From an Australian man's point of view this one of the best toy haulers I have reviewed. I like the fact that it is all aluminum, no wood to rot, the layout is one of the best I have seen, simple yet functional.
Thanks Wayne! Glad it fits your expectations! - Ben
“7,000kw generator”? Pretty impressive! That’s 7,000,000 watts. Just giving a little bit of hard time. I’m sure it’s not easy filming for the whole world to see. Good job. Impressive fifth wheel. Not many ATC dealers near me. Gonna look up IWS.
Gotta say, you did a great job in presenting it. That is an awesome toy hauler for sure. I particularly like the fact it had no slides and that track system. About the only real down side, to me at least, is the TV placement for if you're out and it ends up being a rainy day. Getting a good view of it if not in one of the recliners will be a pain.
Thanks Bill! Having no slides and the airline track really makes life easier for securing your toys down. Thanks for the feedback on the TV! - Ben
No slideouts is a huge letdown for me...
I know the TV was almost too high for you to move easily, but couldn't it be put further down on the panel to make it closer to us less tall folks? Looked like there was room lower to install...:)
Long term
Slide outs are a maintenance headache
You did a excellent job presenting that 5th Wheel, you were very detailed and you also did something that others seem to always neglect and that's price. IWS products appear to be so well built in comparison to everything else and the iPad that comes loaded with how to operate your purchase is unmatched and a stroke of genius. Job well done and I think you found your calling,
Appreciate the love! Glad you enjoyed it. - Ben
Probably the best fifth wheel manufacturers today.
Other than Spacecraft.
@@Iwssales sooo must be really expensive??
I am oddly attracted to this unit. Its built for exactly what it is intended for. No one is calling this "luxury" and it's not, but thats totally fine. I like the Industrial look of it. It is also very interesting that it has NO slides in it. This is clearly designed for someone who wants to spend their time outside not inside. I think what draws my concern the most (not just this unit but all 5th wheels), the front leveling jacks look so whimpy compared to the jacks on Class A diesels. Im sure they are fine but they just look so under sized . Great presentation! This is for sure a cool looking rig. LOVE the aluminum look.
I always look forward to IWS presentations. Well done Ben. Thanks.
Thanks Joe. Good to hear from you again. - Ben
Now that is how you present a product through a video. Great camera work , presentation and explanation. A job well done. And i also like the older dude who showcased the one with the garage out back. These are the people you want to buy from. They got your back !
good camera handling and nicely explained walkthrough.
Thank you Christian! - Ben
@Topanga Reyna For his first time on camera, he did a great job. Everyone thinks that standing in front of a camera and hosting a video is easy. Try it sometime... you'll be surprised, and you'll also appreciate other people's on camera performance a lot more.
Nice presentation for a first go. Sure, I'm a few months late, but never feel embarrassed about this. Good job, nice trailer!
Thanks Ben great video ! Beautiful 5th Wheel ! YES !
Appreciate the love! - Ben
Really thought out trailer. It's great the customer feedback is listened by the manufacturer. Great looking build!
Great looking toy hauler. I think this would also be a good residential 5 th wheel
Genetics are strong in Chuck's family...great review of a nice trailer...would love to see how a Jeep fits in there :)
Haha thanks for the comments! We should definitely look into showing a jeep in there. - Ben
This is my question as well.
Ahh, please correct me if I’m wrong, but a Jeep is NEVER going in there. Tow one maybe... but not inside. That’s a lightweight door, close to its Max GVW, the ramp door isn’t spec’d for the Jeeps weight and neither is the trailer. Motorcycles, a sport 4x4, YES. But s Jeep? No.
@@Erin-Thor My fat Commander has a weight about 4K pounds total, the wheelbase is about 9 feet so the one end would be in the trailer before the other axle got to the door. So I doubt it would be very hard to get a jeep in it. As fat as I am I would need to climb out my sun roof but that is not true for everyone. I think the Commander has one of the heaviest weights of current Jeeps and it is easily able to go in with a 6K gap on the weights of the trailer. It would go in the 28 foot one listed online also.
