armored adventures adapted 3 of those 1. he's a teenager all the time in it 2. he uses rollerskate armor to escape when hit with an EMP 3. his armor became an obsessed stalker
Didn't Civil War end with Cap beating the crap out of Iron Man and then being arrested after surrendering because he was ready to literally murder his long time friend and realized they lost sight of what they were fighting about?
It did. They literally took the moments before this, to make it seem like Tony was the agressive one. Don't know why they did it, there's plenty of material from Civil War that shows how bad Tony Stark was
A little bit of context Cap was beating the crap out of him, while he was stuck in a disabled suit(Vision disabled it). And had to literally be stopped by civilians from bashing Tony's head in.
Strangly iron man armoured adventures did a storyline with the armour getting hit by lightning. Only there the AI was updating and when the lightning hit its programming to keep tony alive and safe became disturbingly insane, planing to keep him inside and using life support to keep him alive. Though there the suit wasn’t in love with him it was just following glitched programming
The 90's FF show was way worse than Iron Man too, although even as a kid I thought both were lame.. Compared to X-Men, Spider-Man and Batman. Coulda been waaay better.
That time travel story with Dr. Doom is actually considered to be a classic and part of a larger story stemming from the early 70s to the late 80s, culminating in a great story with Dr. Strange teaming up with Dr. Doom to save his mother's soul from Mephisto, one of Marvel's best graphic novels.
Wait! The first season of the 90s cartoon was terrible, from the opening theme music to the animation, but the second season was good, especially the revised opening theme music. The animation was much improved and the characterization was more inline with the comics, plus it had an adult, soap opera feel to it.
I wouldn't call it "fantastic", but it was a distinct improvement over the 90s cartoon. My main beef with it was that it featured "teen Tony". But since it really was Tony in his younger days and not him replacing older Tony (like in those awful comics), I mostly got over it.
Actually, Doomquest is referenced in MVC3, not only did Iron Man get an alternate color from this story, he's also recognised by king Arthur in their pre-battle dialogue.
6:44 "Don't expect this to be referenced by Marvel ever ever again" In Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, when Iron Man wins against Doctor Doom, he says "And don't think I forgot about what happened in Camelot."
The fact that the suit is in love with him is forgotten by everybody... except fanfiction writers who created both the "sentient armor/Tony Stark" and "Armour Kink" tags for AO3 =)) The sentient armour is a long lived and long remembered trope among writers.
What about in one universe how he's not really a Stark. He was adopted by Maria and Howard to protect their real son Arno. I ask my friends about it and they look at me like I'm crazy. Even my dad looked at me like I was crazy and he loves Marvel Comics.
1) Iron man is one of the most popular characters ever! he is awesome 2) adolesence is 13-18 not 19 3) That storyline with the suit... yuk. Marvel is lame at making stories
The second season of the 1990's Animated Series was actually pretty good, same with Fantastic Four. Their second seasons were vastly improved in every aspect. Armored Adventures was pretty good too. Super Hero Squad; not so much.
I read that the Guy who wrote Fantastic Four Season 1 was the same Guy who wrote Iron Man season 1, people complained that the nonsensical Science was terrible in the Iron Man show, but it made more sense in Fantastic Four which I think is funny to any other Superheroes, fighting Aliens, accidentally getting sent to another Dimension or Fighting an underground Mole Man would be the weirdest things ever but to the Fantastic Four that's Monday Tuesday and Wednesday
Iron Man was Heroes Reborn best book. It was not perfect, far from it, but from my memory it was the first attempt to make him look cooler and more on par with today technology. A lot of these changes carried over when the heroes returned to their normal books.
Season 2 of the Iron Man cartoon wasn't too bad. Season 1 was... not good at all. Also you say Doomquest and Demon in a Bottle were the only seminal Iron Man works then you immediately talk about Armor Wars. C'mon guys... You were also showing pictures of the wrong Armor Wars. The Crossing is not to be spoken of. Ever.
I loved the ultimate universe comic books they were really good and very interesting concept like Sue storm being Kang the Conqueror and Reed Richards being evil Plus Miles Morales came out of the Ultimate Universe so it wasn't a complete waste
Mask Of The Iron Man was referenced in the IRON MAN 3 trailers. It was some bait and switch misleading trailer bullshit, just like the rest of Iron Man 3
OMG Armor Wars was Stark trying to get all of the armor technology back that was *stolen* from him. Do some research. DR. Doom and Ironman go back in time to Camelot and it's goofy AF. It was goofy AF because it was the 70's (I think) and it's comic books. The Ultimate Universe: I can't defend how it ended (I wasn't collecting it as it ended but I heard of some drastic creative decisions they made towards the end). However, the Ultimate Universe was a grittier, better version of a Marvel Universe (at least for a while). I'm pretty sure death actually meant something in the Ultimate Universe.

