Also, the play itself ("2-3 Jet Chip Wasp") requires the QB to buy time for his receiver (Hill) to get in place to catch the ball, and then throw that long pass to where Hill is going to be rather than across the field where he is at the time of the throw. Extremely impressive athleticism, and then a keen awareness of the clock and the field, along with a cool head under pressure on top of all that.

I was at the chiefs vs titans AFC Championship after driving 13 hours (I travel for work) through a blizzard for 7th row seats 45 chiefs sideline. Coldest game I have ever been too. That playoff run will always live on as one of the greatest, if not greatest, series of comeback wins seen in NFL History. I was born and raised in KC. I always was going to be a Chiefs fan but Mahomes has made it enjoyable. We have always had success with players other than the QB. Now that we have the greatest QB still playing I hope we see plenty of more superbowls. I think he needs a ring for each finger.
My favorite play that describes Mahomes was against the Bills with 13 seconds to go, we were a touchdown down, and he turned Andy Reid, the head coach, and said, "It looks grim." Reid replied, "When it looks grim, be the Grim Reaper." So Mahomes just nodded, said,"Alright. " He then proceeded to go out, get the touchdown we needed in 13 seconds, and then win in the first drive of overtime. Legend. ❤️💛❤️
Kc Native here. Also. The reason the play was number 1 was #1 is because he asked the coach to run Wasp. He called his own play. They went on to win KC's 1st super bowl in 50 years. He's done a lot since. 6 seasons, 2 maps 2 sbmvps and his passing and td records meet or beat almost every standing record in the current NFL Dudes 27 and father of 2. Mahomes just finished his 6th year in the NFL and his contract expires after the 2031 season so he'll be around for a while and he just won his 2nd super bowl on February 12th looking to come back next season become the first quarterback/team to win back-to-back Superbowls in nearly 20 years
Part of what makes Mahomes so unique is his baseball background. His father was a professional baseball player and Mahomes actually got drafted to the MLB when he was 18, he could have had a pretty successful baseball career if he decided to do that instead. All those off-balance backwards jumping throws are something you would usually just see a baseball shortstop doing, which is probably how he developed the skills. His style is not exactly what you would call "fundamental" and most coaches would flip out if most players tried that, but the esults speak for themselves. Mahomes is the best player in the NFL right now and it's not even close.

Love your reactions buddy - I'm a Live long Chiefs fan - the reason Wasp was #1 is because That is the play that turned the first Superbowl around for us - it was at that point the Chiefs knew they could come back and win and they Did. Go Chiefs!
Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL. AND he’s a really good guy. He does so much for the Kansas City community. When he was in college, he played baseball and football. He decided to just focus on football. His father was a professional baseball player.
I heard about this, but is it actually true? Idk how far he would have to throw it to actually pull that off, but even the best QB of all time would probably have a hard time pulling that one off, lol. I hope it's true, though.
She isn't wrong. Every game he is making some circus throw and embarrassing grown professional men week after week. He already throws no look passes, wait till he breaks out the behind back stuff. Wanna see it? search RUclips "Mahomes behind the back". He defies physics.
Lmao. Terrific reaction video. Mahomes is in my and many others opinion the best quarterback I've ever seen and I've been watching football for 60+years.
Mahomes is in his prime. He is in Kansas City. The past 5 years he has had 2 league MVP, 2 SuperBowl victories ( another appearance for a loss) and made it to the championship game all 5 years and played those games at home due to his regular season performances
We watched him as a college player playing at Kansas State University. He played baseball ⚾️until his Junior or Senior year in high school. He is an incredible person. His focus is team and using his status and millions to help others.
Even at this point in his young career he has done it better then anyone ever has. It is great to be a Chiefs fan and watch his incredible game play. I would put his top 100 plays up against anyone's.
He is still playing. You should watch his 2022 highlights. Even better than these. He’s coming to Germany this year to play the Dolphins. Glad to have you on board.
