    You tank the first time.
By the second class, you're like, "This is so much fun, and so hard, but I'm getting it!"
By the 5th, you lose most of your clothing.
Every new move or any progress is such a huge accomplishment.
1 year in, and I'm still in LOVE with it!
I'm not afraid to try the provocative moves anymore 😉😉
Added bonus.... I've gained so much damned confidence!! I've never encountered another more supportive and body positive environment than pole class with women of all types ❤❤❤❤

Hi, just jumping in the middle of the subject I've always been skinny and pole really helps tone and settle your muscles, I can actually feel how strong I am, it's really cool to be surprised by your own strenght when you didn't knew you had it. There's this poledance teacher who had a baby not long ago and she posts about her recovery on instagram camilacosta1990, her baby is one year and a half old I think... Bottom line here is: I think it's a perfectly good idea, I love pole and hope you will love it too. :)

Girl, if you haven't started yet, get going!
I started a little over 3 months ago.
I was a little bit overweight, I was weak with no strength, AND I'm about to turn 50.
I have tried nearly every gym in my area and so many types of workouts. I never lasted at any for more than a month.
I felt so intimidated, but I went. Everyone is encouraging and supportive. There are men and women of all sizes, all backgrounds, all different athletic abilities.
Even when I'm next to an athletically built 20 year old in class I don't feel out of place!
I have never loved any activity as much as I do this.

I love you face when she told you about the skin.
For future reference for anyone: Epsom salt baths help with bruising, and soreness.
    Happy pole days!!!!

I’m so obsessed with the coach!!! It’s so nice to see a confident curvy pole dancer. I began pole dancing a few months ago and many slim girls have looked down their nose at me. I wish I could dance with someone like her. 😍

In what universe are you pretending to be in?....This is NOT "curvy", Sofía Vergara is curvy, this is obese.

I hate how when people start pole dancing they're always saying, "It's not about being a stripper" in relief. Stop shaming strippers when you wouldn't know of pole fitness without them... And shouldn't learning this make you respect strippers more? It takes strength and it's a sport. Strippers are amazing, and most teach themselves which is even more impressive

It's Lit with Leshai I'm a stripper, and let me tell you, it drives me insane when I hear that. Imagine how much more difficult this is in front of total strangers, in lingerie or naked, on your period. In 8 in heels, to boot. I want none of that "strippers are slutty hoes that we shouldn't respect" bullshit.

Katie Lambert In this video she learned pole dance and there were "provocative" movements, but I guess it's OK because she didn't get paid for it 😂 Your comment is irrelevant to what I was even talking about. Bottom line, strippers are strong and athletic on the pole and deserve more credit for that. I don't care what else some strippers might do that's extra. Key word is some... So why generalize and say, "it's not about being a stripper" with a sigh of relief?

The "oh, strippers" part was so cringe. Pretty sure pole fitness didn't materialize out of thin air. Put some respect on strippers, boo. Otherwise awesome video, Roz is amazing!

Pole dance originated in the circus. Then moved to clubs and that is when strip clubs were born. I’m a dancer and it’s shame how society judges us for being comfortable with ourselves to do the job.

It originated in India, centuries ago. Just like yoga. PD is so graceful and sensual, stop the shaming. :)
