Wild part is the most guilty one of the bunch with the most to gain ( 2 kids with no custody battle ) by her husband's death - Dan Merkel , has immunity to charges in this case ! Never quite figured out why but its been a long time since she testified to that.
Charlie & his sister when ask questions asked the same questions back pretending they never heard, that's a sign of guilt.A person who pays extortion money only pays if they are guilty as if you had nothing to hide you would go straight to the police.
Yes. And Charlie could have rid himself of the “extortionists” AND greatly furthered the investigation into the murder of Dan Markel by going to police if he were a good man, and yet he didn’t?! Note contrast with Jeff Lacasse’s behavior who was the first suspect in this case. He not only provided proof of innocence, he went back to police twice more voluntarily to give additional info. These two men are portraits of a guilty vs an innocent man.
The fact that she spent a night and left with $138K in simply unbelievable. He’s a smart, trained periodontist but his behavior and chattiness defies common sense and the jury doesn’t have to be full of rocket scientist to return a GUILTY verdict.
Thank you for this presentation. Your commentary provides a more positive outcome from the Prosecution's cross than other channels portrayed. Your assessment makes sense.
I'm 100% sure he's guilty but honestly he held his own here and I wonder what the jury are going to think of it. The prosecutor did a lot better with Wendi.
@aella2000. Agree one hundred percent! I think he’s guilty, but he did a good job up there exchanging blows with the prosecutor. Like I said, I think he was involved, but he more than held his own up there.
He's a pro liar...most people would have folded but he didn't because he's used to lying. Zero conscience and full of himself. I'm sure the jury saw all of this esp the laughing and smirking...
I've followed this case from the beginning....always thought he was guilty....after the last two days, I'm not so sure. Yes, he did some things that are questionable but I now have doubts about somethings
His story is just so bizarre. A normal person would still go to the police straight away. And explain their lives were at risk if they were being threatened.
Even after they were caught and he was “safe” he never went to the police about the extortion. Strange it didn’t come into play until he was accused 🤦♂️
@suzyq4real How do you know what you would do until you are in real time facing this type of issue, especially knowing someone was assassinated via two shots to the head.

I am going to watch the whole thing after this. But, am I correct that he said yesterday that the perps took care of the victim and THEN decided to extort for money?? So, he's saying that they didn't get a payment up front, etc., etc. before supposedly taking it upon themselves to do the deed - just based on the assumption he had money and would pay them after the fact? If that is what he is saying, then that is def one of the dumbest defenses ever...
Right? But so many people are falling for the okie doke in these comments it’s hilarious. It’s like some people think if they don’t break down on the stand and confess like in movies then immediate it’s an acquittal or hung jury. Hopefully the less intelligent who can’t see through him were weeded out.
Yes, he's saying Katie blabbed to her friends that Charlie had over 300K cash in his house, and that she also happened to relay the hitman/TV joke to those same people, and they put two and two together. So, the killer/extortionists drove TWO times to Tallahassee from Miami, completely on their own idea, they somehow knew how to find Dan Markel's home and trail him, only to kill him, return home, and tell Katie that she has 48 hours to get Charlie to cough up the 300K for this "favor" that they were doing for the family, or someone else connected to the Adelsons is next. That's basically his defense.
Something weird was said. They weren't close siblings when they were little but grew closer when older... Aren't young siblings usually close, and grow apart somewhat apart after time? This family seems so backwards, except the eldest.
This cross examination & your analysis of it seem a lot more effective than I originally thought. Hopefully the jury will see through his lame story, even though he seems to have a warped explanation for everything
I agree. Charlie’s unshakable confidence on the stand batting back every question surprised me but he is an accomplished liar and manipulator just like is sister and mother from what I’ve seen and heard in evidence over the trials. He did counter-balance the strength of the cross examination but his implausible answers need to be believed. I don’t believe a word and expect him to be put away for life, shortly followed by his mother and sister at the very least. I believe his father also had knowledge if not more involvement in the planning and payments. ⚖️⚖️⚖️ + ⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️
Something that doesn't make sense in his version is when Katherine told Charlie she knew who killed Dan, why would she give the specific names of the two killers. Or for that matter, that there were two killers at all? It would be so easy for him to simply go to tell his family to get out of town immediately and work with the police to catch Katherine and the other two.
