I am part of the Warframe Creator program, which provides me with most of the new things released with every update. With this I can focus more on content creation, and less on farmin. For this I'd like to thank the development team at DE, community managers and the whole community, which made this possible. Thank you! :) - Игры
Just a small correction
The segment is sold at rank 2
I think it was for a short time removed from R4 to R2 and now it seems to be at R3. I did buy it right away at 2 and rushed it before they shifted it again, lul.
@@CurrentlyAimlessI'm R2 and can buy it once I get enough rep. Player starts at R0, not R1, might be the confusion source.
2 violet shards on Garuda and everything is a chop cheese the Ock way.
Important note which i find kinda weird no one has stated. You can not separate the shards once you combine them. I made 3 tuaforged orange for qorvex. Not happy with the investment and would rather just stick with the plus 15 ps.
But im sol
Thank for your warning Im gonna test that with normal shard before All-in with Tauforged one
@@gaysuchannel8215 👍👍
I think you down played how good some of these can be especially with helminth and companion reworks recently. Violet Archon shards basically have like a rank 3 equilibrium mod that you cab throw in any frame without having to change a build. I we see some real intriguing and unique builds to come
I agree with you and changed my mind a bit. The builds eith only one violet shard could be enough to make some of the warframes fully functional and freeing up one mod slot.
Wonder if they will add more in the future for stuff like Ice damage. Could easily help out frost and a few other frames that due use ice in their kit. Just wishful thinking is all.
Got the inbox message from Loid about the new segment and got so excited I rushed to grind all the mats for this and started crafting it. I just started it and decided to check out a youtube video about it before clicking that lovely Rush option. This video instantly deflated my excited lol. From his message I thought we would be able to combine normal shards into Tauforged Shards but unfortunate they didn't do that because it would have been far more useful. After farming these (almost) every week since they were released I only have 5 Tauforged shards total because apparently I have the worst fucking luck in existence. Got enough normal ones that I could build a house out of them at this point.
Well DE said in the last dev stream that we will be able to fuse 4 normal archon shards into a Tauforged shard soon!
corrosive shard for hydroid, violet electric for gyre, yeah they are very warframe specific, build the shard when you are confident with the shard integration
For hydroid ur much bettter off just using red shards for strength and duration than any of those ... belive me ima hydroid main
Violet seems very very good the other seem way too situational but regardless useful one way or another
The Topaz "recover health" is terribly worded. It seems like it increases your max health, it's not health regen. It could be ok for longer missions as it gives double what a blue +health gives you (450 vs 225 hp) but it takes time to stack.
Also the mini equilibrium may be good enough with just one shard if you have synth deconstruct depending on your energy needs. You'll have tons of health orbs and even with 30% instead of 110% just having the effect should be a bunch of energy.
Whether it's a bug or intended, the Equilibrium shard is back to the old mod behaviour of not picking up health orbs on max health. Synth Fiber still bypasses that, but it's worth noting. That said, one Tau shard is enough to keep Citrine topped off.
I just want to make sure I understand this correctly, if you use a shard create a radiation proc do you get 10% damage boost to l your abilities in general or just to the enemies effected by the radiation proc ??
You get the 10% boost :)
@@QuadLyStop all I know, is that this is likely broken as heck on Wisps Sol move.
The corrosive damage on Hydroid one feels very nice
The green shard is basically his passive…..I wonder what they will do - change hydroids passive or nerf green shard?
@@praneelprasad5042 Personally do not think they should do anything. You do have to invest 2 archon shards to make these, apply 2 of them to make any ability or weapon full strip, but you still have to transfer them if you want all frames to full strip with corrosive, or make a ton of green shards and slap 2 on every frame if you WANT every frame to be able to full strip, and acquiring that many archon shards may take a really long time. imo should be left as is, cause if you are an endgame player and investing that much to get these emerald shards, both Hydroid and the shard should coexist peacefully.
