So did you have to use a stud finder at all? Will it hurt if you don’t?
First of all fabulous video great tutorial and explanation on how to get this pull up safely the only other thing I would add, and I’m just throwing this out here but personally, I highly recommend trying to mount your pole on a ceiling joist or stud for extra security and support. In my experience this will also prevent you from poking a hole through your ceiling if you’re worried about tightening too tight or your pole being too loose - trust me on this one you will never worry if it’s too loose ever again😂

You know what I didn’t even think about this when i made this video. 🤣 but it’s definitely holds. I’ve had a baby since making this video and it’s still holds. If your base was moving you probably didn’t apply enough surface tension. Or your pole threads were dirty.

Honestly, the mattress was too soft at times and at the time I was pregnant so I would sink into the bed. Very comfortable… almost too comfortable. But the frame itself was great. MASSIVE, but great. Very useful for storage too. Definitely recommend

Thanks! This really helped! I'm thinking of turning my house into a strip club whenever I have parties. This would be the perfect thing to include, because what's a strip club without a pole? I can get the strippers I don't have to worry about that. This is one of the most important things to do properly in my opinion because it can cause serious injury to the user if the pole is not properly installed.

No I did not use a beam finder. I just put it up where I thought it was safe.
Welp i took mine down and cant get it back up it..😢it keeps twisting up even on static with the washer up 😢😢
Did you strip the screw that keep it in static mode? Have taken you pole down and cleaned the threads with WD-40 and a wire brush??
@@undecidedwithdom5786 had it since january and ive only taken it down once. I didnt put wd-40 on threads i would think that would make it less secure. Reached out to seller last week waiting to hear from them
If it keeps twisting up that mean your washer that hold it in place is not tight enough. Hopefully your washer that holds tension is not stripped, or the screws that keep it in static mode aren’t stripped either When cleaning with wd-40 I meant the thread of the main poles. Pole and pole b. It actually make it more secure because you cleaning out all the loose metal shaving and debris which adds better grip.
