This is my first reaction to an individual American Footballer and it was fantastic to watch. Even to me, who is new to the sport, Patrick Mahomes is just incredible to watch. He has everything and more that a great quarterback should have. What is his best attribute? Do you think he can become the best Quarterback ever?
Absolutely love your videos. The next individual you should watch is Tyreek Hill he’s the fastest layer in the league and he was with mahomes for 4/5 years until this last year where he now plays for the dolphins. His plays are awesome
I attended Texas Tech at the same time as Mahomes... We could see his greatness before anyone else realized it! everyone was blown away by him every single week and we would still lose cause our defense sucked. Hes such a nice guy too. I would see him in the Sauna at the rec all the time and talk to him, or see him out at the bars and clubs just chillen like a normal guy. Literally love him so much... complete legend.
First time I saw Patrick Mahomes play was at the Tulsa Oktoberfest which happened to be at the same time as the Texas Tech-Oklahoma game. Not a defensive play was made by either team in that game, but Mahomes kept them in it against a team with 10x the amount of talent. Then my Kansas City Chiefs drafted him. I was sold after his first ever start.
That’s wassup man . That’s cool that you knew him from before but not tryina hate i would never agree with people saying things like “we could see his greatness before anyone else realized it” because as great as he was and the talent that he had it’s hard to foresee how that would translate into the pros. That’s why we often see many busts from college to nfl such as Zach Wilson (too early to call), Josh Rosen, sam Darnold, baker mayfield (he isn’t terrible but not playing like #1 pick) again I respect you giving him props but ain’t ever gonna agree with ppl saying they can see greatness 😂😂
KC Chiefs fan here. I loved this video man. It was so fun to see our boy Pat through the eyes of a British person. So happy you can appreciate his creativity and artistry. Well done dude. GO CHIEFS
This dude needs to check out MacLeathal as well. Another KC legend! Yo Mac, pretty sure dude's Scottish. Those UK guy's are pretty sensitive about where they're from. Ps. That was really awesome to watch as a Chiefs fan.
I gotta say, being a Chiefs fan and watching this guy is something every Chiefs fan should see!!! Its not clear how much he understands the game. But what is clear is how much he understood greatness! He knows that what he saw everybody can't do. And it appeared to be genuine! Go Chiefs!!!
So accurate. I couldn't stop smiling at his excitement and reactions and I just had to send it to a few other Chiefs fans because it's just so awesome to hear somebody appreciate his greatness with no "buts" attached. Chiefs Kingdom!! ❤️💛
I think he was lacking at reading defenses in the beginning, but I think they have helped him get better. iin my book, he is like the best ever & likely MVP this year. when hill said tua was better, thats hill trying to say hill made mahommes better & thats BS. they didnt give hill a big contract. they gave the better player a contract of $450M for 19 years.
@@mertsalih I'd recommend 2 throws from the game against the Buccaneers in week 4 of this season too: the 3rd & 1 pass to Juju (with around 8:15 left in the first quarter) and the touchdown to Clyde Edwards Helaire (with about 11:40 left in the second quarter). Those ones and the one to McKinnon this week are his 3 most insane throws from this year.
@@mertsalih He threw an underhanded no look pass that ended up being a 56 yard touchdown pass against Denver. Also threw another touchdown pass while he was being hit by four different Denver defensive players.
I have lived in Kansas City, about 10 minutes from Arrowhead Stadium, since 1999. I was actually born here but moved to Detroit in 1981. All the greatness you see on the field from Patrick is only multiplied off the field. He is a total class act and has done so many wonderful things for this city already. The same goes for Travis Kelce as well. The two of them are like royalty here now. They own this town and we love them for it!!! It's good to be a Kansas City Chiefs (NFL) and a Michigan Wolverines (College) fan right now. LOL!! Patrick is a part owner of the Kansas City Royals (MLB) team and his wife owns our professional women's soccer team, The K.C. Current as well. They are currently building a new soccer stadium that once complete, will be the first time a women's soccer team will have its own stadium. So needless to say, the Mahomes family is well-invested in Kansas City. Glad you are enjoying our American football. My son and I get a kick out of your commentary with your Scottish accent. It adds just the right flare to the video you're watching. Cheers from Kansas City, brother!! And welcome to the Red Kingdom!!! GO CHIEFS!!!