The #1 play was Jet Chip Wasp, in 3rd & 15, against the best defense in the league. It swung momentum to the Chiefs who then went on to win that Super Bowl 31-20 after being down 20 to 10 with only the last quarter to play. And Mahomes just keeps on doing crazy things & winning! #ThatsMyQB
I'm from Missouri and was raised a Chiefs fan. What this team is doing right now is seriously a magical moment in all of sports. They'll make movies about this team. Mahomes is a generational talent and the centerpiece of the KC Chiefs success, but it is surrounded by an awesome group of guys who have so much mutal respect. This team is classy and scrappy at the same time.
This was fun to watch! I'm what's called a "football widow", basically meaning I lose the men in my house for months every winter 😊 as someone that doesn't usually watch the games with them, it was really enjoyable to experience you seeing Mahomes. ❤
Im so happy to see this !!!! He is so loved in our community! He gives so much to everyone and hes going to be here for a very long time ❤ We hold him in deep regards round here 😂 he's our man !!! Lovely family man who shows nothing but respect !
To understand how great Patrick Mahomes is you have to understand the NFL is not like the EPL where its the same 5-6 teams at the top every year. The league enforces parity which means it's really difficult for a team to stay in the top 4 for more than a couple of seasons. Patrick Mahomes was a backup his rookie year and then in the next 5 seasons he's finished 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 1st. His team has hosted the AFC Championship Game 5 years in a row, they have won the divisional title 7 years in a row. It's insane and he is projected to be at Kansas City for the next 10 years.
Wasp was the name of the play. Hill, the fastest wide receiver in the NFL, was able to fake out the defense and sprint down the field. Mahomes than was able to cannon the ball down field to get the 1st down. That play set up the touchdown to win his first Super Bowl. That's why it's number one. Oh and welcome to Chiefs Kingdom.
If you really want to be completely blown away. Go back to 2019 and watch the playoff game at home. Chiefs vs Texans. Down 21 - 0 in the 1st quarter. Then down 24 - 0. Watch how poised Mahomes is when down HUGE DEFICITS. In Kansas City we only worry when we have a lead. Mahomes is by far the best play from behind QB ever!! Go back to his draft analysis to now. Realize that 9 other teams passed up on this QB and the Chiefs took it in the teeth by the experts for taking him. Mahomes is making them all look like fools 5 years running now. He even sat his first year in the league until the final game of the season. He only played then because we rested our starters for the playoffs. Every team in the league loves to hate on his greatness but facts are this. He could retire right now. 5 years into his career and be a 1st ballot hall of famer guaranteed. With all of the great QBs in history and to do it so fast is just insane. At the current pace he's going to tarnish all records currently held. He even has a shot at chasing Brady for rings. Only time will tell and how long Reid stays before retirement.
Super duper, great reaction. Patrick Mahomes is the best QB in the league. Sports analysts are already putting him in the elite category of one of the best players football has ever seen, in the company of Tom Brady and Joe Montana. He’s only 27 and has already won 2 Superbowls, 2 leave MVPs, and Super Bowl MVP. His first Superbowl win was the first Super Bowl win that the Chiefs had received in 50 years!!!! He’s not yet in his prime, he’s just getting started!! Buckle up cuz these next 8 years (he signed a half billion$ 10-year contract) are going to be spectacular. KC all the way!! Let’s goooo!! 🤘
My family and I have been following him since his college days, and we absolutely adore him. The talent is unreal. He pulls miracles out of thin air like it’s nothing, and he’s a great person, as well. If you want to see some other crazy things he did, like come back from 3rd down and 40 some odd yards, then check out some highlights from his time at Texas Tech University. Wreck ‘Em Tech! Go Chiefs!
"He's fast as fuck". I laughed so hard when you said that. I have seen every game Patrick Mahomes has played. I am always amazed at his talent. Huge Kansas City fan.
One of the amazing things about Mahomes is he isn't afraid to get hit. Typically, QB's take as few risks with their bodies as possible because if your star QB gets injured, you're in a lot of trouble. They're the team captains. The usual play if a QB is gonna be tackled for a loss of yards is to throw the ball away for an incomplete pass. Mahomes, though, is NEVER afraid to run it, and if he thinks he can make the first down (resets the 4-play set) himself, he will.