@@praneelprasad5042thing is things like acolytes are affected by it too so two shards for full strip normally became (+4) so 8 on status proc limited enemies , so if you run say run 3 on a hydroid that will take it to 10 procs and thus he can even armour strip archons but I could see that getting removed for archons , the main thing to take out of this is he gets full strip with no shard investment , other frames lose two potential shard slots to do it and tbh it’s worth it some cases
@@praneelprasad5042you need more than 1 green to be simewhat close to hydroid passive and there maybe other restrictions (needs testing, but for example you may need to apply those extra corrosive stacks yourself). So it is a decent investment.
@@praneelprasad5042there's no reason for them to do either. Hes not limited to that specific buff. He's better off using the corrosive damage buff from the emeralds that was meant for him
This is totally unrelated, but I adore your Helminth's name. "Pizza boy" had me laughing so hard
I think it has use just that it's finnicky, the thing I want to know is does this make using marked for death viable now, if I recall it has the ability to spread status affects 😁 even if its damage is kek
Tbh I just use purple on kullervo for that juicy 50%- 74% critical damageper shard
i wonder how the topaz ability damage work on a titania with diwatas geared towards radiation
i use 1x shield regen on my cedo gun mirage, everything else is downgrade from +15% strenght
in theory increasing corrosive stacks sounds good but its the only status i dont have on cedo (literally), i have corosive on mele (thx new arcane) but that one prety much oneshots everything so there is no time for applying statuses anyway
i was also thinking about the equilibrium shard since that would help with energy (replaced equilibrium mod for archon stretch + subsumed nourish + companion electric = great energy regen) since i kinda dont have use for all the health orbs that drop around thx to the shieldgating shard but its not worth losing 15% strenght
Weird how *Equilibrium* explicitly Stats *Orbs* but Violet Arch Shard just says *"Pick Ups"* 🤔
I’m thinking of the electricity damage would make snipers even more absurdly damaging to Ambulas, Eidolon and Ropololyst since they are weak to radiation.
x5 tau forged violet will make 300% elec damage and use Volt with his augment for even more elec damage, shoot anything the other side of his shield and wave bye bye 😂
Man with these new shards saryn, volt, oberon, protea, and ember are about to be eating real good 😂
Why protea?
@@stuck2349 protea gun turrets proc heat damage and the damage increases the longer it shoots a target whatever your good secondary your using is getting bonus crit chance
Bug zapper nation untite!!!
Sir, may I ask that you do a 5 purple shard build with an amprex for us? That's my main but it'll be a while before I have that many shards. Still new-ish
Oh god hell yeah!
3:55 yes, there are lots of bows in the secondary weapon category..
As far as the corrosive archon shards go, that increase the max stacks.. you need 2 of them, so then you'll have max stacks of 12 corrosive procs, which reduce armor down to 0%. any more of those shards are useless, and using only one makes the armor reduction go from 80% to 92% which is a bit mehh. And nope, it doesn't enable full strip with corrosive projection aura either, cos corrosive status armor strip percentages are multiplicative, not additive with other armor strip mechanics. It also applies to any abilities that strip armor. so it does not pair well with armor strip abilities.
Lastly read again what the final possible buff from the violet shard is. Energy orbs and health orbs don't just give you more energy and health, but it's actually 20% equilibrium. health orbs give energy, energy orbs give health. It's among the better buffs from the new archon shards, considering usually you don't pick up any health orbs at all, but with that shard you can pick them up for 10 energy each. At least if you can pick up health orbs, thu using synth fiber for example.
The purple with meele critical damage effect kind of sounds good for Baruuk, getting 500 should not be that hard
Yeah man, 350 crit damage from 5 tau shards is insane
As Baruuk main I tested this and I agree
These shards are extremely niche to a extreme degree some warframes can take advantage of this but it’s a small group
The crit buff on topaz archon shard does it work like arcane avenger or normal mod??
No it doesn't. That'd be crazy. However it is bugged right as of this moment. (Unless the hot fix patched it)
Would it increase how to roar effects enemies?