I don't think there's ever been a quarterback as skilled as him, in as many aspects of the position as he is skilled in. You saw his accuracy and power, which is as good as anyone. You saw the more "signature" throws with those crazy angles and perfectly timed body mechanics - the way he rotates his hips and transfers weight is fascinating. You saw one running play from him, but he has made a lot of runs over his 5 years here that have saved the team when there was no pass available. You saw how good he is at sensing and escaping from pressure. And on top of all of this, he can do ridiculous things like no-look passes, left handed passes, sidearm/underarm passes, and probably other totally improvised things that you can only do through pure instinct. It's like he was created in a lab to be a quarterback.
I'm a Kansas City Native and a long time chiefs fan, and watching you react to how amazing our quarterback is was genuinely lovely. I love watching people be astounded by his unbelievable talent! Also, Hill is our former wide receiver. He is amazing, but didn't resign with us this year, and instead plays with the Miami Dolphins. We miss him a lot. I do guarantee, however, that you could go through hours of Mahomes footage, and it's almost nothing but highlights, the man is a machine. Thank you for putting a christmas smile on my face with this video. Cheers mate!
As a woman who is Kansas City MO hometown born and raised I was tickled by your reaction to our amazing KC Chiefs hero Patrick Mahomes. We are so proud to have him as our quarterback. In KC being ride or die in supporting the Royals and Chiefs is basically mandatory but when you have such an awesome talent like Mahomes leading your team it's a honor to be a Chiefs fan.
One of the reasons Patrick Mahomes has such crazy arm talent, his father was a pro baseball player, and he grew up playing baseball as well. So he can throw a football from just about any arm angle, with the same kind of velocity and accuracy
Ah ok that makes sense. The way he throws the ball from so many different angles is super impressive. Sometimes it looks like he shouldn't even be able to make the throws that he does.
@@mertsalih HE started playing football in high school, where he also played baseball (pitcher and short stop) and basketball... He was drafted by a MLB team out of high school but choose college and football... And the rest is history...
I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan, Mahomes is literally the best QB I've ever seen. A lot of those plays when I watched it in real time, i made the same reaction you did. My favorite was the run against the Titans to seal the trip to the Super Bowl. his dad was a baseball player and you can see a lot of those throws coming from the baseball background. He's ridiculously amazing and I'm glad he's on my team.
Chiefs fan from KC here! Loved the video! Mahomes is already considered by most to be a first ballot hall of famer after only 5 seasons. The way you can really understand his greatness is how other elite players talk about him. When hall of fame quarterbacks are saying he's the best they've ever seen, that's saying something. If you look at what he's accomplished in such a short time, no other quarterback in history has put up the kind of numbers he has in their first 5 years in the league. The other thing that you don't get by watching the highlights is how big the moments are that he is performing many of these plays. For example, the last one was a third down and 15 in the fourth quarter of the Superbowl that they had been losing the whole game. That one play turned the game around and they ended up winning it. It's not just his ability to make exciting plays, but he makes the biggest plays in the biggest moments that makes him truly special.
Hello from across the Atlantic! I was born and raised in Kansas City, and I gotta tell you, seeing Patrick Mahomes play every week for my Chiefs is a special treat. I try so hard not to take his talent and skills for granted, but I’m not even kidding when I tell you this: Patrick’s Highlight Reel is going to be like a 3-4 hour movie by the time he’s done. The man makes insane plays almost every week. Awesome video, man! I enjoyed your reactions, and it made me feel grateful as a lifelong Chiefs fan to see these highlights from different eyes. 🙂
THANKYOU for highlighting Patrick Mahomes. He just makes the games so much fun to watch. Even if they lose (which isn't often) he still makes every effort and makes all the fans proud. I love watching him play.❤️🏈
I have been a Chief's fan my whole life and Patrick Mahomes is absolutely incredible both on the field and off. I enjoyed your reaction. We are Superbowl bound!!!
Patrick Mahomes is one of the most talented quarterbacks ever, and the best right now. You also need to see the bills vs chiefs playoff game last year, great battle between two great qbs and two great teams, to go to the AFC championship. Great video btw love your content
Mahomes grew up in Major League Baseball locker rooms surrounded by professional athletes because his dad was a MLB pitcher for various teams. He also played shortstop in baseball, one of the positions requiring a player to throw on the run with his arm at all different angles. I'd say baseball made Patrick Mahomes the football player he is today.
It was so cool to see someone from another country get so excited over Patrick Mahomes and just the magic that is sports in general. No matter where you're from, amazing plays in sports is just simply a universal language!