It's a blast to watch someone see Pat Mahomes for the first time and gaze in child-like wonderment at his amazing feats. He is the best quarterback the world has ever seen. Here's another link for you with even more outrageous plays. Enjoy and welcome to Chiefs Kingdom. ruclips.net/video/xeRxUwBZ9EQ/видео.html
WASP was the name of the play. It used the speed of hill and his ability to quickly break from on direction to another. But also Mahomes had to hold onto the ball long enough for him to get into position. That was a third and 15 and had they not completed that pass they would have had to go for it on 4th down because punting at this point in the game would surely sealed the game for the 49ers
The #1 play was called WASP. As stated it's what got Kansas City back into Super Bowl 54, which they ended up winning. You should react to his 2022-2023 season. He did some crazy stuff this past season AND won another Super Bowl.
Play #8 was his first year starting early in the season and it was kind of an "oh shit" moment for the league. Like this isn't normal. And the rest of his career ever since is just more of the same.
Pat has been a blessing to the Chiefs Kingdom & the Chiefs have created a dominant of play & to top it off the community loves the organization because they give back so much Literally the best in every category
Nice to watch a Brit enjoy Patrick's magic like we do. I laughed out loud - he was so amazed. They didn't show his first perhaps his best no look cross the body pass that stunned the football world including me. GO CHIEFS
5:40 whenever a wide receiver (the people that catch the ball) catch a ball while diving, if they’re touched by a defender at all, even a finger while they’re on the ground, the play is over, but if they’re not touched, they can get up and try to run and score a touchdown
#21 is just amazing. Early in his career. He only played two years in hs and two years in college before being pro. That’s 4-6years of QB training. Most qb’s at pro level have been doing it for a decade as they start college ball. Mahomes is beyond special.
Hello from Kansas City! And despite the name we are in Missouri. A common misconception. I’m a few min from the stadium and the firework display when we beat the Cubs last night looked grand from the front porch swing of my lil 1916 bungalow. The Hispanic neighbors were blasting mariachi music in their driveway, we shared some Pozole and couple beers to celebrate. Sunday night in the Midwest.
Just to answer a few questions Yes Patrick Mahomes still plays in Kansas City and will for at least another 7 years. Yes we are one of the best teams and we have won 2 Super Bowls in the past 4 years. Mahomes is still very young and debatable whether he's hit his prime yet. Please come out to a game in Kansas City it's one of the best football experiences in the league.
This is written a year after you were watching this. Patrick Mahomes dad was a professional pitcher in the Major leagues in Baseball. Patrick grew up in the baseball world with the players and workouts and practices. He had a glove on at 3. In high school he played basketball and pitched in baseball like dad. In college he started playing football and in his sophomore year his football coach told him to concentrate on one sport. At the time the Detroit Tigers wanted him for baseball. Mahomes decided to go with football. He was a sub until the main quarterback got hurt and Mahomes filled in. He became their main quarterback. A scout for the Chiefs was watching another guy for possible draft and was mezermized by Mahomes. He kept watching him and ended up telling the coach about him. Veech really pushed for Mahomes. Mahomes decided in Jr. year to go for the draft. KC worked overtime to push their numbers for choosing a draft with deals with Buffalo. They got to 10 and got Mahomes. He spent his rookie year under their quarterback learning and studying. He got to play quaterback in one or two games at the end of the season. Next season he was the quaterback. What makes Mahomes different is his baseball background. I'm convinced of this. His throwing his different and it confuses other teams. Mahomes can do things most qb cannot do because of baseball.
Oh yeah, definitely still the starting QB. He's played for 5 seasons, played in 5 championship games, 3 Superbowls, and won 2 of those Superbowls. He's just a phenom of a player.
#9 will forever be known as his "No look pass". He looked one way and passed the opposite way. He was the first to do it in a game. Its been done several times since. #2 was notable because it was the momentum switch we needed to get back in the game. We went on to win and that run changed everything.
