have ever seen...now please take this as a compliment but you guys don't look old enough to drive a car let alone a Citation Jet...fantastic stuff and I look forward to more flights with up the front!!! Well done!
I saw a pilot get out of a jet at KSAT wearing a tank top, old cut off shorts, flip flops, and long long hair in a ponytail looking more like a drug dealer or trucker. He picked up a package, hopped back in and rode off into the sunset.
@@crashnburn586 @Drew Allison Yea okay, sure you do !!! It's EASY to just lie, and say you have a PPL on a You Tube that also can't be verified !!! You have NO videos either ??? Again yea Okay, sure you do... smdh !!!!!! You Don't have to lie ESPECIALLY at your age !!!!!!!
That long taxi brought back memories of me falling asleep in the jumpseat after landing while taxiing all the way back to Hanger 5 in JFK 😂. Great Job with the landing.
Another neat ride into an airport I've controlled a number of times on Tower! 3D Pro... I recognized the taxiways and it was neat seeing your perspective. Thanks, Max!
Hi Max ! ( I know it's a year old Vid) Great flight! I enjoyed the scenery and they turbulence. I was a little disappointed, as I thought you were going to continue on to DR. Also I really liked seeing the entire, JFK airport; Very exciting. All the best Shaun of NYC
When I was in College I flew MEM-LGA-JFK on the Fedex 727 jumpseat....waited an hour at LGA, takeoff...DPK...JFK 10 min loved watching this video, reminded me of it, grew up under ROSLY intersection basically!
Love it! Well, that’s one way to avoid metro NYC highway traffic! I remember once taking off from HPN (as a passenger), and in a few seconds we were over the Tappan Zee. That would’ve taken 30 minutes on I287.
He would have heard, there’s one of those RICH peoples airplanes. Ask me how I know. I was a corporate pilot and flew in JFK several times over the years. I heard those magic words.
Thanks for sharing your vid, great to see what goes on and thank you for allowing us to join your experience. Question, would you consider upgrading your recording to 4K? It would give a lot more details for those that are interested. Keep up the great work !
27:50 Look at the millions of bucks lined up and waiting! (Not a criticism, just amazed.) I think it takes a lot of courage to give both air and ground that much trust. Once you are on the ground you eat anything on that runway... Great flight Max, thanks for sharing.
@@CitationMax FYI that was me that said hello yesterday on PE lol Your voice is too distinct. I did a short VFR flight with the Citation S550 N3206 out of VNY to CMA. Then the wife told me to get to bed and watch Game of Thrones with her lol
Jeez guys. It’s called dry humour!!! Because it was such as short distance they couldn’t get higher than a few thousand feet, he was just making a joke!!!!!
Awesome....Max you said I would love the JFK vid coming up....you are correct sir....very nice. Ty, great job on the edit again....well done...loved the final with the wing views split below. Great job guys!
People that fly need to understanding really what all it takes and the level of activity occurring at all times for completing just one cycle. I believe they would have a completely deeper understanding and respect for everyone involved to ensure they and many million others depart and arrive daily safely to their destination!!!
Max, I follow you on Instagram and I really enjoy your RUclips show. Being a diabetic I have never been able to vet my pilots liscense. Because of diabetic complications I've lost my left leg. I've been in love with flying since I was a little kid. So watching these videos is the next best thing. I don't know anyone who flies now, so I want to say thanks for taking the time to put up these great videos. I also get to learn alot. God bless you and keep you safe my new friend. These videos mean a lot to me!!!😎😍
Only thing wrong with this video is there isn't more of it! Keep up the awesome vids! How many more hours do you have to log with right seat for insurance before you're single pilot certified in the Max?
Yet another fantastic video, Max! I have landed at JFK, but consider myself very fortunate to have done so in helicopters, so I've never had to deal with their unbelievably complex taxiways.😅 Really well done!
Interesting that they retract the flaps immediately after take off, with the landing gear. Guessing it's to minimize drag as early as possible. Wonder if all small jets do the same thing.
"Cleared for takeoff" while on short final isn't necessarily what you'd expect to hear from tower haha
Ha yea I definitely didn’t expect to hear that either! The Kennedy controllers are incredible 10-10!
Can only imagine the workload those controllers have.
@Jayce Antonio its a scam lmao nice try
You gotta love it when the taxi takes almost as long as the flight!

Another great video!! Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. 😁
That for the flight, Captain. I enjoyed that 'sporty' landing.
Great video! look at that line! 27:35, thanks for sharing
Like a boss! Took a Cessna intro flight at HPN years ago and got hooked. Really enjoy your CRM and airmanship. 👍
As a retired corporate pilot I’ve had the pleasure of flying into JFK several times over the years. Always fun!
Great to see you back in the air Max! I will be moving up to BOS beginning of next month.

Nicely done on the landing Max that was indeed sporty.

Another incredible video. Your passion for flying really comes through. The cockpit panel view camera angle makes the Citation windows look huge!

What a big airport! Another great video!! Taxi seemed almost as long as the flight.
Intense!! But you did it Max!!!! Good to see JFK again...
Looooong Taxi, typical for JFK!
Great video Max. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks Jacob! Glad you liked the video!
Nice job, I assume you did not beat the rush hour though, approach control and the tower were busy
If only he landed at JFK while Kennedy Steve was in the tower.
Sadly, Kennedy Steve, real name Stephen Abraham, retired in 2017.
And hear some "top 1%" comments, huh? :-)

Show instrument panel please (interception ILS, etc.)
Great landing. JFK tarmac looks well used!
Great stuff Max! I would be interested to hear a busy approach like that without chatter just to hear the controllers do their thing.

Depending on the type of diabetes, you can now get a medical.
Nice landing, Where do you hangar your M2? Flying into JFK is always fun with the Parallel approaches for the 4's and 22's!
Did I see Like 13 aircraft lined up awaiting to depart??? ...wow busy place... also found ya from Shaun @CPL
I've had times, at peak, when there's 25+ lined up and you're waiting easily 45 minutes or more. JFK can be insane.
Good ride!
So I am now certified to fly and train ppl in this type now, cool.
Sure you are, sure you are.....

Another good one!
Flying is spot on. Well done Max. I’d be nervous as hell at that airport.
Well thank you! I definitely had to be on my A+ game for JFK!
I think of landing at JFK as a high stakes backroom card game, where everyone is a made man. Hey! Fuggeddaboudit!
Awesome video, didn't even know you flew citations!
He upgraded relatively recently.
Well done Max. Thanks for sharing this repositioning flight with us. Who was the copilot flying right seat with you?
Thank you! That’s a good friend of mine. He’s not typed in the M2 but flys a gulfstream and a citation excel.
Great job clarifying with ATC.
Love it Max and Brandon ! 104 miles around just to land at JFK.... Welcome back to New York ! :)
They didn't ask for direct.
Wow 😯have you been here in DR? I hope to meet you soon ! 😃 greetings from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
Question Max, I overheard Citation mention exterior lights turned on. I thought strobes and wingtip lights always stay on during flight?

Are there no wipers on the cessna citation? I haven't seen them in microsoft flight simulator.
Thanks to plug from @CorporatePilotLife and @Premier1Driver =P
Use up allot of fuel just taxing to destination! What is the speed limit on the ground and is it enforced?

Same here. I hope they can put up with my brand of humour.
Awesome! Shaun is a great guy.
thats what i call displaced threshold....its like 50% of the runway...never seen like it
We used to ask permission to "land long" in slow planes so that we'd not have to taxi as far.
Crazy long taxiing...
I think that JFK controller wanted too get rid of ya before ya even got there.🤔🤔😂😂.