Mahomes is a freak of nature. He's a good 2 or 3 levels above everyone else in the NFL. He's not a normal QB. He does everything wrong and does things they teach you not to do and he makes it work. Running backwards, throwing across your body, throwing without setting your feet, throwing late across the middle of the field, he does it all but where everyone else gets intercepted or sacked, Mahomes turns them into touchdowns. He's truly gifted and I'm not even a Chiefs fan. He will rate one of the all time greats and he's just getting started. If you like heart and tough, crazy quarterback play, look up some Tim Tebow college highlights. When Tebow played for Florida, he had some truly insane highlights. He should have won two Heismans. But he did win one Heisman and he won 2 national championships. Tebow is one of the all time great college quarterbacks.
Pat is a str8 BALLER and he has embraced Kansas City as his home, we (chief's fans) are lucky to have Pat Mahomes and each of his teammates who are out there to win!
Loved your reaction man! I'm from Kansas City, so I have a lot of pride for the Chiefs and Patrick mahomes. He's such a diverse quarterback and has it all. But most of all, he's got heart. He won the Superbowl on a high ankle sprain and powered through the pain because he didn't want to let his team and his fans down. That's what makes him the best!
Local Kansas City girl here and I'm so proud of Patrick Mahomes! The man can throw a ball like no other and the chemistry from the whole team is amazing. We've won the Super Bowl twice since he's been on the team and been there three times, if I recall correctly. It had been a LOONG time since the Chiefs had been there, and now we've done is several times. It's also looking like we might be going again this year if things keep going the way they are. As for Tyreek Hill, he's no longer on the team. I can't say I miss him, he thought he was the whole team because he was fast. He was just another person in a great team, but his personality didn't mix well with them as a whole. He's now on the Miami Dolphins team and he does his stuff for them.
my favorite attribute of Mahomes is that he constantly looks down field to make the throw as he doesn't get fazed by any type of pressure he knows where his targets will be the whole time, running with the ball is absolutely a last resort. the team traded 10 Hill before this season because they knew he could get paid more money somewhere else. another play you should lookup was during the most recent game against Denver. he's running to the right headed towards the sideline. while still facing the sideline, just before going out of bounds, he throws a no look underhand pass, it looks like he's just flipping the ball down field, and he completed the pass to 1 McKinnon who then took it in for a touchdown! having been a Chiefs fan for over 40 years, i still can't believe that i'm watching such talent play for the team! ✌️🐝➕️
So - Patrick Mahomes is from Texas (like me!) and went to Texas Tech where he was the starting QB for Tech, but he also played baseball for a bit at Tech where he was a pitcher. Occasionally if you watch the Chiefs you'll see Pat take the option play and run the ball himself, and you can really tell he's a baseball player by the way he slides to the ground when he knows he's about to get tackled. He did a slam dunk touchdown the week before against Cincinnati, and the no-look toss to McKinnon this past Sunday was phenomenal. Dude doesn't even need to look before he passes.
It's such a pleasure to watch you react to watch Patrick Mahomes play. And react to American football in general. (Love the accent too!) Pass #25 where he was horizontal to the ground and off his feet when he threw the pass is often referred to as the best incompletion ever, since it hit the receiver right in the chest but he couldn't catch it. That was Superbowl 55 when the Chiefs lost to the Buccaneers. Patrick was playing on a foot with a turf toe injury so bad that he needed surgery on it 3 days after the game.
I enjoyed watching you watching him for the first time! I have been a Chiefs fan all my life and I am so delighted that we have him for our quarterback! And yes he does play every sport excellently! But he played baseball as well as he plays football! He is a sports phenom! Thank you for highlighting the Mahomes Magic!❤💛🏈
I loved listening to your comments on the Mahommes Magic! The first time I saw him play, I said to my husband “He plays football like a baseball player!” So you are correct. Patrick played Football, Basketball and Baseball in high school and college and concentrated on football in College. It’s so much fun to watch him, isn’t it? I’ve never seen anyone play the game like Patrick!! He’s a born athlete!
Welcome to the Chiefs Kingdom. We love Patrick. So much talent on the field and such a class act off the field. Most of our team are great human beings along with being amazing athletes.
1) It was an absolute joy to watch you react! As a Chiefs fan, it is fun to watch people discover this crazy talent for the first time. 2) You should check out his 2022 highlights, there are some more crazy throws. 3) I believe this is his 27 best plays before turning 27. He has MANY more crazy plays. He has been a full time player since 2018 and the Kansas City Chiefs RUclips channel has a yearly highlight for him every season (I think) 4) Hill is definitely one of the best receivers in the league. He signed the largest contract for a receiver in NFL history and has been great for the Miami Dolphins. I would recommend checking out his highlight reels released by the Chiefs/Dolphins/NFL as well. (Edit: I see you did already, I'll be watching that now, lol) Cheers!!
