    I tried this treadmill for the first time today at my gym in sled mode. Thank you for the video, this will most definitely help me with attempting para mode. Great effort by the way.

    Nice,Request like this but it's a sled push please.

    Sounds like you're dying there! Effective workout! Does the waist harness create any discomfort while running?

      @TreadmillSprinter  3 года назад +2

      It was hard! But no, the harness was comfortable enough that I didn't even notice it.

    John, tu peux expliquer d'où vient la résistance ? Comment la résistance varie ? La courroie ne sert qu'à retenir pour ne pas aller trop en avant, non ?

    • @TreadmillSprinter
      @TreadmillSprinter  3 года назад

      Je pense que la résistance vient du moteur de 10 CV, le moteur faisant office de générateur. Cela serait similaire à la façon dont certaines voitures et bus électriques inversent les circuits lors du freinage pour laisser les roues régénérer la puissance et recharger partiellement les batteries.
      Le Skillrun utilise la même méthode de résistance pour les exercices de traîneau, et lorsque je monte la résistance du traîneau au maximum, je ne peux pas du tout tourner la ceinture.
      (J'ai utilisé translate.google.com pour traduire votre commentaire et ma réponse. Je me suis inscrit pour étudier le français pendant que j'étais au lycée, mais je n'ai pas bien appris. Je pense que c'était parce que nous avions un élève enseignant qui n'était pas t aussi bon que l'enseignant régulier.)
      ***QUESTION***
      John, can you explain where the resistance is coming from? How does resistance vary? The belt only serves to hold you back so you don't go too far forward, right?
      ***REPLY***
      I think the resistance is coming from the 10 HP motor, with the motor acting as a generator. This would be similar to how some electric cars and buses reverse circuits when braking to let the wheels regenerate power and partially recharge the batteries.
      The Skillrun uses the same resistance method for the sled exercises, and when I turn the sled resistance up to maximum, I can't turn the belt at all.
      (I used translate.google.com to translate your comment and my reply. I signed up to study French while I was in high school, but I didn't learn well. I think it was because we had a student teacher who wasn't as good as the regular teacher.)

      @@TreadmillSprinter Pour être certain de bien comprendre, tu entraînes toi-même le tapis en courant et la résistance est donnée par le moteur qui résiste plus ou moins à l'entraînement ?

    • @TreadmillSprinter
      @TreadmillSprinter  3 года назад +1

      En mode parachute, j'ai choisi la taille du parachute virtuel, qui fixe la résistance minimale. Ensuite, à mesure que je cours plus vite, le Skillrun augmente automatiquement la résistance, et lorsque je ralentis, il diminue la résistance, sauf qu'il ne la baisse jamais en dessous du minimum pour la taille du parachute.
      (translated by translate.google.com)
      ***QUESTION***
      To be sure you understand correctly, do you train the treadmill yourself while running and the resistance is given by the motor which more or less resists the training?
      ***REPLY***
      In parachute mode, I chose the virtual parachute size, which sets the minimum resistance. Then, as I run faster, the Skillrun automatically increases the resistance, and when I slow down, it lowers the resistance, except it never lowers it below the minimum for the parachute size.