My daughter is able to remember a conversation and repeat it days later. She is 3 she is able to remember conversations from weeks ago. Has been since 2.5yrz old. So it's balony that a 3 and 4 Yr old wouldn't remember a conversation x
Imagine you are arrested for a crime you didn't commit, and then you are put in jail for a crime you didn't commit while awaiting trial, and then you take the stand, and you smirk, and you laugh, and crack jokes. Would you be laughing if your life were on the line? No, you would be freaking out and very serious in responding to questions about the case.
This prosecutor is asking way too many open ended questions to a guy who has clearly rehearsed. She needs to narrow them to questions that give less wiggle room. Sometimes it’s a good strategy when the witness is shooting themselves in the foot, but this guy is getting too much time to plant doubt in the jury.
Why wouldn't Charlie be in fear and give the cash and promise to pay monthly payment . Why is it far fetched that he wouldn't be in fear for himself and his family. His ex brother in law was assassinated by these money hungry murders.
Nevermind, he is still going to prison. There is too much evidence against him. Besides, only Wendi would know what Dan's daily routine from morning to evening would look like. Dan was murdered after dropping off the kids to school because it was planned to be done that way. Wendi was the one who put the battery in everyone's back that put all these murderous plans into motion.
When you see someone in the witness stand and they are all casual and confident when they're up for murder...you know instantly something's wrong. If you are innocent...you are terrified you will be found guilty of something you didn't do. If you are guilty, you tend to try to _act like you're not guilty..._ which is this guy! The story is not only BS is Laughable! I hope the jurors have half a brain! 🤞🤞🤞 I'm still mind-boggled by the jurors in the Casey Anthony trial. WTF
So glad to have found your evening analyses. I was all in for Charlie after watching his courtroom demeanor and first day of testimony. I found him a sympathetic character. BUT, today he was a different guy. Understandably feeling good about yesterday, but, jeez, nearly entirely confident & cocky. As you say, we'll have to wait for closings. See you Monday night!
It’s small, but his saying to ‘rough someone up’ is just an adjective is wrong, it’s an adverb. The action is, rough (as in hurt) and it’s noun is, someone. Just saying, coz he was so smug and all.
Why in the world would these "extortionist" kill Dan which is literally a problem for the Adelsons? Like they literally did them a favor by killing dan? But if like charlie says Garcia hates him SOOO BAD why not kill someone in his family ? Why kill Dan lmao it doesnt make sense they literally solved a problem for the Adelson family then extorted them? Cmon. Its too many coincidences.
This Madam Prosecutor is the Bozzzzzzzzzz. This girl is on FIRE. Just a Badazzz. They're presentations of doubt are not getting past her and into the jury's head. She presented a clever argument in this entire trial. Unshakable & Direct. Great Attorney.
His responses are so quick and so rational. Like when he’s asked “why would someone do that?” He immediately says “you’d have to ask them” he literally doesn’t give a single incorrect answer. When he said “thank god they didn’t come to me with a gun to my head because I’d be dead” I about fell off the couch. His answers are so quick and make sense IF he were innocent. Not saying he IS innocent, but he handled that cross better than I think I’ve ever seen a guilty person handle cross examination. Especially under the mass amounts of evidence against him. He just does not budge an inch! It was unbelievable watching the way he handles himself I was stunned. And I hate admitting, I found him extremely likable
His life depends on his answers. People who normally BS in their daily life have no problem with this and are quick on their feet to not get caught. So no surprise here with him. I don't see how he is likeable at all though.

No one has to die - unless the custody battle was boiling over - crazy family - I hope they lock them up .