I’ve been a chiefs fan for the past 10 or so years. I was a fan before Kelce was a player and when he was drafted I was like yup he’s my man and I bet he’s going places… I mean look at him now breaking all the records for a TE!
We would like to welcome you to the Chiefs Kingdom! It's called Mahomes Magic for a reason. I am a lifelong Chiefs fan and after DECADES of suffering we are so glad to have him!
My dad and i are a diehard chiefs fans, i started watching football since 2014, my dad been watching the football since 1990s, even he says he never saw someone like Pat.
That was such a small sample of what he can do and has done, it’s must watch TV anytime he is on the field, rarely a game goes by, if ever, without him doing something you’ve never seen or will never see anyone else do.
I've been a Chiefs fan since I was 12. I saw them play the 49ers at Arrowhead on Dec. 26, 1982, and decided I'd be a Chiefs fan. I've experienced some abysmal seasons and crushing disappointments in those 40 years, but the last five seasons have been indescribable. Patrick Mahomes II is the Football Messiah.
Love to see someone of a different culture appreciate ours!! I grew up a “soccer” player as we call it but I’m a huge American football fan… you’re analysis was spot on! I’m glad you can see the beauty in American football as most foreigners don’t
Welcome to Chiefs Kingdom that's our quarterback he is amazing he is an MVP and he is well loved in Kansas City thank you for getting such a wonderful review he deserves it appreciate your video
Glad you got to experience a little of what we here in Chiefs Kingdom call "Mahomes Magic" 😁 But my favorite thing, by far, about him is his leadership. From his first year in the NFL all the way through winning MVP and the Superbowl and becoming one of the best-known quarterbacks in the world, he's stepped up and been a great example of what it means to be a leader. He takes responsibility for losses and mistakes (yes, he does make them) even when it was a team failure, and he deflects praise to his teammates and coaches, crediting them with the team's successes, even when he consistently performs at this level and sets the bar across the league. And yes, he did play shortstop in baseball and you can see it in the way he's able to move his body and throw off-balance. Those cross-body and sidearm throws and the twisting and the no-look throws are skills a shortstop needs. But the grit and the determination and the sheer will to make plays happen? That's all Patrick.
#10 was Tyreek Hill. He is one of the best WRs in the league and very well might be the fastest guy in the NFL. He was with the Chiefs for a while and him and Mahomes were really really good together although he was trading before this season to the Miami Dolphins
In high school and college he was a 3 sport athlete -- Baseball, Basketball and Football. His father was a professional baseball player and he encouraged Patrick to do baseball and he was drafted by a professional team by he wanted to wait for the pro football draft and he went in the first round of the draft to KC and he decided to go with football.
Thank you for making this video. I’m from Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes is the greatest blessing. That left handed throw was on my 21st birthday. I’ll never forget it.
Just stumbled upon your video and I loved it!! I’ve been a Chiefs fan my whole life and have really enjoyed watching Patrick Mahomes. His athleticism as a QB is unmatched. He may be the best QB to ever play the game.
Dad was a professional pitcher. He was a top baseball prospect in high school. I think he was drafted on two separate occasions. He picked up football late compared to most. He does things that quarterbacks are literally taught not to do because he can get away with it. Quarterbacks are not supposed to throw without having their legs set and yet he breaks this rule frequently just because he can. I watched him in college, we knew he was special, but we didn’t realize how special he was until he continued to do the same things at the professional level.
The announcer you hear say "Touchdown! Kansas City!" Is Mitch Holtis. He is our local announcer for the Kansas City Chiefs. Sadly you don't hear him on live television. But you do hear him on the radio. Lots of folks will have the game on TV, but turn the volume all the way down, turn on the radio and hear him instead of who they have on the TV broadcast.
I’m enjoying watching the breakdown through your eyes .. It makes me appreciate our Kansas City quarterback even more . He’s definitely fun to watch every week
So much fun watching someone see Mahomes for the first time. I'm lucky enough to be a season ticket holder and it's even better in person - he is unbelievable. Remember the play where you said that he bunny hops? 3 weeks before that he got injured in Denver. His right kneecap was literally off to the side of his leg. The trainer snapped it back in place on the field as he lay there and he's such a freak of nature that he healed that quickly. Here's Patrick talking about it ruclips.net/video/QdAQcCtY6GY/видео.html . You should definitely check out some plays from the '22 season - he's created even better plays this year.
I’m fortunate to live in Kansas City and be a Chiefs fan that gets to witness this magic every week!! Great reaction and consider yourself a member of Chief’s Kingdom!!
