THEY MESSED UP... Not trying to be negative, just giving some constructive feedback and hopefully manufactures will listen. With an 18,200 lbs GVWR, the cargo capacity is only 2,595 lbs. This should either be a triple axle setup or come with 9,000 lb axles. The unit includes three 40-lb propane tanks, which, when filled, weigh 85 lbs each, totaling 255 lbs. Adding a full fresh water tank adds another 625 lbs. No one keeps the original mattress, not even the 8" memory foam that comes standard, so let's add 150 lbs for a replacement. If a buyer opts for the 5500 Onan Generator, that's another 288 lbs. After all that, you're left with just 1,277 lbs of cargo capacity. That’s nowhere near enough. As full-timers, we have over 3,500 lbs of cargo weight alone. It seems like every manufacturer designs these units with minimal cargo capacity. This is precisely why we own a toy hauler-to get the extra cargo weight capacity. Wish a manufacture would be a non-toy hauler to hold some cargo capacity. Love the set up and the layout though, they did a pretty good job on the setup.
i mean being as im blind and on disability i hope to one day be able to get into something like this as a home with the upgraded solar package itd be great for me and my dog.
This is a thousand times nicer than my apartment lol only thing I don't like/wouldn't use would be that cutting board by the garbage... I like to clean my cutting boards properly lol
Hey JD, I hope that you're having a great day! I really like this new 2025 Jayco Pinnacle38FBRK fifth wheel with full body paint! I like what they are doing on the inside of this unit. I like that they give you separation between the kitchen and living room. I like that they are using solid hard wood for all the doors, cabinets, drawers, and their slide-out facial boards. I like the sectional sofa ,and the modern ceiling fan in the living room. They are giving you two pantries with adjustable shelving which is amazing. You get a great kitchen sink plus a dishwasher! The master bathroom is spacious an you get a large shower with two sky lights and amazing shower fixtures. You GWT a large half bath for your guests to use. Jayco is giving you a upgraded mattress in the master bedroom. They are doing it right! Thank you JD for showing us and giving us all the information on this Jayco Pinnacle! Your number one fan an friend Leonard from North Carolina.
I've owned 3 Jayco's. Currently in a '21 North Point. Totally satisfied with build quality and one of the industry's only 2+3 warranty. Wasn't planning on another at this point in time until I saw the new full body paint schemes. That thing is sick!
I about did a spit take when you said "4G WiFi router already built in, but it's pre-wired for 5G which really nice and that's going to save a lot of time when it comes to swapping that out to 5G if you want to." 😂 Pre-wired how? Saving how much time to swap out? As a computer guy I think someone sold you on some magic beans... To swap, it would be as simple as to unplug old from power, maybe disconnect an external set of antenna wires (if equipped) and then plugging in the replacement. What is pre-wired other than what the old is already connected to? To me that would be almost the same as saying "Faucet already built in, but it's pre-plummmed which is really nice and that's going to save a lot of time when it comes to swapping that out if you want to." 😂 Best, -Mark
For whoever is narrating the RV tour.....the large closet behind the master bath has what looks like cedar in the area where clothes hang. Cedar is a bug repellant especially moths. People pay to have a cedar a lined closet put into their home.
I absolutely love it. 👍 The only thing (IMO) that would be a possible problem is that outside paint job because it’s so dark. I think it would attract the sun more than other paint jobs. But, I do like that paint job. It’s beautiful.
We have a 2024 Pinnacle 36FBTS that’s going back to the factory for a slide/ structural repair. They make beautiful RVs but missed the boat on my slide system.
We’ve been in our 2024 Pinnacle 32RLTS for almost 3 months now, full time since retirement… We love this thing, it’s like an apartment on wheels. We started in SW Arizona, now in northern Virginia, can’t wait to see what’s next….
I’ve been living in my 2017 Pinnacle for seven years now and mine doesn’t have the Gwvr of this coach. And we live fine in it. It sounds to me like you might need to get rid of some stuff. And the 8000 pound axels sound about right considering that much of the weight is over the tow vehicle.