I bet my 48 2A would fit in there perfectly!
Just came across this video...I haul multi load cargo trailers out of Indiana...I've picked up at almost every manufacturer an I see first hand what each 1 does with quality...ATC is 1 of the best quality of trailers also great guys to work with
Great video man. These seem awesome and more heavy duty
You did a really nice job on the presentation. I love this trailer. I do a lot of motorcycle competitions and we typically travel with 4 guys. Needless to say, in and out of the trailer during the event tracks in mud and dirt. A toilet in the back would be appreciated to limit tracking mud into the living area. I like the fact that it is easy to clean. Just coming in to change when you are covered with mud makes a hell of a mess.
Nice job on this Ben and camera person. Nice trailer and nice to have an excellent presentation. Glad you like the Pointer Sisters also; I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it. LOL It will get easier to do these in time keep doing them you do a great job.
The most amazing 5th wheel I have ever seen....you did a great job commenting for your first time in front of the camera....very well done!!
You need to look at more on RUclips then...
Colaaah yea this trailer is not the best
I know this is nitpicking... but of all that wonderful design, and it is amazing, they missed an opportunity. The TV could be bigger, open space to the left above the cabinets, if the mounted a larger TV on that swing arm, it would be so much more functional! Just a thought!
No one watches TV anymore - this is 2020
That door is strong enough for me to bring my Kubota B2601 tractor with me!! And I was stationed at MHAFB in the early 2000’s. 391st Bold Tiger!!!
Love to see the 40' Thanks, GOD BLESS YAL. 😅
I really like what ATC has done with this video
I like this RV. Having been a full timer I know how well some RVs hold up, not to good. Ya it looks a little industrial but I'm ok with that. But the thing I really like is the weight or lack of it. Fully rigged out this thing is not going to be bad heavy. Which gives me a few more options on the truck end.
Hey Keith, its great to hear from someone that is full timing! You hit it right on the head. This trailer is going to tow great, and save your truck from towing such a heavy vehicle. Also give you more cargo carrying capacity. Thanks for the comments! - Ben
@@Iwssales what's msrp
Nice trail 👌👍 and u did very good on the video well done 👍👍👍
Appreciate it R j! - Ben
Very simplistic styling in that trailer. Nicely done.
Thanks Tim - Ben
Simplistic yes, but $114,000 for that...? I would expect a whole lot more for that price tag...
Relax a little bit, dude! Great video.
Congratulations on delivering a very informative video!
Thanks Duncan! - Ben
Fantastic review ! Only thing lacking of closet space in the bedroom would like to see tall full length closets for hanging clothing instead of the night stands (thinking full time) This is hands down the best fifth wheel on the market. Thank for the great walk around and review. Enjoyed !
Very very nice 👍 good job 👏
I appreciate the responsiveness to prospective customer or customer suggestions about features they would like and the incorporation of the more popular suggestions into the current model year. Three suggestions that I would like to make are a skylight above the shower stall and a fantastic fan that can suck out the steam that can vent the bathroom quickly and replace with fresh air after using the toilet or clearing out steam after using the shower. Also, a skylight in the living room kitchen area and in the middle and near the back in the toy hauler portion, would really be nice to get in that beautiful natural light; instead of artificial light all the time and save on electrical/ battery capacity and generator fuel use when off grid dry camping and not plugged into shore power. Most importantly, to me, is to have 4 season capability, to run the water lines within the structure of the RV, so you don't have lines freezing; even in the coldest weather, so long as your running the heater(s) in the living areas; that would give full functionality of the unit to have water for the shower, and sinks(both kitchen and bathroom), giving year round full use and utility and functionality for the owner...more and more RV'r's are full time year round; including winter and also there are the weekend warriors or those who take a week or two during Christmas/ New Years, who want to use the trailer for the winter for snowmobiling, ice fishing or ski trips. Please seriously consider asking ATC to make these suggestions for improvements, at least to be offered, as options. Thank you.