Love your perspective! You may be newer to American football but you’ve already picked up on some details of the technique and form. Really cool to hear those observations from a new fan! You’re spot on.
Your joy for sports and reactions are priceless! Little trivia for you, in one game the sports announcers referred to Patrick as Pat Mahomes and his mother actually called the booth and scolded them for saying Pat instead of Patrick!!! I will never forget that broadcast as long as I live!!!! Love from Texas!
Wow this was awesome just to watch your reaction. Really cool to see someone new to football have such a respect and understanding of the sport. Be ready! Mahomes will be making a behind the back pass here soon if the Chiefs can get a sizable lead against an opponent
Patrick mahomes is the Houdini of the NFL, the trajectory he’s on he is sure to end up as one of the greats. That guy Hill isn’t too bad either, def recommend you reacting to his highlights!
he makes kansas city so proud. he's unreal! after they won the superbowl there was a massive citywide party, they drove down the streets on a tall open top bus and people were throwing cans of beer up to him, he would catch it every time and down the beer 😂 (video of it: ruclips.net/video/Ehn4N9Orx8c/видео.html ) him and kelce are local legends
I do miss watching the Mahommes/Hill combination! But this season was amazing watching Mahommes utilize so many other players for touchdowns! Kelce, McKinnon, Hardman, Smith-Schuster, Edwards-Helaire, and Watson! Fantastic season! And even Mahommes making touchdowns! I love just watching Patrick play!
Im very happy to see someone from another country who’s narrating games with my Chiefs and Analyzing Pats agility and athleticism we’ve waited so many years.
Patrick was drafted to be a Major League Baseball pitcher like his dad was. He just made another one of his crazy improvisational throws Sunday. I was at the game and everybody thought he was going to be sacked. Patrick does a little no-look pass that ended up being a 40 yard touchdown. Tyreek Hill, #10, is the fastest man in the NFL. His nickname is "the Cheetah." Mahomes, Kelce and Hill are all breaking records on a weekly basis. Some all time records, many single season or milestone marks. Chiefs are a fun team to watch because of all the improbable/impossible looking feats the pull off.
I appreciate your comments, expressions and looks of surprise at the players and their abilities. You make me smile, thank you. My husband and I used to never miss an NFL game but we stopped watching altogether as one player after another screwed his life up and the lives of others with drugs, careless car accidents, abuse of others, which ruined their lives and the lives of their families. My husband said in the middle of one game that he was through watching felons play ball. It was over a very violent incident that was pretty much unforgivable. No accountability. We started watching college ball exclusively, which we had always loved, and didn't miss the mess we felt we were supporting by watching NFL. I don't know the names of the NFL players anymore but I want to thank you for showing these clips. I miss the excitement, but I don't miss the next day headlines about so- and so beating his wife, shooting someone, beating his dogs to death or overdosing when he had everything to live for. These clips let me see the excitement without knowing the ugliness. I enjoy watching you so much, I remember that excitment. Again, thank you! Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
A joy to watch your joy, Mert, in appreciating "our guy" Patrick. Especially being a fan in the UK! Patrick's athleticism, his joie de vivre in the game and leadership make every game a delight. And he's a fellow Texan! You did a great job analyzing the plays. Fly over and see him in person next season.
Feeling the reactions. It's more impressive seeing it in person. Plus you're going to have update your video because this season is amazing too lol.. GO CHIEFS!!!
as a fan of a division rival, who lives in the town Mahomes plays in.. I can say he is definitely the best QB I've ever seen in my 30 years of watching football. And yes, he was like all-state basketball, drafted to the MLB and NFL. He's an athletic dude for sure.
I agree with @buc4415 -- the shortstop training is an incredible advantage. He can stop/twist/run/throw; he'll use wild arm angles; he can instantly comprehend fast action as it is occurring and then adjust his plays or his body accordingly; and he can accurately throw while running/leaping/falling/being pressured. It's all shortstop. He does also have the arm strength of a pitcher - he'll throw bullets and huge passes. I have heard that he's and exceptional basketball player, tool, so he includes high jumps shots and casual-looking passes that aren't typically found in US football training. Another huge advantage: he grew up around professional sports. He was in locker rooms and on fields because of his father (a major league baseball player, as others have mentioned). Patrick witnessed triumph and loss at a major sports level. He had access to huge stadium games and to the individual athletes who actually played there. He knows the rollercoaster ride, and he knows the work that it takes to excel. And from what I understand, he is a great human being. I'm so glad he is doing so well - and I feel SUPER lucky that he's on the team I love.
