Yes, just like cars and anything else that is financed.
Sheds are typically on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their rental payments we pick them up.
My wish is not for anyone to get anything repossessed but rather for everyone to make great decisions and prosper.
I understand people fall on hard times and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly, if you can't pay you can always voluntarily return it.

When you do this for a living, especially in the situations that he ends up in, I'm pretty sure you learn how to do it quick and you learn quickly. 😄
The short trailers can be difficult to back down a driveway the longer they are the easier it is to back up 👍

Swing Sets are the Biggest Pain in the Butts to Deal with. Never even thought about them needing to be Repo’d. 🤔

The swing set or the kids that would play on it? Not to specific when you say can't afford it I am kind of thinking if you need to finance a swing set the first investment should be made in the vending machine located in the men's room of most gas stations

Man I wish I had your nifty trailer and gadgets when I moved my daughter's swing set a few years ago. All I had was a Shortbed Chevy, 17 foot flatbed trailer and young Marine... That young Marine might have been helpful, lol!

I have never heard of a swing set being repossessed
spending money they don't have. the American way.
As an armchair guy, I would have slid that heavy, long ladder part under the rails of that piece that you just pulled up on the truck. It works ok in my mind. :D
Looking at the number of toys in the driveway, it appears that the deadbeat could certainly have made the payments for the swing set.

Depending on the location, a swing set repo could get interesting real quick.
I didn't know people contracted for swing sets. I feel bad for the kids but judging by the growth, they weren't even using it anyway.

You need to teach me how you did that backing up. I suck!
Practice, practice and practice. Then when you're done with that, practice. It takes a long time to get this good. Believe it or not the longer trailers are usually the easiest backers too, with space limitations being the biggest problem. If it's a tall trailer, like an 18 wheeler enclosed trailer or a loaded trailer you do have blind spots. Worse trailer I backed was my 12' tilt bed (axle in center of bed) it would try to jackknife at any given chance.
Put your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel when you are backing up. That way the trailer turns in the same direction as you move your hand. Move your hand to the left and the back of the trailer moves left. Right when you move your hand right.
Yes as Marc said practice, I have roughly 6 years experience driving truck and trailer doing deliveries which includes backing in lots of driveways.
The last carnival I worked for many many years ago, I had a 24 foot straight truck and usually pulled a chair swing, the trailer was 8 foot by 8 foot and it was a royal pain in the butt to back up, it was 13 foot 7 inches tall not including the hand winch so it actually was 14 foot 9 inches tall going down the road, I can't tell you how many times I had to back out of a gas station and that trailer was a real Bear to back up, had to have your head on a swivel watching both mirrors, I'm glad I got out and away from that nonsense
I wish it was 90. Been at or over 100 for almost 2 months down here in Tx.

I don't know about that. The wood looks to be a couple years old and I see some splitting in places. I question if this thing was worth sending a guy out to recover.

@17:28 - It wasn't in drive. You put it in drive before you put the remote in the cubby. After that, you went back to the shifter and it was already in drive.

Why? the cost of getting it, it's old, they have already collected the money or the full value and interest and in many cases can not resale it due to damage or rot. ALL ABOUT THAT MONEY MAN.

@@ShedHappens I'm not blaming you, but the cost of you picking it up alone is the value or cost of building it. I have built them for clients and the material and labor is maybe 1200.00 and you can buy them all day for under 2 grand. So they sold it, got money down, got a few payments, and also had insurance for the damage a loss, you cannot resell them without bringing them up to safety codes so that costs money. so that swing now cost them over 2500 with a sell vaue of maybe 500.00. Math never lies.
