    What is your pitch when you walk into industrial big box businesses? Secretary is there and your target is the CFO, Controller, President etc.

      Hey, I am a local vendor and I am looking to put in a bid for the payment processing, who handles that?” They usually have a process for “bids from vendors” and because these are not as competitive they usually let you through

    Hello, I’m looking for advice and if I should contract with a company. The company is VMS Direct/ Reverse POS, where they pay the merchant to accept credit cards and a 4% fee is added to the final cost of the sale when the customer uses a card, the merchant gets a payback of 1% the rest goes to the bank, but the merchant makes money to take cards and only pays like 600 a month for the POS system and actually makes $8,000 a year with processing around $20,000 a month in cards. My question is have you heard of this and is it real. If so how to I approach the owner when I walk in the door to earn his business??

      I don’t recommend it. Surcharge regulations state that the service fee can not be greater than the cost of processing or 4% and if the merchant is getting money back, then the service fee is higher than the cost of processing by definition because it is generating a profit.

    Oh wow everything you're saying to do makes me nervous as fuck. I can't do all this shit. If I have to protect confidence I don't have and think of a million questions and cool guy things to say and ask people, which I can never think of in the moment, I guess I just have to give up right now. Fuck.