First of all, I’ve been a Kansas City Chiefs Fan since 69 all of them ever cents love Mahomes just got a great team behind him. Not sure if someone’s already told you. Yes, he’s played baseball and basketball his dad was in the MLB major league baseball played for 11 years and yes he’s called magic. Mahomes some of the things that he pulls off are completely unlike any other quarterback I have ever seen I giggle every time I hear an announcer try to comment about another quarterback being like Patrick Mahomes not another one like him. We’re proud to have him. Thank you again for your commentary.
I LOVED watching you watch the "Mahomes Magic!" Yes, a great QB and an even nicer family man. He and his wife just had their second baby. He has brought a Super Bowl win to Kansas City after 50 years of not much special...but, he has the teammates he knows will finish the plays he starts! #10 Hill recently left the Chiefs for another team. We're number 1 in our conference and headed to playoffs this year!! 💛🏈❤️ CHIEFS!!!
2:08 not only was Mahomes disappointed that his guy didn’t catch the ball, but he was probably frustrated because his offensive line let him down badly in the Super Bowl. He hardly had any blocking and he was pretty much running for his life the entire game. It’s hard to win any game, let alone the Super Bowl, when you’re having to do everything by yourself, even if you’re Pat Mahomes. Also, fun fact, his dad played Major League Baseball and he played baseball too so makes sense that he could contort his body for those side/under hand throws because that’s very common in baseball.
Baseball players stretch a lot as part of their regimen. I also assumed that's why they generate more hip torque for arm motion when off balance. A lot of Patrick's throws across his body have been regarded as a no-no in football because of the risk, but he plays it as casual as Derek Jeter in the hole (best infield baseball throws to understand).
Dude love your reaction to mahomes lol i been a chiefs fan my whole life and we sucked untill he got here and hes one of tge best ever if not the best ever and ive never seen a qb do everything great like mahomes does, he makes everybthrow from every angle, he can run the ball and get down without tak8ng an unneccesary risk, hes a leader that maker other ayers around him better, hes a good humble dude with no ego, i honestly think he could be the best qb ever im not sure who i could even compare him to hes just all around awesome dude
13:18 I was laughing out loud when it got to the left handed throw 😂 I’m from Kansas City so I remember watching that game. I was hoping you’d end up reacting to that clip 😂
I loved your reactions to these plays. If you enjoyed these highlights I highly suggest watching the 2021 Bills vs Chiefs Divisional Playoff game (Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes) as well as Superbowl 54. There are other iconic games throughout his young pro career that are mind boggling but I feel those 2 games really capture how great of a player he truly is. Cheers!
Obviously bias living in Kansas City, but the guy is just incredible. It's a privilege to watch and he's created a HoF legacy never to be matched here already. But I'll keep going to all the games I can. Legend.
I've been a Chiefs fan since right about 1990. He has been incredible for the team, and Kelce is the current best Tight End in the game right now as well which makes them consistently fun to watch.
Mahomes is a freak, he could’ve easily made a career out of professional baseball as well. If my memory serves me, I think he even got drafted to an MLB team but decided he’d rather play football. Good thing, cause barring any major career derailments, he’ll undoubtedly be in the goat conversation when he calls it quits. Loving the channel brodie 🙌🏻
Yeah it is a great thing for American Football that he chose this sport. He is magnificent to watch. Such a treat. Some of the throws in this video were just beautiful to watch!
If anyone is new to American football watching these top plays in order and are maybe curious why the top 3 are where they are, even if they aren't as amazing as some of the other plays: #3 was the touchdown to Sammy Watkins that sealed the AFC Championship game for the Chiefs, sending them to their first Super Bowl in FIFTY years. #2 deserves to be #2 regardless of the situation, but this was also in that same AFC Championship game, and the Chiefs were trailing by double digits in the first half and this running touchdown was *right* before halftime, giving KC momentum in the second half. #1. This is the Super Bowl vs the 49ers. Chiefs were down 21-10 late in this game and that play, WASP, set up an eventual touchdown, followed by another one, followed by *another one* and the Chiefs won 31-20, winning their first championship in half a century. I love the Chiefs.
Patrick Mahomes was born in Lubbock Texas. His dad was a mlb pitcher. He played basketball baseball (as a pitcher. Thus the arm strength and agility.) And football. He's double jointed in every joint and had a photographic memory. I love being a Chiefs fan.
