- I wanted to make a real gaffi stick, the Tusken Raider weapon from Star Wars. Recently, it was featured in The Mandalorian where it did some serious damage and I wanted one of my own!

After last night’s Boba Fett episode, would like to see you revisit this project and make it out of wood 🪵 & metal like they show him making it from. Fire treated wood, metal bands hammered and wrapped around the tail spike and making woven grips
Bob: "I'm going to make these welds ugly on purpose".
I love the squeaky hammer noise! That made me laugh
Bob: "I'm not a real smith."
Loved the destruction montage at the end 😁😁😁
well, now that the second chaptor of the book of boba fett is out where we see it made out of wood, you should revisit this project!
If they're needing extras to play tuscan raiders on season 3 then at least you'll be prepared ;)

It would have been so easy to just remove the failed forge attempt...but I believe it's super important that people see that making stuff is never a straight line. :)
Home defense weapon.
Ok Bob, learning to draw out a taper at the forge is day 1 for young smiths. This should definitely be on your list of things to try. You'll find it's very easy, and will waste less material! (Draw your taper before bending the hook!)
The extra squeak was a masterpiece of editing.