Sigfrato 😂
Wild part is the most guilty one of the bunch with the most to gain ( 2 kids with no custody battle ) by her husband's death - Dan Merkel , has immunity to charges in this case ! Never quite figured out why but its been a long time since she testified to that.
Charlie up here bein sassy AF 😂😂
"There's no explanations, I just explained...". 😂😂😂😂😂
she sure kept her style, right on point, Georgia is a Smooth Operator 🥳🎉
His story it's so ridiculous, who will believe that?
Turns out, not too many😂
Donna and Charlie believe it 🤷♀️
Charlie & his sister when ask questions asked the same questions back pretending they never heard, that's a sign of guilt.A person who pays extortion money only pays if they are guilty as if you had nothing to hide you would go straight to the police.
Exactly right!
One of the keypoints is how the killers got their information. The defense made no attempt to show that it wasn't provided by Charlie.
Exactly
He lies like a rug, the prosecutor couldn't make him lose his composure at all but he has an answer for everything that's where he messed up
The fact that she spent a night and left with $138K in simply unbelievable. He’s a smart, trained periodontist but his behavior and chattiness defies common sense and the jury doesn’t have to be full of rocket scientist to return a GUILTY verdict.
They could bring Katie back in to dismiss Charlie's absurd claim
I loved when she brought up the “puzzle pieces” and “putting the toothpaste back in the tube”😂😂😂
I hope that the jury in this case are smarter than a fifth grader.
Thank you for this presentation. Your commentary provides a more positive outcome from the Prosecution's cross than other channels portrayed. Your assessment makes sense.
Brilliant Georgia !!!
Very smart lady and you nailed Charlie.
Way too go
Congratulations on your Win
I never once watched a trial that didn’t have at least one lady coughing every 25 seconds. Crazy.
I'm 100% sure he's guilty but honestly he held his own here and I wonder what the jury are going to think of it. The prosecutor did a lot better with Wendi.
He sure did hold it together. I'm shocked. I expected an ah-ha gotcha moment from Georgia's cross today and it never happened.
@aella2000. Agree one hundred percent! I think he’s guilty, but he did a good job up there exchanging blows with the prosecutor. Like I said, I think he was involved, but he more than held his own up there.
Expected way more from Georgia today.
I would have gone to the police immediately. This is ridiculous, I hope the jury sees through it. 🤨
Yes, I would’ve called the police immediately too. Isn’t it interesting that he didn’t even record the extortion to give to the police as evidence.
@@suzyq4realA week ago 3 people called the police to tell them there is danger from an individual and 18 people were killed in Maine
@suzyq4real How do you know what you would do until you are in real time facing this type of issue, especially knowing someone was assassinated via two shots to the head.
@@rozanne799 The reason I know I would is because my fear of other family members would be harmed. I would have gone straight away and ask for help before giving money to my nephews father's murderer. Sorry, no one would scare me off. That's what the State Police are for if you don't trust locals. Don't pull that card on me. 😎
@@rozanne799 it’s called common sense and confident to know who I am. Yes, any rational non- involved person would’ve called the police. Please don’t think for me and carry on with your apparent weak mindset.
It's exactly what he's saying lol
Right? But so many people are falling for the okie doke in these comments it’s hilarious. It’s like some people think if they don’t break down on the stand and confess like in movies then immediate it’s an acquittal or hung jury. Hopefully the less intelligent who can’t see through him were weeded out.
That's the only defense he has. There's no other for him. Let's hope the jury see's right thru him.

SIDEBAR needs it's own channel. This is it's own thing:)
Just like his sister, it took years to develop this kind of deceptive behavior. Imo their Mother nutured this twisted sense of reality.
Something weird was said. They weren't close siblings when they were little but grew closer when older... Aren't young siblings usually close, and grow apart somewhat apart after time? This family seems so backwards, except the eldest.
Charlie lives on a planet far far away from here 😳
He is the smartest one in the courtroom. It’s sounds like when your kids lie to you and have a long drawn out explanation for every little thing.
