One of the best videos I've seen. Great tips on putting the wheels under the vehicle for safety, using a cord to hold the caliper so it does not hang from the hose. Thank you for the video.

Great tutorial, guys - well thought out, and the step by step instructions are just what I need. I've done pads before but never calipers. I think I'm ready to go! Thanks!

    2) The screws do not need to be re-installed. the purpose of the screws initially was during the assembly process. the car is manufactured on its side. installing the rotor screws insures that it does not fall off during assembly.
    3) you were also suppose to apply sly-glide to the slide pins before re-installing the slide pin bolts

There were a couple of things that were done incorrectly:
    1) grease should not be applied to the back of the shim because it attracts dust and foreign material to the brake pads. The grease is suppose to be applied between the shim and the pad itself, being sure to use a light coat only.

Great video, thank you sharing. Is red loctite necessary? I normally use blue (medium strength).

Great video! I have done A LOT of Brakes and rotors and have never needed to open the bleeding screw and bleed the system.. It will work without doing the whole bleeding process correct???

Do you need alignment after changing the rotors and pads?

Why would you use red lock tight instead of blue lock tight?

You really Don't need to do the Bleeding process?? Just extra work and you would need to bleed the whole system front and back if you are replacing the master cylinder or the calipers! Or anytime you get air in the hoses and Brake lines.. 👍