That number 10 touchdown pass, that game was CRAZY, my favorite game 💯 you should go check it out, it was the divisional game CHIEFS VS BILLS, Patrick Mahomes came back with 13 seconds to take it to OT than went to score in OT for the win, go check it out
As a Chiefs fan, I say welcome, plenty of room on the train. And Mahomes signed a 10 year deal for half a billion dollars... he will retire a Chief. Mahomes is probably the most talented QB to ever exist.

Love your reactions buddy - I'm a Live long Chiefs fan - the reason Wasp was #1 is because That is the play that turned the first Superbowl around for us - it was at that point the Chiefs knew they could come back and win and they Did. Go Chiefs!
As a representative of Chiefs Kingdom, we welcome you fully.
Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL. AND he’s a really good guy. He does so much for the Kansas City community. When he was in college, he played baseball and football. He decided to just focus on football. His father was a professional baseball player.
Patrick Mahomes threw a football out of the K.C. Chiefs Stadium once just for fun.
Flight did that, but in the patriots stadium the cameras just weren’t on at the time
I heard about this, but is it actually true? Idk how far he would have to throw it to actually pull that off, but even the best QB of all time would probably have a hard time pulling that one off, lol. I hope it's true, though.
@@96redprelude
There's video of it on RUclips.
@@96redprelude there’s a video of it
@You need some milk Yeah... I think the other guy said that already.
The thing about him is this stuff happens every week almost
She isn't wrong. Every game he is making some circus throw and embarrassing grown professional men week after week. He already throws no look passes, wait till he breaks out the behind back stuff. Wanna see it? search RUclips "Mahomes behind the back". He defies physics.
Lmao. Terrific reaction video. Mahomes is in my and many others opinion the best quarterback I've ever seen and I've been watching football for 60+years.
As a Kansas Citian... we love #15 dearly, and glad you do, too!
Mahomes is in his prime. He is in Kansas City. The past 5 years he has had 2 league MVP, 2 SuperBowl victories ( another appearance for a loss) and made it to the championship game all 5 years and played those games at home due to his regular season performances
I live in the shadow of Chiefs stadium and am a major Chiefs fan! Mahomes is simply amazing!
Happy to have you aboard. Plenty of room on the Chief's bandwagon. Chiefs will keep Mahomes till he retires.
With Mahomes and so many good QB's it is always a pleasure watching them. Even if they are going against your Team. Unless your name is Brady, lol.
One of the best reaction videos I’ve seen bruh😎👍🏾
We watched him as a college player playing at Kansas State University. He played baseball ⚾️until his Junior or Senior year in high school.
He is an incredible person. His focus is team and using his status and millions to help others.
He played at Texas Tech
Even at this point in his young career he has done it better then anyone ever has. It is great to be a Chiefs fan and watch his incredible game play. I would put his top 100 plays up against anyone's.
Mahomes = Best QB in the league
Chiefs = Best team in the league
He is still playing. You should watch his 2022 highlights. Even better than these. He’s coming to Germany this year to play the Dolphins. Glad to have you on board.
i'll have to watch it for sure! thanks!!
At this point he’s reaching Tom Brady levels of success, he’s not that up and coming young kid anymore
Mahomes is already a two time NFL MVP, two superbowls, and two superbowl MVPs, he’s well on his way to being the greatest of all time
To understand how great Patrick Mahomes is you have to understand the NFL is not like the EPL where its the same 5-6 teams at the top every year.
When you were yelling “They’re in trouble!” that’s what goes through my head everytime the chiefs play lol
This is how you become a chiefs fan in 10 minutes "they're in trouble!!"😂
Welcome to Chiefs Kingdom! It's a great time to be a Chiefs fan. Mahomes is reaching his peak now.
Welcome to Chiefs Kingdom! Glad you enjoyed the Mahomes magic
This coming season will be considered entering his prime
I think we have a new fan in the KINGDOM
Mahomes = Greatness
How Bout Those World Champion CHIEFS!!!
Go Chiefs!
As a Chiefs fan, born and raised in Kansas City, Welcome to the Kingdom :)
You can see him play live in germany this season....🎉🎉..... No large pond crossing necessary
It's a blast to watch someone see Pat Mahomes for the first time and gaze in child-like wonderment at his amazing feats. He is the best quarterback the world has ever seen. Here's another link for you with even more outrageous plays. Enjoy and welcome to Chiefs Kingdom.