The jury got it right-GUILTY
💯
Both Wendi and this sweet brother think they r something else Above the law completely. I can’t stand the two of them
This cross examination & your analysis of it seem a lot more effective than I originally thought.
His whole defense is Gaslighting the jury!
Exactly
Bold strategy. It didn't work out well, but it is still an awesome tactic.
It’s not that simple when dealing with a large dangerous gang. Prisoners don’t even rat on gang members in prison out of fear.
@@SunnyDays70slol. You don’t actually believe his story, do you? 😂
Exactly
I love this prosecuting attorney. Takes no BS from anyone.
Jodie Foster doing well in her post Hollywood career 😊
@@ryanlemmers5300she does!!! Was wondering who she reminded me of 😊
She's not very good. Bunch of theory questions. No facts.
@@RollinTrollin do you think he's innocent and why, or do you just think she sucks? Honest question 🙏
I don't think she's that good actually. Maybe with normal criminals, but not with a narcissistic manipulator like this guy
This lawyer does her homework. She is tearing him up, He dont even realize it. he is guilty as sin and so is his Mom and Sister.
Charlie is an expert at creating Scenarios - in evidence - needs to part of closing argument -
Agree
He’s a good liar
He's so arrogant IMO he probably believes his own lies. 😎
Excellent comment
You nailed it....best comment ive read about the cross...still hoping and expecting a guilty verdict next week
@@GerinPhils yeah it fortunately seems like a far fetched defense, but I’m hoping it hasn’t confused the jury is all.
I watched the sister on the stand, they all seem calm like nothing happened.
These North Florida attorneys shredded all those high priced Miami and New York attorneys 😅😅😅
I love this prosecutor’s style.
WTF
Me too. How did they get 12 dumba&& for Casey Anthony
@@joycepayne3505 It truly is beyond understanding!
This family comes across as psychopathic- way too chill and confident in such context
He doesn't show anger once at been charged with a crime he says he hasn't committed. No juror is gong to fall for this nonsense bull......
Thank you Jesse!
Georgia is phenomenal!!
The only thing I hear from this whole case, is that there are so many kids without parents now.
It’s small, but his saying to ‘rough someone up’ is just an adjective is wrong, it’s an adverb. The action is, rough (as in hurt) and it’s noun is, someone. Just saying, coz he was so smug and all.
good one :)
Anothrt fine example of him trying to be the right one even tho he was wrong. Typical narcissist
Georgia is BEYOND ASTOUNDING!!🙃🙃
Lol she's great..her sarcasm had to have been driving him crazy on the stand. A few times she even talked to him like he was a 5 year old 😄😄😄
💯
Why in the world would these "extortionist" kill Dan which is literally a problem for the Adelsons? Like they literally did them a favor by killing dan? But if like charlie says Garcia hates him SOOO BAD why not kill someone in his family ? Why kill Dan lmao it doesnt make sense they literally solved a problem for the Adelson family then extorted them? Cmon. Its too many coincidences.
This was great! Thanks for making this video.
This Madam Prosecutor is the Bozzzzzzzzzz. This girl is on FIRE. Just a Badazzz. They're presentations of doubt are not getting past her and into the jury's head. She presented a clever argument in this entire trial. Unshakable & Direct.
Great Attorney.
the state needs to give Georgia a big raise. She is flawless.
I love her inflections like “extorrrtioon? Orrrrr???” So sarcastic but professional I love it
Yes she is amazing

THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's crazy how Charlie couldn't even say Katie's last name?! Bamagaw or something he said. 😂😂😂
The DA doing this interview is just terrific.
Rock star
What a bizarre family.
Ya, he answers TOO quickly and doesn't stumble over sentences.
His life depends on his answers. People who normally BS in their daily life have no problem with this and are quick on their feet to not get caught. So no surprise here with him. I don't see how he is likeable at all though.
Is his name really Sick Fredo?
If I was convicted of a crime I did not commit, you’d have to RIP ME OFF THE CEILING!
