I saw the video was 8 minutes long, so joked with my husband about whether or not I could finish in 15. Even though my washer is a different model, the instructions worked fine, and I had the new part in place in less than 15. But getting the cabinet back on the base was another story. All in all, a great video and thankfully all is working well.
This repair took me 45 mins and cost $22. However, the boost to my self confidence and sense of empowerment I've received by fixing my washer myself is PRICELESS! Thank you very much!
I used your video to repair my washer. It was very easy to follow your directions and saved me the cost of calling a repairman. Thank you so much!
4 years later and this was still the most helpful video I found! I was able to fix my washer in minutes
Thank you! I fixed my washer in about 45 minutes. A lot of that time was spent cleaning all the dust that was caked inside with my shop vac. It cost me $44 for the part; I wish I could have bought one for $8 like the guy below. Thanks for putting it back together; that was helpful, too.
Thank You Kind Sir for saving me money. Your directions were spot on and good today as the day you made the video. Happy Wife, Happy Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Video. Thank you for making it. When I replaced my valve, I noticed corrosion on the 2 small connectors that attach to the valve. I cleaned them off prior to installing them on the new one.
Thanks for the safety disclaimer given at the beginning of the video, really appreciate the emphasis on safety. For Whirlpool inlet valve and Whirlpool washing machine spare parts, visit our site.

Fixed my washer with an $8 part on Amazon in 30 minutes!! Thank you so much!
Great video I couldn't figure out how to dismantle this thing until I watched this. It was easier to take a part than I thought it would be with those retainer clips.
wish I had watch this video before attempting the repair. it was helpful.
Thank you for the great instruction! Had my washer back in action within 20 minutes.
This video is a life saver!! It helped me so much...I and a girlfriend changed the inlet valve and the washer is working great!! Thank you thank you!!! :)
Thank you!! just got my washer going again.
Thanks for the video! I fixed our washer quick with your help!
This is a top load. What about the bottom load?
The video would have been more instructive if you would have had someone moving around with the camera to show close up shots of what you were doing, especially with the retaining clips and placing the cabinet back onto the base.

Bad camera work, need to move camera, show bottom when you replace sides. Show closeups.
It would be very helpful if you first told us why !!??? Ee should replace this.
Cold water isn’t running from the washer/only hot water is working (at least, that’s what our problem is)
U are so callm and collective telling us how to take the back off while we sit here looking at the front of the washer. What happened to letting us see so we can get it rite
