Single Stroke Fours - Rob Trevisani

In this video, Bosse Online drum instructor Rob Trevisani demonstrates the Single Stroke Four (also known as the Four Stroke Rough). This rudiment combines two groups of single strokes, creating a rhythmic pattern of 16th note triplets followed by an 8th note. It's an excellent exercise for building control and adding variety to your rudiments, offering unique and engaging patterns. Rob also explores how accenting different beats can bring more musicality and interest to the rudiment, while providing variations on the sticking technique to enhance versatility and creativity.