Looks like it is a low rider. I am not big on the shiny look of the gloss paint, prefer instead satin paint. I really do like the cutting board with the trashcan below it. Love the master bath, shower, and the amount of storage in there. The closet on this thing is just absolutely amazing!
Would love to see a single or couple 25' trailer or shorter with luxury appointments. I don't understand why its so hard to do that. There are plenty of us couple or singles who don't to or can't tow this kind of rig behind us. We still would like to unhitch and drive locally rather than tow a vehicle.
I sure would love to have a bed slide that actually had real nightstands big enough for a CPAP machine. I know it would add weight and cost more but I have NEVER seen a bed slide do that.
I've always liked the triple propane can setup jayco uses on their higher end 5th wheels. It's not often you see a towable with the propane storage of a large motorhome.
I think it’s stunning! Hubby is the one that makes sure the numbers are good wrt weights and the ‘mechanical stuff’. My things I look for are storage, usability, and aesthetics. I think this one hits it out of the park, although my eyebrows did go up a bit at only 2500 lbs of storage weight. I have a suggestion for the manufacturer for the bedroom. I acknowledge that the walk-in closet looks great, but why are RV bureaus so wimpy? I get that they need to be more shallow, but what about the empty space on each side? Why not go higher? Either, or better, both of these suggestions would make a big difference.
I hope Jayco does a better job building this than they did my Jayco Eagle. My 12V Dometic fridge has gone out twice. The 1st one lasted 3 months. The next one 6 months without any working lights...now I have 3 refrigerators taking up space. They refused to replace to replace the 2nd fridge that was 7 months old when it gave out. Our toilet leaked(becauss the use glorifiedgarden hose material for plumbing)...our kitchen window leaked and caused water damage. The storage door behind my TV broke (what kept it closed was a tiny magnet.) When you travel your supposed to have something to hold that heavy door closed...we have nothing. There is basically cardboard on the side of that TV door...it came apart. That same door scraped the bottom of our floor badly. The faucet to the shower leaked. This is supposed to be all weather RV. When we took the faucet off...there isnt ANY insulation anywhere but some plastic spray on the floor... Cuz we could see the framing. The light above our oven is winking out. We had to buy a shut off valve to our drain tank (all three tanks, one black & two grey, drain in one place.) So there was no shut off valve placed on that central line where the black tank drains too. 🙄 Pretty nasty! The doors to our master bedroom were hung with one screw... and we have to fix them. The screws to put in the bottom bunk come out to the inside kitchen. Our sink fell through and that had to be fixed. In the master bedroom one can see daylight coming through the bottom of where the wardrobe is. One of our drawers broke in the master bedroom and one drawer broke in the kitchen. The drawer below the oven (where I keep pots & pans...recently broke) we had to rewire the main plumbing as garden hose material (used for plumbing) didn't hold up in cold weather (rememberthis is sold as an all weather RV.) The plumbing is all now PVC as it should be. The back of our kitchen wall is coming apart...yeah we gotta fix it. Part of the slide is gonna have to be fixed. We need to caulk around almost every window frame. We are out $3,500 currently and still have things to fix. We never received the table nor the outside grill. Warranty? What a joke. Many Jayco dealers refused to honor the warranty if we didn't buy our rig from them. All of this broke before the RV was 16 months old.
Looks like they took a Luxe and said how can we give this a nicer feel for less money? Pretty cool for that person that wants a Luxe or something similar but without the budget.
I am looking to buy one now as the main insurance companies i Florida have abandoned their clients here. I can get renters insurance on an rv with no problem and still get my discount for being a home owner. I am selling my house before my insurance company abandons me and i find i can't find another insurer.
Beautiful. Thanks for the video. I wish the main bathroom was not in the bedroom because everyone has to walk through. The front looks low to the ground. Thinking of driving and road bumps.
The only thing I didn’t care for in the kitchen was the lower corner cabinets. I have a similar set up in my kitchen at home and I don’t like how hard it it to access the stuff in the back of the one cabinet. This would be the perfect spot for either a Lazy Susan or a hybrid shelving unit that rotates out for better access.
