True Lies is the product when actors have chemistry between them and truly enjoy being around each other...it reflects on screen. Another movie from the 90's that's the same way is Maverick. You can't deny the chemistry between Gibson, Foster, and Garner.

Because True Lies turned out to be inferior to Terminator 2 (it is still a fun action movie); It failed to gross as much money as Terminator 2 as the result (500 million dollars VS. 375 million dollars worldwide).

Imagine if Tom Arnold and Arnold Schwarzenegger both had top billing... That would make for a confusing movie poster😂
    SCHWARZENEGGER.... ARNOLD
    ...... TRUE LIES.....
COMING SOON TO A THEATER NEAR YOU!
"Did ...did they put his name backwards?"🤔

We need True Lies 2 with them dealing with modern tech and coming out of retirement to maybe deal with an old nemesis.

How many bad reboots are going to have to come out before you realize that is a horrible idea?

@@mercuryredstone2235 I know you're right, but if anything, I think Arnold needs a proper send off for Harry.

Jamie vs Tia. That’s the real question.

So confusing with Arnold being the first name of the other actor mentioned. Tom would have been better, imo. ✌🏼

Pretty sure you've meant "brother-in-law" when you'd mentioned "brother" Robert Shriver. 😮

    Nothing "happened" to TL.
It came out on 4K and I bought and watched it.
    Any other questions? LOL

That’s really lousy what Eliza Dushku went through, at just 12 years old. I’d love to see Arnold S give that stunt coordinator a full beat-down. Like when they messed with his daughter in Commando.

Honestly I didn't know anything happened to it. I remember thinking it was an awesome movie when I was 11 and this hasn't made me feel any differently.

The only movie I have 3 copies of
    1) Original DVD (yeah, I had the VHS tape, but ditched that long ago)
    2) Spanish edition Blu-Ray (with English audio track), because it was the only way to get better resolution
    3) 4k Blu-Ray (JoBlo may grouse about the transfer, but I think it looks great)