The thing is... not only does he make the most impossible throws... he makes them in the biggest moments. When everything is on the line... the game, the season, playoff.. he excells and thrives in this situations. When they won the superbwohl, he was down more then 10 in every game and won them. one was 24:0 down and he made it 28:24 in 12 minutes.. You cant predict what hes gonna do. he can run, ha can dive for touchdowns, deep bombs, fast screen passes, trick play. He does it all on such a high level. and he is in the league for only a few years and broke nearly every record. every game he adds an impossible throw to his highlight reel and every 2-3 games he shatters another record. his highlights from 2-4 years is longer than some of the other QB that are in the league for 10+ years. this year he made even more ridiciulous throws...
This is my first reaction to an individual American Footballer and it was fantastic to watch. Even to me, who is new to the sport, Patrick Mahomes is just incredible to watch. He has everything and more that a great quarterback should have. What is his best attribute? Do you think he can become the best Quarterback ever?
You need to watch a compilation of his no look passes. Surprised they weren’t included in this video. They’re amazing!
Patrick Mahomes also played baseball and was a pitcher like his father who played in the MLB.
You should watch cam Newtons top plays. Probably the most physically athletic quarterback to play. Insane plays
Absolutely love your videos. The next individual you should watch is Tyreek Hill he’s the fastest layer in the league and he was with mahomes for 4/5 years until this last year where he now plays for the dolphins. His plays are awesome
You should react to the bored films videos made about mahomes called master chief and ring one
We knew when he was playing in high school!!
GO CHIEFS
It’s been a long time coming. HOW BOUT THOSE CHIEFS
KC legend. Don’t sell yourself short.
This dude needs to check out MacLeathal as well. Another KC legend! Yo Mac, pretty sure dude's Scottish. Those UK guy's are pretty sensitive about where they're from.
Ps. That was really awesome to watch as a Chiefs fan.
@@lorancejared you’re the man. thanks for the compliment
His dad was a MLB pitcher and Patrick was a pitcher as well, could have gone pro in either league and I'm happy he chose NFL. Best QB out there
That is crazy. He is so talented that he could have made it at both sports. Some people are blessed
@@mertsalih same is true for the cardinals qb kyler murray. He actually was the 6th pick in the MLB draft and #1 pick in NFL draft
He also played shortstop. That is why all of those odd arm angle throws he makes look so natural.
Not just that, but I feel like a lot of his craziest plays come from his years playing shortstop.
@@sethp26 Russell Wilson also made the mlb
Patrick Mahomes literally made a bonkers play in his latest game this week in the NFL. The man is a highlight machine.
Thanks for letting me know Bryson. Will need to check it out
Fr pretty much every game bro has at least 1 crazy pass or sum.
@@mertsalih he just made an incredible play running for the TD again yesterday. Lol I'm from KC and this dude is an amazing talent
GO CHIEFS!!!
who the heck moves to Detroit...lol
9:58 Arrowhead earned its title as the 'World's Loudest Outdoor arena' for a good reason and you're hearing exactly why.
Amazing atmosphere
@@mertsalih 142.2 decibels!
I’d say the difference is, he plays quarterback like a short stop and not like a pitcher ( the traditional model of quarterback)
You cracked me up when you said “Does he do yoga?”
Take a look at the touchdown he made today against Seattle. Even the announcers said he looked like an acrobat. Here in Kansas City we love him!
You captured the essence of why Mahomes is special. He's also super smart, hard working, and a nice person. This video is like 2% of his highlights.
Oh that sounds good, will have a look for that and watch that today. Thanks for the suggestion Javier.

@@riccorich 13 actually but we won’t nitpick! It was too much stress for this old Chiefs fan!
@@brendafrazier811 as a bills fan im still crying from that
Mahomes grew up in Major League Baseball locker rooms surrounded by professional athletes because his dad was a MLB pitcher for various teams. He also played shortstop in baseball, one of the positions requiring a player to throw on the run with his arm at all different angles. I'd say baseball made Patrick Mahomes the football player he is today.
Patrick mahomes
Patrick mahomes sucks
I am a lifelong Chiefs fan and your reaction to Mahomes made me smile. He is truly so fun to watch.
Huge chiefs fan here.... Smiled throughout this whole video. Yep, laughed a bit as well. This guy is priceless! ❤️🏈❤️
my favorite attribute of Mahomes is that he constantly looks down field to make the throw as he doesn't get fazed by any type of pressure he knows where his targets will be the whole time, running with the ball is absolutely a last resort. the team traded 10 Hill before this season because they knew he could get paid more money somewhere else. another play you should lookup was during the most recent game against Denver. he's running to the right headed towards the sideline. while still facing the sideline, just before going out of bounds, he throws a no look underhand pass, it looks like he's just flipping the ball down field, and he completed the pass to 1 McKinnon who then took it in for a touchdown! having been a Chiefs fan for over 40 years, i still can't believe that i'm watching such talent play for the team!
