What Happened To Snake Eyes?!

When it comes to the name Brian De Palma, and the name Nicolas Cage, you'd be safe to assume the product of their collaboration would be a real conversation starter- and it is- but maybe not in the way they'd planned. De Palma's work in the 90s was maybe not as prestigious as some of his earlier career outings (Scarface, Carrie). Of course, Snake Eyes notoriously had a totally different ending and direction in mind which was completely changed in the film's final cut. The film does deliver in serving as a great vehicle for Nicolas Cage to chew some scenery and give a wonderfully committed performance.