Raise the rear kitchen to increase outside storage. Then it would be prefect. Of course the raised rear section would need to be extra re-enforced to avoid frame and wall issues.
It’s Jayce I just know them as Junkco I just can’t wrap my head around it. $100k for machinery for dovetail is not really an investment for a company that big. But good for them for improving quality.
Like to seen lazy Susan cabinets shelves that’s pull out for the corners of the stove. Easier to reach your items. Half bathroom nice to see pull out the cabinets drawer. Full bathroom was suprised not to see a medicine cabinet. Nice to have more drawers.
Jayco needs to look into their kitchen setup. Two corner cabinets with no lazy Susan's inside for access? All pantries should have drawers. Although I thought this kitchen was stunning, as he walked through it i quickly realized I'd never want to actually try and work in it.
I feel like the RV world is taking hints from the brick and mortar world. I'd like too see this go both ways (pantry). It's very nice. Fantastic even. Would still suck too live in. I find this stuff way cool and wildly impressive, but the cost... Cost always a factor for me. My wife and I want a smaller trailer for our annual beach trip. They are expensive. We want too be comfortable but that's just it. Comfy. Need smaller more affordable options.
Overall, it’s a gorgeous fifth wheel. My Jayco Eagle 5th wheel has a larger pass thru storage. Could be a limiting factor for some people. It also seemed a little tight around the bed. You bet I would trade……if I had an extra $100k plus a dually 😳😂.
Now keep in mind I am just an ordinary person matter fact, just a trucker, but after watching RV videos since about 2009, I think luxe does this type of unit on the regular not to diminish the pinnacle but personal opinion the pinnacle it would be like Mount Rainier and Lux would be something like K2 or Everest what say you folks I say that respectfully I only own a Ford Ranger 2021 so it looks like I’ll be getting one of those bumper pulls just saying
Beautifully painted and decorated fifth wheel. One tiny thing I noticed though, as some who’s been living out of a 5th wheel for the last year, I wouldn’t hang more than a couple T-shirts on those thin closet rods. Also, as someone mentioned previously, cargo capacity seems a tad low for such a nice large unit. Thank you for the video!
The pull out table is excellent. LOTS of storage everywhere. Far more so than most large RV trailers I've seen on this channel. 'Ideal for pack rats. >;)
@rob9675 we've just purchased our 38fbrk '25 model with the same exterior paint job as this one (except the front cap, which is grey in the video, is black on ours), and inside, all of the lower cabinets in the kitchen and half bath are not white, but a dark gray gloss color. The two tone is amazing and breaks up the monotony of the white everywhere. We are extremely pleased with our purchase for full time living.
Are the windows dual pane? I would love to know about the insulation and how thick the walls are and if the underbelly is insulated as well as the top? Also is the underbelly heated? It's really a shame they didn't put a bigger dresser in the bedroom.
Going to one sink and more counter space and storage is something everyone else needs to go back to. Double sinks is SUCH a giant waste. Not once, ever in my life, have I needed to brush my teeth at the same time as someone else...much less in a camper. But EVERY time (every day), I need more counter space and (more storage).
You mentioned the extra support in the frame (lager I beams and gussets in the front) and that they haven't had any issues with their frames. Is this in the Pinnacle only or through out their 5th wheels? Where can I find this information? You would think they would be advertising this like crazy with all the frame drama lately??? This helps gives me a bit more confidence that someone is actually addressing the problem if this is true.
High gloss is pretty on the slides and cabinets but it looks like it would show fingerprints the way glass does. I don't want anything that creates more work. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has experience with it.
I plan to buy one and live in it so will not be moving it around. I am out of the country most of the time so do not want to have a house payment or pay rent for something i rarely use.
I’m wondering why some of the 2025’s have all white kitchen cabinets and some only have white on the top, some have white backsplashes and some colored, and some have white tv/fireplace wall and some are brown? We’re special ordering one with black/silver paint and extras, and I want to make sure we get this exact interior. We saw 2 this past week, and neither had a backsplash in the bathroom, one had a white backsplash in the kitchen, and both had a brown tv wall. I’m so confused 😅
Can you start saying how tall the shower area is? It’s rough for tall people to decide if an RV will work for them. Any advice for a 6’6” tall person? That wants a luxury RV for full timing? We love the new River Ranch 393 RL for storage and height but the finishes aren’t there.