Tony Stark made an appearance as Ironman by remote to scold Peter. Tony Stark made an appearance as Ironman in-person to save the ferry boat and to again scold Peter. Tony Stark got engaged to Pepper Potts at the end of the film. Tony Stark not only made a high-tech Spider-Man costume, but he also gave the costume a Jarvis/Friday virtual intelligence AND pre-programmed dozens of special web shooter settings. Then upgraded costume was made by Tony Stark. Robert Downey Junior’s head was larger and more prominent than Tom Holland in one of the official movie posters. No, it wasn’t a Spider-Man movie. That film should have been called, “Ironman 4: the Arachnid Apprentice.”
Movie I'd like to see: The Avengers versus The Justice League. Better yet, Tony Stark versus Bruce Wayne: Battle Of The Billionaires! Who's Got The Most Wonderful Toys?
Actually in Armor Wars Tony had his tech stolen by Spymaster that was send by Justin Hammer that sold the tech to Shield or other "Super Heroes" and Armor Wars is one of Iron Man best Story Arcs next to The Power of Iron Man,Doomquest or Hands of The Mandarin,at least for V1.
Marvel DID reference Doomquest though, in All New All Different Iron man, Tony met up with Doom who was no longer in the suit and to prove he was Doom brought it back up.
Doomquest was great! It played up the differences and similarities between Doom and Stark, including the fact that Doom is open minded with respect to magic and Tony is not. Armour Wars, on the other hand... yeah that was bad.

Actually, the goal of Iron Man was to make a hero out of someone everyone (or at least the average comic book reader) hated at the at the time: a rich weapons manufacturer who supported the Vietnam War. He was everything the counterculture movement was against, and America's involvement with Vietnam was controversial even outside those circles. From there, the goal was to make him both sympathetic and someone people would root for without changing his core philosophies or traits. Also worth noting that originally, he couldn't remove the suit or he would die due to the shrapnel near his heart. He eventually switched from a gray suit to a gold one and finally managed to ditch it and become Tony again as time went on (with red being added to his suit along the way), but the main point of sympathy for him was that his choices were to live in a bulky metal suit, unable to touch or feel anything or be seen normally, or die.
Except for Iron Man was RIGHT. The difference between the Civil War storyline and the PATRIOT ACT is that in the real world no one has superpowers. That's a pretty big part of it. Random "heroes" were going out on their own, and were dying. It's like handing out nuclear weapons randomly, and not keeping track of who has them.
armored adventures adapted 3 of those

Insane Makaioshin Yes, but that series was pretty amazing though.
@@rogue_asami4522 nah

That's pretty much what the number one spot was doing. It just loved him too.
2:08 That footage is not the 90's Fantastic 4 show you're talking about. That's "Fantastic 4: World's Greatest Heroes" from 2006.
The 90's FF show was way worse than Iron Man too, although even as a kid I thought both were lame.. Compared to X-Men, Spider-Man and Batman. Coulda been waaay better.
I blame James Wade for that little fuck up.
Hahaha, that would be me. Apologies!!
Doom Quest was actually referenced in one of the more recent iron man comics as a build up to Infamous Iron Man.
I can't believe the Black Widow sex tape didn't make it. Especially considering Pepper and Tony now.
He had sex with black widow. ..
MY MAN!
That was part of Ultimate Iron Man. So it technically made it.
Thanks for that I wasn't sure which series that took place in but it makes sense that it'd be the ultimate universe.
That happened in the ultimate universe. Tony and Pepper never dated in that universe
Both Natasha and Tony have slept around a lot, including with each other...
How about when he cloned Thor
how about his new replacement Rriri ?
I thought Reed Richards cloned Thor
Gentle neal It was a group effort with Reed, Tony, and Hank Pym.
How about that time Ultron merged with him to become a clone of Janet Van Dyne?
Meta That was hilarious.

