A friend from Germany accompanied me to a dealership while I was looking at a similar RV. He’s a structural/design engineer with popular RV company and laughed at the RV. When he started pointing out the design and structural defects, the salesman turned beet red. He saved me from making a huge mistake. As a result, I had a customised RV made in Germany. Yes, I paid more, but it was worth it.
🤣🤣Reminds me of when my older brother years ago asked me to do a walk through of his new house and look for anything he missed. I did and did find a few things with the windows. At the time the company I was driving for delivered the windows he had and besides driving them to the store I had to help unload them. I got very familiar with how things were supposed to look and could quickly spot a defect. The installer(s) put in a couple of bad windows and I pointed them out to him.

Grand design still wins with customer service. Also sucks that river stone puts all the controlsin the front storage now you have to be much more careful what you put up there.
ya it is probably the pink carpet in places... But the 80's we never had laminate floors and and a big panel TV. ALL we had was 3 networks and UHF...on a 13 inch Black and White and the Antenna on the roof of the house. And back in the 80;s we had an Electrolux vacuum .. That is living.
This isn't really designed to boondock, you would have to run the Generator full time because there is no way the house battery can run all those 110ac appliances. Seems a logical design decision to me.
I agree with you. Never understood why Rock Wood put sinks in the middle. It's too clustered, no wheel chair access, no ramp for elderly visitors, in case of an emergency it will be hard to get out with a sink in the middle. Im looking for a good floor plan with a RL wide , wide kitchen enough space, sufficient space for a toilet, laundry room no sink, king size bed, 5 slide out and a patio. Also equipped with a generator 80 gallon gas tank, 50 tank water supply for a family of 6. Last thing no particle ply wood floor.
I watched a video of someone taking apart one of these so they could modernize, update, etc., these are made with very cheap materials and very little lack of design! Ugh!
Would like to apply 75% of the storage space for another room. Maybe a secluded space for bong ripping. Or a sound resistant dark room for day sleeping.
He's doing his job to provide a showcase of the details inside and out, I'd suggest just skipping to the interior bit of the video if that's all you're interested in
This is one of my favorite layouts. I'm not sure if they could accommodate if you ordered from the factory, but it seems to me a more optimal layout would be to put the sink and dishwasher in the far slide, then place a prep/dining table in the center with seating for four (maybe six with an insert). Where the two chairs are now, I'd fill with more drawers.
Yeah, I’d have to agree with a few others who commented. Only 1 bedroom….geez. That size/configuration, you’d think they could’ve put a 2nd bedroom/bathroom. Oh well.

Take a shot every time he says "beautiful".
I’m already 3-4 shots in for how many time the walls were 3” thick. I’ll do the beautiful one tomorrow 😅
Awesome does it come with f450 super duty meghan cab dully
I'm drunk
You want me to die?’
I've never heard the words "absolutely gorgeous," "massive," and,"3 inch doors" so many times in 14 minutes.
Now you have :)
Perfect paint job to match my team, the Florida State Seminoles! Tailgating with this would be awesome.
xD I was thinking the same
The stylist must be stuck in the 80’s, the interior looks absolutely dreadful. It’s 2020! It needs an HGTV overhaul...am I right?
ya it is probably the pink carpet in places... But the 80's we never had laminate floors and and a big panel TV. ALL we had was 3 networks and UHF...on a 13 inch Black and White and the Antenna on the roof of the house. And back in the 80;s we had an Electrolux vacuum .. That is living.
I quite like the style, it's more classic and warm
Remember almost all of these larger ones have different trims available.
White, brown and gray. Clash.
It’s my dads style, andI’m 61!!!, where is the option to be in the 21st century on design?
That's a super nice RV! I love it.
Don’t know why this was in my recommendation but I was not disappointed.
Beautiful, beautiful electrical sockets
Beautiful, beautiful light switches
No generator included? Wth
Yeah, at this price/feature level, you'd think the gen would be included.
This isn't really designed to boondock, you would have to run the Generator full time because there is no way the house battery can run all those 110ac appliances. Seems a logical design decision to me.
I think it runs on nuclear power.
I think I could live in this one all the time. This one is a beauty.
Sooo... When the bed in in down position, you loose space in the garage area? Leave garage items outside when sleeping?
I agree with you. Never understood why Rock Wood put sinks in the middle. It's too clustered, no wheel chair access, no ramp for elderly visitors, in case of an emergency it will be hard to get out with a sink in the middle. Im looking for a good floor plan with a RL wide , wide kitchen enough space, sufficient space for a toilet, laundry room no sink, king size bed, 5 slide out and a patio. Also equipped with a generator 80 gallon gas tank, 50 tank water supply for a family of 6. Last thing no particle ply wood floor.
Comes from the Factory with leaks as a bonus if its raining!
Yep. Forest River quality 🤮
We call the leaks indoor waterfalls, thankyou
@@aquariandawn4750 AKA Walk thru shower.
That's not a fifth wheel. It's a seventh wheel! Dang! This thing is a beast! I want!
The interior looks like it was designed with cheaply made materials.
I watched a video of someone taking apart one of these so they could modernize, update, etc., these are made with very cheap materials and very little lack of design! Ugh!
And very little if no insulation, etc.
There all made that way
These things are DESIGNED to take your money.
Very nice.....
Very interesting to look at....
Very expensive.
I couldn't afford the dirt on the tires.
@Phil Mysack
@Phil Mysack..so it would be better and more profitable to leave them on the lot.
Would like to apply 75% of the storage space for another room. Maybe a secluded space for bong ripping. Or a sound resistant dark room for day sleeping.
Please get to the inside quicker, you lost me being so long winded ✌️
I adjust the playback speed to about 1.75, and that solves the problem.
Maybe if your snooch wasn't so busted you would be less cringe
I start the videos and then go and make coffee. By the time I get back it's the bit I like to watch.
He's doing his job to provide a showcase of the details inside and out, I'd suggest just skipping to the interior bit of the video if that's all you're interested in
This is one of my favorite layouts for a full time RV.
How many people hit their head on the cabinet getting up from the toilet?
My wife would never want this just based on how dark it is inside. Cool Land Cruiser at 7:15
This is one of my favorite layouts.
Oh well.
He said the manufacturer doesn't like putting sinks in the slides, it's problematic. But it would be a good solution if possible.
Real nice! Would love to find something of this quality in something smaller and not a toy hauler.
Man I love this RV it's one of my favorites
You open the empty storage compartments, but simply call out the other bins. You should open them all,to show the set up.
Hello everyone from Ron Hoover RV & Marine. I hope you all are doing well. Great review of a lovely RV. Hope to see all my old friends again someday soon.
When making trailers like this at what point do we say enough is enough. Is it when we have a whole building on wheels that we step back and say yeah I think that's big enough!?
I think the sink in the middle is perfect for such a small kitchen all the counter space is better than my own kitchen witch I wish I had so I like it 🧚
I'd use the garage for my soaping studio.
3:50 disc brakes!!! holy!!🥲🥲🥲
I loved the inside as I have the freedom to decorate as I please with accent colors.
