BattleUp Saber to me it looks like a alternative timeline reboot. I'm not gonna hate on the new line though. It looks worthy to give a chance and I think the alt modes take a good balance of fresh inspiration and trying to remain in the old "War For Cybertron" feel. Megatron's alt mode for "War For Cybertron:Siege" has an appeal to me (no one else has the same opinion so it's okay) with it looking fresh and mixed with the game Megatron.
@GeneralGarbage I think the fact it's called War for Cybertron may be a good sign. Anything in the franchise with More Than Meets the Eye in the title has been great whether it's the original G1 pilot, the Dreamwave profile books and James Roberts' excellent comic book series. War for Cybertron was a great game so I'm optimistic about the new War for Cybertron series. On the flipside, Transformers Robots in Disguise was a mostly terrible anime dub and the IDW Robots in Disguise comic book series was mostly poor.
@@clumsycombo2346 I like SIEGE Megatron's alt mode, too. But the robot mode is just boring to me. So I might get him when his price dropped but still unlikely. I prefer my WfC Takara Darkside Megatron.
I agree...originally robots in disguise was called car robots (and transformers 2000 in japan) but they changed it from car robots to robots in disguise because not every character in the line transformed into a car.
Well that's odd. Somehow as I was watching this, a new tab somehow opened on by browser, jumped onto eBay and did a search for War for Cybertron Optimus figures. No idea how that happened, but it seems to happen a lot when I'm watching your videos.