Very nice but i want an rv that has room for a full size washer and dryer. Front loading washers have a problem with leaking around the door so i want one that loads on top. Also only one bedroom for this model ?
My wife loves these. Jayco really stepped up their game. But, how’s the bulls quality compared to a RiverStone? I’ll take durability over fancy any day. My wife, not so much.
Uggh.. I owned a Jayco Northpoint and though the layout of this coach is similar to our 2020 Riverstone 43RKFB it misses on the washer and dryer in the front closet. Expand the half bath and put a all in one combo unit in there and have a closet that is JUST for clothes. Very nice unit but still misses ever so slightly for full time living..
Has Jayco fixed the issue with delamination of the outer walls? I have an older bumper pull and I've seen so many with the outer walls bubbling and peeling from the underlayment.
@8:43 $100,000??? Somebody is pulling your leg! The most professional Dovetail machine which makes half-blind dovetailed joints which is what those are (in bulk) are only $3700 and that machine is overkill for those little bitty cabinets. A $3700 machine could easily make dovetails for 75 RVs in one day.
Hello sir. So I was emailed a response from a company that manufacturers industrial dovetail machinery. He says the type of machinery that would be sold to this type of manufacturer would indeed be close to $50k. They likely would buy 2 to keep the process flowing in the event of a failure. He said a $3000 machine would give out at max production and start damaging runs/cycle after a few days at the volume Jayco would be running through it. Not sure if this is true, but it's from a legitimate source.
@@BTBRVReviews That sounds about right. It's always more expensive to make a machine that is designed to run all day every day for years vs something for a wood shop that isn't part of a production line.

Jayco includes the weight of propane and batteries in the base weight, so that does not take away from the rated cargo capacity.
You should be selling these 😅

Oh my JD! Jayco has picked up their highline game and knocked it out of the park! Love this RV!
Yeah, that’s our new trailer. Love it.
My favorite home on wheels seen to date!!! Simply gorgeous and incredibly functional residential 5th wheel. Thanks for the tour.
Wowza! 🥰 Dishwasher, a DESK, sweet bathroom & closet AND a hidden area for anything you might want handy but but out of sight! Just awesome! 👍🏽😎
AWESOME I would love to see that one up close. Thanks for the tour!
That’s just absolutely beautiful. I do think they should have used 9k axles to allow for more storage for full time use but it’s a nice step forward.

I love it!!!
Beautiful RV
It reminds me of the RS Signature. Same colors and ‘European’ shiney look.
High gloss is pretty on the slides and cabinets but it looks like it would show fingerprints the way glass does. I don't want anything that creates more work. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has experience with it.
Very nice unit, but there's not enough storage. Where do you put your kayak, outside kitchen etc
Serious question. Do the people that buy these go from spot to spot? Or is this something you buy to park semi-permanently and then live in?
Wonder if they still have a lot of issues with the Jayco Rv’s? This is the first I’ve seen in the full body paint, and it’s gorgeous!
Beautiful rig. Only drawback for me is that the spare tire is underneath. Needs to be stored in basement storage
@texillini1: Good point about putting the spare tire in basement storage...except there is no basement storage.
My only concern is the 2500 lb cargo capacity. You add anything like a generator or full solar system and you hardly have any room left
That’s really beautiful.
My wife loves these. Jayco really stepped up their game. But, how’s the bulls quality compared to a RiverStone?
I’ll take durability over fancy any day. My wife, not so much.
The other to unites look nice from the poster looking forward to seeing the videos if u make them
Thats niceee❤❤
Has Jayco fixed the issue with delamination of the outer walls? I have an older bumper pull and I've seen so many with the outer walls bubbling and peeling from the underlayment.
Wow just wow
Absolutely beautiful love to know the price
