I have a question 😢 u think I could just install it if I’m renting I’m scared to ask my landlord 😂 and I rather take classes on RUclips with the pole than go to classes physically also how do I know if the roof is strong enough ?
When I was renting my apartment I set this pole up in my living room. It was kind of an old building but the structure held no problem. If you have popcorn ceilings, it will be a little pressed when you remove it...same if you have carpet.
So I put my pole up a while ago, and now I’m moving it to a new spot. I got it down, but now the new spot doesn’t need the extension on it. I canNOT get the extension piece off. I don’t know if I’m missing something simple, or if it’s on their so damn tight I just don’t know. Any suggestions
Honestly I had this problem as well with a different pole. It took two people twisting in opposite directions to release it. You can also put the pole back together and untwist that part that stuck first because you’re gonna need that extra slot to give you momentum to twist. Then when you’re done, I would take some WD-40 in a wire brush and clean your thread, so it doesn’t happen again.
This video was helpful for me! Thank you! My question is how do you check if the ceiling is safe for the pole? The reason I’m asking is because I’m trying to set up my pole inside and I’m not sure if the ceiling is safe or not. My ceiling isn’t a popcorn ceiling but just a standard one.
I don’t really how to answer that question. For me I just set up and tried it out. I put just enough tension to hold it tight not damage the wall. You can also your your judgement on the integrity of your houses foundation and structure.
Get a stud finder from a home improvement store that will let you know if that’s the idea area to install it. Once you purchase just watch a RUclips video how to use it. Very simple.
Sometimes the poles get stuck together but of grim in the threads. If you've experienced that, when you do take them apart I would clean the pole threads with wire brush and wd-40. you can get both from your local auto parts store for like $5.
