      Just found ur page boo ❤ Get that bag gurl🤩🤑 I have this pole too😉 and for it not being “name brand” holy shit I was impressed AF - been dancing 10+ years in clubs and this is the closest to club quality equipment I have ever found especially for the price point I paid😅😉

      I will say the only issue I’m having so far is that if it’s in static mode the pole will keep getting tighter (taller) when spinning on it. of course if I put it in spin mode I don’t have that issue or worry about that because it can’t tighten at that point but yeah😅 I’ve been trying to find a video of someone talking about that part so I’m gonna keep watching but if that part isn’t in there Any advice is welcomed☺️TYSMIA

    First of all fabulous video great tutorial and explanation on how to get this pull up safely the only other thing I would add, and I’m just throwing this out here but personally, I highly recommend trying to mount your pole on a ceiling joist or stud for extra security and support. In my experience this will also prevent you from poking a hole through your ceiling if you’re worried about tightening too tight or your pole being too loose - trust me on this one you will never worry if it’s too loose ever again😂

      When I was renting my apartment I set this pole up in my living room. It was kind of an old building but the structure held no problem. If you have popcorn ceilings, it will be a little pressed when you remove it...same if you have carpet.

    So I put my pole up a while ago, and now I’m moving it to a new spot. I got it down, but now the new spot doesn’t need the extension on it. I canNOT get the extension piece off. I don’t know if I’m missing something simple, or if it’s on their so damn tight I just don’t know. Any suggestions

    • @undecidedwithdom5786
      @undecidedwithdom5786  2 года назад

      Honestly I had this problem as well with a different pole. It took two people twisting in opposite directions to release it. You can also put the pole back together and untwist that part that stuck first because you’re gonna need that extra slot to give you momentum to twist. Then when you’re done, I would take some WD-40 in a wire brush and clean your thread, so it doesn’t happen again.

  • @marsandfruit6135
    @marsandfruit6135 3 года назад +8

    This video was helpful for me! Thank you! My question is how do you check if the ceiling is safe for the pole? The reason I’m asking is because I’m trying to set up my pole inside and I’m not sure if the ceiling is safe or not. My ceiling isn’t a popcorn ceiling but just a standard one.

    • @undecidedwithdom5786
      @undecidedwithdom5786  3 года назад +2

      I don’t really how to answer that question. For me I just set up and tried it out. I put just enough tension to hold it tight not damage the wall. You can also your your judgement on the integrity of your houses foundation and structure.

    • @undecidedwithdom5786
      @undecidedwithdom5786  Год назад

      If it keeps twisting up that mean your washer that hold it in place is not tight enough. Hopefully your washer that holds tension is not stripped, or the screws that keep it in static mode aren’t stripped either
      When cleaning with wd-40 I meant the thread of the main poles. Pole and pole b. It actually make it more secure because you cleaning out all the loose metal shaving and debris which adds better grip.

      If you feel like your ceiling is making noise it’s probably not 100% level and centered. Which is definitely not safe. If you’ve done all your alignments. (Like you referenced a straight edge in your house like a corner or the blinds in your living room) then it’s probably just not tight enough. Hope this helps

      The pole was great. held up nicely, no damages to pole it self nor the carpet or ceiling. But since making this video I have since switched to a new pole. I wanted the dome style instead. I'll upload a video on the pole as well soon.

      Oh yea, you should be fine. Then popcorn ceiling will be a little pressed, due to the pressure, but it won’t be damaged.
      Once it’s installed try tugging on it will your arms forceful to make sure it holds before you start throwing body weight on.

      @@brendalakins7760 Honestly when I was pregnant I completely stopped pole dancing. I just didn't want to risk anything.
      I would say to be on the safe side, no you shouldn't pole dance, but it completely up to you. How comfortable you are, your experience level, and how far along you are. You don't want to accidentally slip or anything and injure yourself or your baby.