Thanks for the suggestions! I think those are good ideas. Also there is a Max Air Fan (Fantastic Fan) in the bathroom (: I didn't do a good job of showing it in the video. - Ben
@@Iwssales Maxx Air is 10x better than Fantastic fan
You did a good job. Gentle suggestion: completely retire 'ecstatic' and 'excited'. In fact, instead of saying 'We feel x about this' just stick to the details and let the viewer do the feeling. Cheers.
Good job Ben. Very interesting unit.
Thanks Joel. - Ben
Really like the little wheels on the bottom of the ramp door. Have seen some long 5th wheel toy haulers with dents in the bottom from steep driveways. No doubt ATC has the market cornered in durable, no rust, no rot, very sturdy rigs. I hope to see them branch into “softer”, less industrial and more luxurious models. Having a wall separating the garage from the living areas on the newer models is certainly a step in the direction I’m talking about. Things like a glass shower door, taller shower fixtures, dishwasher, larger cooktop and oven and a larger convection microwave to name a few specific features. I know the newer models offer a bedroom slide out, would love to see even more slide outs. With the superstructure being stronger and lighter I see no reason not to work on perfecting an all hydraulic slide system with opposing slides to make the kitchen area more spacious to hold the larger components I talked about earlier. My family was really focused on the Solitude, Momentum from GD and the Beacon, Ambition from VanLeigh till we saw ATC at the Tampa RV Show in 2022. We are so excited to see a manufacturer take durability and longevity to heart with this all aluminum superstructure. Never….never having to worry about rust or rotting wood is such peace of mind. Knowing that these rigs can handle the rigors of American highways without coming apart for potentially decades….is huge. No way you’re getting full time use for decades out of the fiberglass, wood and styrofoam construction methods ALL the manufacturers are currently using. However, when you look at the luxury appointments in a Solitude or a Beacon, I feel that is where ATC needs to go, even if only with a division of the company. Durability, peace of mind and luxury appointments….no one on the market currently provides this.
this is the best product I have seen in years!, is practical and cool. we need to see more videos about this product in action on the roads. I preferred solar panels and electric kitchen over propane. thanks!
Thanks Antonio! - Ben
He mentioned in the first part of the video that it has 200watts of solar.
Ecstatic !!!
Way to go Ben! You did an awesome job, hope to see you on more upcoming videos! 👍🏻 -Dustyn
Excellent Video.....🖒🖒...😎
Good Job!!
Thanks Sarah! - Ben
I beginning to see why you were in the back ground. No slideouts 👎
And toy haulers have been around for a while now. But were are so excited about it. Did I mention we are so excited about it.
I've sold RVs and owned several. This is by far the best manufacture of toy haulers on the market
Nice presentation, good info.
Thanks! - Ben
I really enjoyed your presentation!
Thank you for being so detailed giving the presentation a real shine!
I’ve been considering one of these for living in it!
What are your feeling did about it!?
Thank you! You are the best.
I finally got to see one in person, and the workmanship was good. I personally prefer a garage model, and slides, and hope ATC considers growing the lineup. I was surprised, though, that the axles were just hung from tabs, and not mounted in axle boxes. Nice presentation video, too!
Thanks for the feedback and the kind words - Ben
Try taking antacid for the nervousness it helps to catch your breath and I love the trailer I think this is the best trailer for the money beautiful
Amazing
Very cool and Todd guy is pretty sincere and trustworthy. I just can't figure out how much EXCITEMENT he has about this. It must be a lot because he's ECSTATIC about the outside, inside, cabinets, bed, the TV, the Happy Jack, he's even ecstatic about the awning outside. Over very ecstatic person. 😂😂 I'm sure he's just nervous being in front of the camera for the first time so he's doing his best. But he doesn't seem like very sketchy car salesman so I'd definitely be confident buying something from him as he sends to know a lot about his product that he is trying to sell. He did his homework. It makes be get excited about shopping for a 5th wheel with him as my salesman and I'd be ecstatic to drive one of their lot. I just have to save a ton more money first. 😂😂 Maybe I'll start with a Copart Flood damaged 5th wheel first and work my way up.
