Yeah usually smaller spaces have way more efficient layouts out of necessity, on larger spaces designers or architects feel more comfortable and usually don't think as hard on where to save space.
Agreed. This was clearly built out for a specific purpose so it's not what most of us would want, but if you are only using it for a few days while a race is going on I can see it being quite useful.
The kitchen seems a waste on something so big. I've seen bigger on a transit conversion (bar the washing machine!). Planning on getting deliveroo i imagine!
Thought the same. I think it's purposeful: Not a comfy home-away-from-home. But a purpose-built high end solution for portable living, for a large crew of...something? Race crews, broadcast, event personnel and such. For those purposes, clinical is better. Larger audience for potential clientele and renting. Easy to disinfect and clean daily, and between 'assignments' for lack of a better word.
I’ve seen bigger fridges in camper vans. Seems odd to have such a small fridge in a three bedroom motor home. In fact, all the utilities in the kitchen seem very small, like they were made for a tiny home or something.
This is only used in a race track paddock. The team ( Suzuki in this case ) have a full kitchen hospitality catering truck with a fully enclosed awning and seating for around 60 people.
@@CityWhisperer They can make it a damn curtain. I agree with the other guy. If you ever have a visitor, even just someone coming up stairs to call on you, you want to shit in front of them? They can put a wardrobe up they can hang some noise insulated foam walls or something, anything.

I used to deliver the F1 trailers to the teams, they are just a standard size trailer closed up so you wouldn't find it too difficult to get into your local campsite. This was over 10 years ago and they cost over £1m each then, so you can imagine the spec and finish they had.
Quite incredible! It seems to be set up for practicality. I can imagine what this would look like if the interior was set up like a proper yacht. Thanks, Nick!
Great for what it was intended a race support unit. I particularly like the blinds moulded in the windows I’m surprised the marine industry hasn’t picked up on this I could see them used in boats. Good review as always Nick
As you said absolutely amazing. Very comfortable looking but also very corporate. Ingenious how it all folds up. The shower upstairs puzzles me how it collapses. Thanks for bringing this one to us.

The design is a study in simplicity. The engineering represents the pinnacle of unrevealed complexity. Beyond mere "clever" this imbues the ethos of a NASA Certified Vehicle. And there is no "compression of implementation" either - no cup holders in the toilet seat that converts to a table. Areas requiring space for full function and proper esthetics are issued that space without compromise. As form followed function, craft was the driving force. Despite my obvious ramblings, I'm left speechless. Nick, the folks you know at Rioja have really done it with this one!

Brilliant idea for motor home, as class 1 driver it would be perfect for me. I would change layout for more practical one, but nice tour and thanks for showing us this little gem.
In North America this would be called a 5th wheel trailer as Motorhomes have engines (motors) & self propelled. You would not be able to move this with a Fiat or Volkswagen & a tractor would be a must. I consider this an innovative design but certainly to purposely built specifications & not for a family vacation. Great job Nick in bringing the unusual to your Chanel.
Thank you Nick what a nice moterhome indeed this week and what a nice show you giving us this week yesterday a supermarine swordfish on Aquaholic and today on Motaholic a 2 story moterhome wauw thank you again
It is built for exactly what it is meant for, the use of a pit crew a driver/rider/owner on race circuits. Defiantly not a holiday home but I would imagine over a few seasons instead of paying for board and lodgings for a whole crew the cost of the motorhome would pay for itself. Ideal for a group of men to crash out in have a few jars and a take-a-way, watch tv before going to bed.
Great vid as always Nick. Only thing missing is a spiral staircase from the balcony or inside, up to a roof garden...... all that space wasted up there! Then the mansion would be an estate! Then you could have said "and gardens, in places like this"!

Congrats on a hundred minion views, well deserved ,I might add, I was looking at another tour by someone else on a boat, I read the comments ,someone was asking where's Nick, I thought that was great. Well done Nick.

Hermano nick muy buenos días espectacular para vivir como en el paraíso .gracias por tus excelentes videos y que dios te siga bendiciendo hoy mañana y siempre a ti toda tu familia
For what it’s worth, this is not a “motorhome” as it does not have a motor and is not self-propelled. Calling this a motorhome is like calling a canoe a motorboat. This is a trailer. In the USA it is referred to as a “5th wheel” (trailer) because of how it is connected to a tow vehicle. The generic term used here is “Recreational Vehicle” (or “RV” for short), whether motorized or towable. Folks here use things this size RV for “recreation”, but we RV “resorts” that cater to very large units. The unit you are touring would, however, more likely be used by a movie star as a place to live while on site for filming.
They really missed an opportunity for entertainment. Could you imagine rocking up to the caravan park and unfolding your transformer, lol! (They really should have painted it up like Optumus Prime!) You’d have the whole park standing there with their gobs hanging open 😝 😯 It’s fantastic for its intended purpose though. That would be so cool, getting out of your supercar then wandering over to your portable house.
Big? Yes.. Awesome? Yes.. If I could afford this you better believe I would be taking this to the campsite. I'm waiting for you to do a tour of the French camper (beauer). It expands 3 times it's size at the press of a button. This is my favorite camper
Astounding! Thanks you, Nick. So this is how Sir Lewis Hamilton, etc spend their time race-trackside. To those who dislike the interior, we should remember it is very masculine and temporary - designed for motor-trackside use. The star racer atop and some of his staff below. But, of course, when spending this sort of money one ca n configure (or reconfigure) the interior to suit. I mean, I would buy a cheap, crumbling dwelling on a small plot to live in but park this on the plot and really spend my time in this. First change? Put anti-slip treads on the stairs to assist my aging dog :) Or, of course, one could simply demolish and build quite a good place for £0.5m (having already acquired said land, of course). Now, if I can have that E-Type from the Silverstone Auctions (Nov 2020) vid about an Airstream and this vehicle - main bedroom, guest bedroom, office would be my set-up then I'd want nothing else (to paraphrase Fr Dougal to Fr Ted).
I'm speechless Nick. It's not just a home from home, it's almost like a hotel on wheels. Goodness me. Wow, wow, wow, wow. It's either a hotel or a motorhouse not motorhome lol

Yeah usually smaller spaces have way more efficient layouts out of necessity, on larger spaces designers or architects feel more comfortable and usually don't think as hard on where to save space.
Its made for staff at concerts
That’s for poor people… when you are rich you don’t care to have a kitchen inside 🤣
The TV's should have been built in so they could be lowered & raised into the shelving.
Why?
I appreciate this for what it is, clever design structure however the interior is very clinical in my opinion and a bit of a strange layout in places.

I think it's the white cabinets. If they were a natural wood look it'd have much more of a homely feel to it. Hell, even black would be better.
@@thomsallen5989 what kitchen 😂 that refrigerator is a joke...all that room and ability to house others but yet a dorm room size refrigerator 🤔

I like the idea and would love to see some layout options, but having the toilet open is a no-go. The toilet definitely has to be in a separate room.
the upstairs one? it cant cause of the dropdown
@@random_an0n They can make drop down TVs, they can make drop down walls. Some sort of partition can be used.
@@grondhero Actually the TV needs to be manually placed somewhere else not to be crushed - at least on this particular motorhome.

It's rare to find double glazed windows in planing boats due to the weight.
They sell those types of blinds for residential here in the US at Home Depot...and I believe Lowes as well.
