As for miss Labelle, this duet came during her heyday in the 8o's along with her hot dance number, NEW ATTITUDE. You might do a comparison of her original hit of LADY MARMALADE and later cover featuring, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Mya, 'Lil Kim & Missy Elliott. Both camps have their favorites. I worked at Kings Dominion in Richmond, VA in 1985 and when Patti came to perform that year the park was PACKED. So many people showed up for her they had to close it down. Amazing.
