Hi! So I understand, you don't need to put holes in the floor or wall with this type of pole? That is a nice selling point. I just wanted to make sure. And it's safe for daily use?
Also I use mine everyday. You can take it with you when you move as well. They are all adjustable within a foot and with X poles you can add extensions
Hi , I know it's been awhile since you put this post (pole lol ) info up. Do you find that if the pole is stable, beginners or unskilled polers usually pull to hard on thier own home pole rather than push down which can loosen the pole ? Your video is very helpful. I haven't been on pole since 2017 since studio closed near me. Love your demo at the end, your an angel on pole!
Hey, how much space do you recommend having around the pole when you choose the location? I'm trying to make sure I have a place to put it before I order, and I'm 5'10 so I'm a little paranoid about being a whirlwind of destruction by accident 😂
Hi Abby! I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you I need to turn on my notifications. Basically you should give yourself enough Room to allow yourself to be able to do an extended butterfly while spinning around the entire pole. If you don't have exactly that much room you will just know that when you are in an extended butterfly or iron x that you cannot fully extend your legs. Basically sort of walk around the place where you imagine the pole to eat and extend your leg out behind you and if you kick the wall you probably do not have enough room. I hope that helps!
My pole is different for some reason spinning on it loosens the pole and it moves it doesn’t happen after a day but it happens when I use it a lot it also makes a popping sound
When that happens I think the inner hardware of your ball bearings might be crooked. Try to take a look at the top piece and make sure everything is straight and not diagonal at all
platinumstages.com. xpoleus.com has X Poles which are similar are normally in more than 1 piece like this one. This one you can adjust within a foot longer
I don't suppose you could describe the nut that you screw at the bottom (since that part isn't shown in the video)? I have one of these exact poles (its 50mm, with the same sleeve that slides, covering the bottom) and I can't remove it. I think the nut is stuck and I don't have the right tool or hand strength to loosen it. It's been installed for a few years and it won't budge, but I also can't remember how it was installed at this point. Please help if you can.
By 'popcorn ceiling' it sounds like you mean a drop ceiling? If so, the only way you can do that is to take out a tile and use the actual ceiling. I would not trust the intersection of the metal support grid and if you place the pole in the middle of the tile itself, you might as well take it out and use the actual ceiling. I hope that helps.
Is your ceiling slanted? If so, you need to use a permanent pole with a special slanted mount, if not you may not be tightening it enough. What brand is yours?
@@flyingveda thanks for the quick response. I bought the chrome pro pole from polefitnessdancing.com the top is more bowl shaped than yours. I'm guessing its not tight enough because my ceiling isn't slanted. It's sturdy in a directions except one. When I pull or swing from that side it's loose. I was wondering if I need a mount or MDF board to keep it in place
@@sinamen516 no slanted ceiling would not work with a standard removable pole. Sounds like you have an x pole like I do in my more recent vids. It may be that your pole isn't nt tall enough. You can add boards on top like I did. Watch one of my recent vids and you'll see I did the same thing. I stacked 2 pieces pre cut from Home Depot
It depends on the type of pole you have but with this one you turn the lug nut the opposite way while holding the pole firmly. You might need a pipe wrench to get the lug nut loose if it is too tight and then you would also turn the pole the opposite way that you turned it to tighten it and you will know it is working when you see the pole become shorter. If you are removing an X-Pole you will need to use your hex key to loosen all of the contacts the for loosening the bottom screws and hold the pole firmly and twist the opposite way so that the pole become shorter then you will be able to take the whole thing down and take be removable pieces apart

heatherkcd no damage. Its removable. X-pole and lupitpole make removable poles as well

Very helpful thank you! I just moved into my own apartment and can finally put up the pole I bought in January! Can’t wait :)
How did the install go?
You're welcome!
Very well explained and easy installation....and with a little demo dance too. 👍🏻😎
Thanks!
I am thinking of buying one I am curious of you could install it on carpet also where would I get this pole
It's been a year! I hope you know how to pole dance now. Haha
I got this one from Platinum Stages but I have an X Pole now and I should upload a new video. Carpet is no problem!

How do you know your ceiling is strong enough?
Put it up and tug on it. Try simple things, if the ceiling cracks you should take it down. I've luckily never had that problem
They say you should look for a stud but I never do

Oh, where did you get this pole and tall is it? or what are the dimensions.
heatherkcd platinumstages.com removable dance pole. This one fits between 8-9 feet but you can custom order any size

use a pipe wrench. its just a very large nut that came with it. use wd40 if you need to but just a very small amount
the ceiling in my apartment are the type that can be pushed open, is there such thing as a pole that doesn't need to be connected onto a ceiling?
Yes, stage poles. X pole makes an x stage
i have a pole will it work on a textured ceiling?Thank you
Sure will!
Would you recommend buying one from amazon if so witch one ?
Heizy Diaz bored in quarantine? 😂
Azzie 701 yesss I’m losing my mind 😂😂
Not amazon, XPole! Sorry, my notifications are off
I have popcorn ceiling. Can I put it on that?

@@flyingveda Popcorn ceiling means textured ceiling.
I installed it but it's making "cracking" if I spin with it... If I don't and irs static there aren't those sounds... Does anyone know why?
I think I’ve heard another person say that this is normal? I could be wrong but always look up articles
@@Neliciae I wrote the support and they said it's normal... We will see 😊 Thank you
It's fine unless you see cracks

What's the max weight for user?
I'd say 500 lbs. Sorry, my notifications are off
How much weight is this made to hold?
Depends on the pole, I believe most are 500 lbs
Where did u purchase this from ?
platinumstages.com
Does the pole spin
Briana Brixx spin and static. Most poles do that. This one does.
How much was your pole
This one was about $400 from platinumstages.com. the removable poles are a lot more expensive than the ones that you bolt into the ceiling
Any pole fitness walmart or amazon
do you think this will damage an apartment ceiling?
No