✌️🐝➕️
You need to see the no look pass from the front angle to really appreciate how spectacular it was.
Your “the office” look at the camera after he threw with his left hand made me laugh out loud. Very enjoyable reaction.
And with a makeshift offensive line!
@@brendafrazier811 That too!
He has been a full time player since 2018 and the Kansas City Chiefs RUclips channel has a yearly highlight for him every season (I think)
4) Hill is definitely one of the best receivers in the league. He signed the largest contract for a receiver in NFL history and has been great for the Miami Dolphins. I would recommend checking out his highlight reels released by the Chiefs/Dolphins/NFL as well. (Edit: I see you did already, I'll be watching that now, lol)
Cheers!!
I’ve been a chiefs fan for the past 10 or so years. I was a fan before Kelce was a player and when he was drafted I was like yup he’s my man and I bet he’s going places… I mean look at him now breaking all the records for a TE!
Tyreek hill and mahomes had great chemistry when they played together. But yeah mahomes loves to spread the ball around as well
I love to see that chemistry. It is great when 2 teammates can connect almost telepathically. It is something I love to see in soccer also
@@mertsalih Travis Kelce and Mahomes are a crazy duo

We would like to welcome you to the Chiefs Kingdom! It's called Mahomes Magic for a reason. I am a lifelong Chiefs fan and after DECADES of suffering we are so glad to have him!
The best part of Patrick Mahomes is that he is an incredibly humble, kind human being. Also, the Chiefs look really good in All Red uniforms.
3:08 what he did is called a pump fake, or sometimes just a pump, in an attempt to confuse or distract the defender(s) so he can make a play
Hopefully he sees this comment
In high school and college he was a 3 sport athlete -- Baseball, Basketball and Football. His father was a professional baseball player and he encouraged Patrick to do baseball and he was drafted by a professional team by he wanted to wait for the pro football draft and he went in the first round of the draft to KC and he decided to go with football.
Thank you for making this video. I’m from Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes is the greatest blessing. That left handed throw was on my 21st birthday. I’ll never forget it.
Chief's fan here for 30 years. Enough said. There were a number of painful years in there and Patrick and company make up for all of it! Go Chiefs!!
I live in Kansas City. I get to watch him play every week. He is so amazing to watch.
Your face when he completed that lefty was hilarious! I have been a Chiefs fan for over 30 years. This dude was well worth the wait!
Through the number of games he has played , he ranks #1 of all time in every statistical category.
From a Chiefs fan and Missouri native thanks for the reaction much respect Sir.🏆
You should react to the bills vs chiefs game last year in the playoffs. One of the best games ever
And on top of it all Mahomes seems like a good guy, well-spoken, credits his teammates, and does a lot for his community. 👍
as a fan of a division rival, who lives in the town Mahomes plays in.. I can say he is definitely the best QB I've ever seen in my 30 years of watching football.
And yes, he was like all-state basketball, drafted to the MLB and NFL. He's an athletic dude for sure.
He throws it like a baseball. Your reaction has been a joy to watch.
ive had the honor of meeting him and it was wild. he is my favorite no question
As a Kansas City resident, I loved watching your reactions! You definitely nailed it. Mahomes is a great player, physically and mentally!
I enjoyed seeing these plays again through your eyes! I smile the whole time I'm watching them need to start my day like this everyday.
So much fun watching you, watching Mahomes... come to Kansas City and get the full feel of #CHIEFSKINGDOM.. thanks for doing this!!! Kansas City 🇺🇲
With all the scrambling he did that game, they said he ran 508 yards in total. That should never happen.
@@DanInBranson unless your name is Kyler Murray, Justin Fields, or Lamar Jackson lmao
You are now, officially, a Kansas City Chiefs fan!! Great react. Keepitup
Love this man...what an athlete and humble human 💞💞💞💞😘😘😘
Cheers!
I agree with you that game was amazing. I also enjoyed the 105 point game against the Rams. Not one dull moment in that one.
Wow. What a fun watch! seeing you react toe Mahomes is a blast! Mahomes is the best player to ever play the game.
He played shortstop and basketball before and his dad was a pro baseball player so he grew up in the dug out. We LOVE PATRICK!
If anyone is new to American football watching these top plays in order and are maybe curious why the top 3 are where they are, even if they aren't as amazing as some of the other plays:
#3 was the touchdown to Sammy Watkins that sealed the AFC Championship game for the Chiefs, sending them to their first Super Bowl in FIFTY years.
13:54 Tyreek Hill "The Cheetah". He plays for the Miami Dolphins now.
