    I'm addicted to watching these videos. This is "my dream RV". Holy Moly this has got EXACTLY what I've been looking for. LOVE LOVE LOVE that eating area. I'm a HUGE paper crafter, so this would double as my craft area. That storage underneath would be PERFECT for me; everything nice and close and tucked away as well. The natural light would be great for my coloring too. Now, I just need to get the hubs on board!

    2 major downsides that jump out at me: 1) the pantry has no means to keep things on the shelf except for that tiny lip on the front. Any emergency maneuvers you might have to make will dump all your food and canned goods right off, and right through that glass door. Not a mess I'd like to clean up. And 2) if you can recall riding in the back of the school bus when you were kids, the back is where all the bounce is, and that's where all your dishes and silverware are riding and bouncing? In addition, if you have to do a panic brake all of those front facing cabinet doors will fly open dumping all their contents. For these reasons I've always made sure that I had a center or front kitchen on my RV's.

    Just wish they made something like this and plus a bunk room for kids added into this camper, I think the best camper in my opinion is the 2019 Forrest river Salem grand villa 42dl, were a family of 6 including me we bought this camper for $58k it has the room, luxury, and it’s a all around camper, we sold are house to live the camper life to see the whole United States because you never know when your last day is and plus it’s a awesome experience for my kids to learn, see and be around history and different environments, right now we are spending are whole summer at Outer Banks, NC we are saving so much money by living in a camper instead of having a mortgage payment, electric bill, property tax payment, gas, etc. I took the opportunity to take the time to have a different career path so I could work anywhere and at home everyday when I was a steamfitter/pipe welder in my home state where I was stationary in a fabrication shop, so I thank God my family and I are free now being able to travel whenever and wherever we want to go.

    • @SuiteTravels
      @SuiteTravels  4 года назад

      I don't know why they built it this way for sure, but if you put hardwood in a slide you must trim it out on the ends. That leaves a "lip" on the slide floor (similar the the bedroom vanity slide) and if you have stools at the eating bar you run the risk of scarring the lip trim. With the carpet you have a smooth surface. It's all a preference.

      @@GiftHorse123 - Buy that truck with a towing package and decent options and you’re pushing $100k. New semis start on the $120k and go up to $170k for the best. Buy used 2-3 years old and you’re looking at $50-$80k. I bought a 2017 Volvo for $75k w under 200k miles on it. Semi’s aren’t as expensive as you think, and you can get them repaired quickly anywhere. You can easily get a million miles out of them, and while your Ford’s engine might possibly do it, the “truck” will never do it. Not to mention that a semi pulling a large 5th wheel is zero stress on the engine or chassis. But with the Ford... you’re pushing the envelope and taxing the engine and suspension pulling a 25k pound load. A Semi is built to pull 40k to 80k loads without even straining. I’m not trolling you, if you doubt me, look it up. Trust me, you’ll be happier with a $50k 2-3 year old used Semi than you’ll ever be with a New base model F350 for $70k, your maintenance will be less and your repairs will lower be too. You’ll be amazed at the ride, features and ease of driving one.

    My parents have had four motorhomes. They finally decided to go smaller. It was a pain to fine the large parkibg spaces that would acomadate a long home on wheels. Stopping at places along the road made it also hard. Restaurants was another problem parking...malls ...

As for the price of a luxe when those could be spending at least half to 3/4 of a million on the unit.

    • @SuiteTravels
      @SuiteTravels  4 года назад

      Actually Ron we did check on that. The bedroom cassette was on when we entered the coach and it was very comfortable inside the bedroom. We did notice that the main floor cooled off pretty fast after he turned on the main unit. It was in the mid 70s while we were there, so not overly hot, but the cooling units seemed to preform well. With the energy savings that the mini-splits provide we're really hoping that the industry moves in the mini-split direction. Thanks for coming along and enjoy the weekend!

    Very nice rear kitchen…but I had one years ago. Everything would bounce around and break in the cabinets. I hope that problem has been solved. Also… why is the dishwasher across from the sink? You rinse the dishes at the sink then carry them behind you to the dishwasher? Would make more sense if it was right next to the sink. Big living-room. I’d opt for less TVs and more cabinets. Same in the bedroom… I’d opt for a full closet and put the washer/dryer somewhere else. But overall some very nice features instead of run of the mill floor plan.

    You guys do have an awesome setup as do follow your You Tube videos! Great tour of this 5th wheel! OK, going to be honest here, $274,000 for this 5th wheel, really?? Doesnt even have ducted air from what I could see! This is crazy. You can get some fairly nice Class A diesel pushers for this! $274,000........WOW!!

    • @56hdrider4444
      @56hdrider4444 4 года назад +2

      The point on the AC units you see in this coach is that they are a Mini Slit system so there is no duct work but it's a VERY quiet and efficient system. If you don't want the Mini Split system they do the normal roof mount ducted system. We have the 3 normal AC units on our New Horizon and they do great but IF we ever did another it would be the quiet Mini Split system for sure.

    • @ronfeinberg

      @@56hdrider4444 Totally agree, the only reason I'd upgrade my '18 Majestic is to go for the mini-split AC

    • @SuiteTravels
      @SuiteTravels  4 года назад

      Hey Ramiro...the mini-split cassette is in place of the standard A/C that are usually installed in RVs. They are much more efficient than the standard A/C units and much quieter. Our hope is that someday all high-end RVs will be installing mini-split systems. You are correct, this coach is expensive, but remember that most folks that purchase them live in them full time - so it's their home. Thanks for coming along and really appreciate the kind words. We really do love our current coach...but really need a garage for the CanAm. Have a great weekend!

    Well, isn't this a home away from home. Love it! I'd make the vanity area in the bdrm a desk-like area (would use the bathroom for 'vanity' needs), get the smaller fireplace, and downsize the TV. Some might not like the number of people it sleeps, not really designed for family sleepovers...but maybe that's a good thing! 😉 A few smaller grandchildren would work, though, on the sofa. If had an extra 1/2 a mill sitting around, I'd consider it, but I don't, so I can't. Thanks for the view!