And just wait for an updated best plays video...he continues to make never before seen plays...
One year later and another Super Bowl championship under his belt. 15 is UNBELIEVABLE!
Play #8 was his first year starting early in the season and it was kind of an "oh shit" moment for the league. Like this isn't normal. And the rest of his career ever since is just more of the same.
You are one of the best commentators. You are the Patrick Mahomes of your profession.
Pat has been a blessing to the Chiefs Kingdom & the Chiefs have created a dominant of play & to top it off the community loves the organization because they give back so much
Literally the best in every category
Nice to watch a Brit enjoy Patrick's magic like we do. I laughed out loud - he was so amazed. They didn't show his first perhaps his best no look cross the body pass that stunned the football world including me. GO CHIEFS
5:40 whenever a wide receiver (the people that catch the ball) catch a ball while diving, if they’re touched by a defender at all, even a finger while they’re on the ground, the play is over, but if they’re not touched, they can get up and try to run and score a touchdown
Mahomes doesn't throw the ball, he slings it.
I’ve got family in London and they are huge Chiefs fans. Have been for years.
#21 is just amazing. Early in his career. He only played two years in hs and two years in college before being pro. That’s 4-6years of QB training. Most qb’s at pro level have been doing it for a decade as they start college ball. Mahomes is beyond special.
Chiefs are always welcoming new fans! You are welcome to join Chiefs Kingdom!
Watch Mahomes touchdown run against Seahawks in 2022. Also Mahomes pass to McKinnon against Broncos in 2022. Those are 2 more amazing plays.
There were 2 amazing plays against the Buccaneers in 2022 as well.
#9 will forever be known as his "No look pass". He looked one way and passed the opposite way. He was the first to do it in a game. Its been done several times since.
#2 was notable because it was the momentum switch we needed to get back in the game. We went on to win and that run changed everything.
"run around on the touchdown box". Greatness!
I'm an Eagles fan so obviously I don't like the chiefs but despite this I can admit Mahomes is one of the best to ever play the game
That number 10 touchdown pass, that game was CRAZY, my favorite game 💯 you should go check it out, it was the divisional game CHIEFS VS BILLS, Patrick Mahomes came back with 13 seconds to take it to OT than went to score in OT for the win, go check it out
Liked your video! As a second generation Chiefs fan Chiefs Kingdom welcomes you as a new fan❤️🏈🏟️🏈❤️
Feels good to be a Texas tech fan and have an amazing young man like this represent us and KC fans
As a Chiefs fan, I say welcome, plenty of room on the train. And Mahomes signed a 10 year deal for half a billion dollars... he will retire a Chief. Mahomes is probably the most talented QB to ever exist.
Also theres a video out now called Patrick Mahomes: Ring 2. Worth a watch too.
There's another RUclips video called, "Every Patrick Mahomes Touchdown (2018-2022)" by Bagel that over 58 minutes of TD'S!
@@jenniferaceste8823 I been wanting to see that one but havent had the spare time yet. I'm sure its good, but wont suggest something I havent personally seen yet.
@@dalehammers4425 Fair enough.
As a Chiefs fan, I will take this man as a bandwagon 😂
He is so much fun to watch!
lol this is excellent
you reacting to his no-look pass is the best lmao
glad you liked it!:)
Let's go, Let's Freaking Go, How Bout Those Chiefs!💝
It has to be demoralizing to play him in a game
The guy watching these plays is AWESOME! I believe
I’ve picked up a few terms from him while watching him. I like the term Touchdown Box! I think I’d watch some more of his videos if I can find any. Stick with the K.C. Chiefs and you’ll do great!
Facts!!! Best QB in the NFL at present!!!
"What a player to watch" yes he is. Im a 30 year fan of the Chiefs but, since the Mahomes are started, things have gone to a whole new level. Please do some more Chiefs reactions. If they win the Superbowl this coming year, that will be 3 in a row. No team has ever done that before🎉🎉