I heard it was I got to check it out
I liked the 90s Ironman cartoon. It was fun but serious when needed to be
Logan Skelton The second season is the only good thing about the iron man show. The first season is so bad is that they fucking retcon it!
Lavon Media Why cant I like it even when nobody else did
Logan Skelton I know right? It's your opinion and I respect it. And yeah the theme song from the second season was pretty damn awesome.
Lavon Media Thank you for the respecting my opnion. And I agree with you on the theme it kicked major butt
I liked it too. Not every cartoon has to be B:TAS to be enjoyable. It was cool, and it got me into the character in the first place.
Actually, Doomquest is referenced in MVC3, not only did Iron Man get an alternate color from this story, he's also recognised by king Arthur in their pre-battle dialogue.

What about the time when Ultron turns Iron-Man into a woman who looks like the Wasp?
That "terrible nineties cartoon" was the one which made me love Ironman and Marvel in general. :D
Why would anyone want to forget Tony's battle with alcoholism? It made him more compelling and cheering him to overcome it.
Ideas pouring out of him, thank god I was on my comic book addiction in those day!
Really surprised 'Force Works' didn't make this list
Yo don't knock the iron man cartoons that's my childhood right there
“For iron man 4, if that even gets made”

"10 Things Marvel Wants You To Forget About Iron Man"
#0 That Iron Man became popular much thanks to Robert Downey Jr.
Hey Tony invented rocket powered roller skates with miniature transistors for the US Army and was told he'd revolutionized troop movements
The fact that the suit is in love with him is forgotten by everybody... except fanfiction writers who created both the "sentient armor/Tony Stark" and "Armour Kink" tags for AO3 =)) The sentient armour is a long lived and long remembered trope among writers.
The time Tony’s armor gains sentience is one of Ultron’s failsafes
I've always liked Ironman. So I was really excited for the movie when it first came out. But the MCU really made him popular
I thought number one was gonna be the time he got drunk and beat up Pepper.
How about top 10 things Marvel wants you to forget about Marvel
And Too 10 things DC wants you to forget about DC
Or top 10 things marvel wants you to forget about DC and vice versa
#11. That time he became a woman.
Theamazingdemo because of ultron
wayne nicholls comics are weird
Natasha Stark that marries Cap?
Jessica Strike when ultron took over his armor he turned Stark into a woman who resembles the Wasp
Tony Abraham ahh thank you didn't know that happened! 😂
Tony and Dr. Doom teamed up again in late 80s in another story except was in the future.
And that one night stand the armor witnesses was with Trixie Tang of all people!

god civil war was awful for iron man but it also ruined a lot of other characters
I definitely remember watching the 90s cartoon; I can't remember whether I ever liked it or not.
Tony Stark is adopted. That is CURRENT continuity. Have we all forgotten?
1) Iron man is one of the most popular characters ever! he is awesome
2) adolesence is 13-18 not 19
3) That storyline with the suit... yuk. Marvel is lame at making stories

Wow - those cartoons from the 90’s were all good. I was a big fan of Iron Man and Fantastic 4. I put those up there with the X-Men cartoon.
Ultimate Tony Stark was not blue because he was so intelligent, in short the blue "color" was a nanotech armor.

Nobody is flawless,even Tony Stark.

What is the name of the music used in this list?
Please refrain from calling artists "professional bigots" in future, just because you don't like someone's politics, doesn't make them a bigot.
No one is going to point out they started randomly playing Christmas music?
Camelot was the greatest! When iron Man's able to wield Excalibur, Doom had the greatest response: This is NOT the way to get on my good side!

2:20 I dunno, I thought Armored Adventures was pretty good.
There's certainly a way to do the last one well. If you can make the armor sympathetic.
I loved the Iron Man animated series. That's the reason Iron Man is my favorite hero.