If like you say, you "wouldn't order the trailer without" any certain feature it should come standard. Now that's something I could be ecstatic about.
Nice job, nice toy hauler!
Thanks Larry! - Ben
@@Iwssales Your welcome! Happy New Year to you and your family. We enjoy watching the videos IWS produce and most of your coaches I believe are made in my state well north of us. "Indiana"
Anyone ever increase the speed on the video? It’s like giving an 8ball to the sales guy! It is tremendously entertaining. Cheers bro, ur gonna need a Kleenex. 🤠😎
This kid gets "ecstatic" a lot.
Very nice.
Great thorough walk-a-round. I had to look up what Equalizer panel did though. Guessing jacks & auto-leveling?
ATC are nice, almost never see a used one up for sale. But man... *$$$$*$
Love the rig, great presentation but, wonder why not install an instant hot water system (Truma or Alde)?
Would be cool to use this during long road trips on the go without taking a brake at all😁
anytime 12v access at bed/s would be nice for CPAP users when traveling and boondocking
Awesome trailer, I'm a fan. Good job on first time in front of the camera, but is amples a word?? Fun drinking game at least.
You did a great job. Never would have known it was your first time on camera had you not stated so. Just one correction. The video said, "This is a 7,000 kilowatt generator." That should be changed to either be a 7,000 watt generator, or a 7 kilowatt generator. Not trying to be overly pedantic, but a lot of people really don't know much about generator output, so best to clear that up as much as possible.
Great job on the review- you guys had that one built right
Thanks Ed - Ben
Awesome trailer. I hate that you dinged that cabinet door on the oven. No big deal tho', you always have to work all the little corks out of all new things in order to make it perfect.
Gostei do trailer muito bom simples i aconchegante
Obrigado por suas amáveis palavras Jose! - Ben
Great video as usual, to bad ATC has went down hill!
I was sold as soon as you said no wood. No having to worry about water issues, black mold, termites, and warping? Heck yeah! My only concern is how would it hold up in winter? Being all-metal isn't good for insulating against cold or heat for that matter. Also wished ATC had a curved/tapered front cap like most modern RVs. Makes sharp turns a lot less nerve-wracking.
How's the bumper pull compare to the Grand Design Momentum trailer? Great walk through - JB #imagnlife
Heard the guy say 3 season a few times. I know plenty of people wonder about a TRUE 4 SEASON MODELfrom ATC? What would it take? I had an epic freeze up plumbing fail when the auto start did not work on the generator in a class A. The only 4 season toy hauler seems to be artic fox and desert fox from Northwoods. Any word on a 4 season model?
You are soooooo amples exstaticsmaximums!
It’s very purpose built. Slides should be an option for garage with a couch for those who don’t need the wheel space and want more room for kids and rainy days.
Thanks for the feedback! - Ben
never mind ben I realized after replaying some of it back for that happy jack/bed as u call it realized and after seeing the controls @31:28 that that bed goes up n down that bars like on side that's how you raise n lower the bed thing stupid me had to relook real good 3xs to realize that lol so nvm on the commenting unless still wanna ben if see this
Great selection of your Generator.
Finally enough capacity.
Propane???
You need 4, 40s
I wish this had aluminum bump outs, for these prices I would think they would at leasts have one. Also, an option door / wall to separate the toy area, because we want to haul horses or toys, depending on the weekend, and they make kits to do so, would be nice to block off that smell. If it was removable that would be amazing. Love the ATC concept, I'll patiently wait until they add a bump out and back door, then sold!
What is this Bump Out that you are talking about?
James Glenn sorry, slide outs. For more room inside
Liked the video. Very nice toy hauler. I would like to know if you have any other options for the fridge not a big fan of the old style.
Sure get excited alot 😆 And what exactly is "amples amounts"??
Good
The idea of the trailer is great (no slides) with many practical ideas yet there was nothing for riding gear, helmets, boots, gloves etc to be stored. The storage you show is great and you have options for different configurations, some just couldn't vision those. I like the idea of the aluminum over the plastic/fibreglass/wood for strength and durability vs. the competition. If your feet get cold put on slippers this seems more about functionality than looks or even comfort. The front bed and that drop bed are going to be more comfortable than the optional equipment but better than nothing. I'm seeing issues with those electric drop style beds so that's a concern. And you showed where a W&D go but they would be more practical downstairs IMO. Otherwise an interesting unit and I've been checking out other ATC trailers as well.
Nice trailer, but you could only own one if you're gifted to be one of the elites.
Can you turn on the A/C and generator and let me know what the DB level is? On the 29' & 28' it was 68 DB which is way to high, I'm trying to find something in the 52-53 DB range.
they sure are excited lol
Great toy hauler.....is the microwave a convection oven also and is the toilet elongated? Price as seen in this video? Thanks for a great look at this trailer!
This might be a dumb question but can we fit a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Diesel. This specific model is 5,200 LBS, body width of 76.5 (about 70 with folded mirrors), body height of 69.3 (less when air suspension is at entry/exit mode), wheelbase of 114.8. Also, instead of a gas tank, could you guys swap it for a Diesel tank instead and change the Cummins generator for a Diesel one as well and add more sound dampening around it where possible? It will be towed with a 2020 RAM 3500 Limited (32,500 LBS Towing capacity). Please DM me if this is feasible. Thank you for this very detailed video.
Can you get a twin gas tanks for race fuels. And also, I have a ram 5500 flat bed with a hitch ball can I tow this unit with it with some type of extension? Thanks.
Price?
Wow, I’m impressed!
Is the roof Aluminiun also it be nice to have a divider wall between the living area and the toys
I have heard that the from caps as well as the ramps are not insulated on the ATC 5th wheels, is this true?
I'm ok with the industrial look. What I don't like is the tv placement. Needs to be near the living space.
Nice trailer but It needs a separate garage and 1/2 bath in the back garage as well. Washer hook up in the garage as well. Is this possible?
Nice. We have show dogs. It's a toy hauler or bunkhouse.
Great job . What kind of truck do you recommend to tow this Gem .? Thanx👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What I'd like to see: rounded edges on the nose cone (to help protect your skull, and quad cab corners on a short bed), an access side door for the garage, and an enclosed garage with either a sliding door or a walk door to the living quarters. Who wants to live with the contents and smell of the garage? Maybe your larger units have these features. Also- is the frame aluminum or steel?
I think those are good recommendations on the front nose. We can do an access side door on the garage. ATC is about Toy first, so having all that space for your toys is very beneficial. Having a wall would limit you. Also being all aluminum significantly reduces that gas smell from your machines. There is no wood to soak up that smell. Also there are two way Salem vents built into the trailer as your going down the road to help vent out the fumes. We haven't had complaints about the inside smelling of fuel yet. The frame is all aluminum. Thanks for the questions and comments! - Ben
good job body nice job
Kinda looks like a converted enclosed trailer to me but it’s nice looking
Basically is. That's why they can put heavy toys inside
If you can't tell, they are very excited about this.
What’s the weight capacity for the roof? The R factor for the under carriage, walls, front snd back??
How well does it hold up with the winter
Needs a slide or two or three beautiful unit people want more space get it together man then I'll buy one
3/4 ton or Dually to pull it.
Do they have the instant tankless water heater
FYI generator is 7000 watts or 7kw not 7000 kilowatts. Kilo means times 1000. 7,000 kw = 7,000,000 watts which is a little large for an RV.
Sorry, don't have 38 minutes. Nice rig. How many stacks?
Love it, can I get pricing?
No slides ?
Wow, you're really proud of that trailer! $114,000 for a basic 5th wheel...? Crossing this off as ever being an option...
Daniel Schoenfeld Yeah. A deal breaker. I can get a very nice Grand Designs TH for little more than half that price. And if they cost the same I would still pick the Grand Designs. Nice but no thanks.
Basic???? rotfl
@@reddymon Thats because they're junk that will show it in 5 years instead of a trailer with the quality of a commercial trailer