Nope, the best one for that is the red shard
I agree that they're very niche, but I definitely don't hate them
More crit dmg on Melee buff pacth
My Kullervo gonna go crazy strong
the emerald first thing come to mah mind, Saryn
I belive the melee crit for violet is a bit bugged not realy adding double cd when over 500
It's working I think, bit only applies in mission not in the Arsenal for some reason, like the Bond mod crit damage bonus does.
@@tomj819 see I also had the same ideal thought, but it's hard for me to test that
@@PrestonGarvey. I havent looked at Simulacrum numbers yet, but my 2 shards give me a 3x multiplier difference between "old" and "new" specs in the Arsenal on my Dual Ichors, which tracks.
@@tomj819 it tracks the numbers but doesnt seem to apply properly in simulacrum.
The Violet one seems kinda busted
Got extremely disappointed by the rad & electric ability damage shards
I was hoping to make a xaku smite + armor strip build but stacking 35% dmg only got me from 31K dmg to health to 39K.. extremely disappointing
Also very let down by the fact that the electric ab. damage one doesn't do jack shit to electric elemental ward.
Saryn Prime will be great with green archon shard 👀
My suggestion is 5 emeralds, 1 for the hp recovery from toxin ticks, 2 for 4 extra stacks of corrosion, and 2 for toxin damage. That 1 recovery buff goes A long long way on saryn.
@@zenraloc ! Tauforge emerald archon shars will be enough to strip down armor. HP recovery is kinda useless imo when it you're do a long run. I would go 1 tauforge emerald and 4 tauforge red (that's my setup rn).
@vladsaryn that works too. Either way the corrosive stack shard excellent. Also, one tau forged would leave 2% armor left and that'd bug me. (Correct me if im wrong ofcourse). Though, You're absolutely right with going for a more min max set up for long endurance runs. But I'd actually argue that if you're using something like the torid or dual ichor the 2 hp recovery will keep you at full hp no matter what damage you take, because the clouds will be ripping into enemies at an insane rate, but you wont be drained by any enemies. One shots are inevitable regardless of most saryn builds, so there are other ways to deal with that. 2hp recovery isn't neccessary, but it certainly be useful opening up a defensive mod. No need for adaptation with that bad boy.
@@zenraloc It'll be good then. Btw what I'm saying about tauforged emerald shard is that Corrosive thing. 14 stacks of corrosive will guarantee the armor strip to enemies. You should try.
@@zenraloc sht, nevermind. It's only +3 added stack when it's tauforge. Really gonna need 2 shards
The purple crit stat seems good. the rest idk
That's the one with Wrong Description.... It's not +25% Crit Damage.... It's actually *+0.25X* Crit Damage. 😐
@@lookalike4805 25% and .25 is the same number (25% of 100 is 25, 100x.25= 25)
@commentthis3264
I am Well Aware.... But I wrote the Second Number That Way because that's how *Tenacious Bond* Description Writes it.
the emerald shard is game changing in my opinion. it allows saryn to fully strip armor, which is huge. but i have another idea
im going 2x emerald 3x topaz on mesa. why? because with toxin damage on the regulators and archon continuity it also adds a corrosive proc on top of the toxin proc. then I can fully strip armor with mesa. Then with the 3 topaz tauforged ones I'm picking secondary CC I can get 225% CC, which on top of the 187% CC brings the end CC over 125%.
I've had a few tau amber's i've been tossing around just because I couldn't fine a purpose for them, now I can just rip the 5 tau red shards I have with mesa and use the tau topaz shards. I'm gonna be having fun :)
Who ever wrote the Descriptions for the New Archon Shards Buffs Should be Fired Immediately since some of them are Wrong. 👿
Witch ones?
Violet's Crit Damage Shard.
@lookalike4805 what about it is wrong? If your max energy is above 500, you can 50% melee crit. Seems pretty straight forward to me
Its sad to see the decision they went for. You should be awarded for sacrificing 2 shards for 1. Instead half of all new abilities, feel far too niche or are easily replaced by the regular ones. There are far less reasons to buff abilty dmg than overall strength. If i have more than one abilty that benefits from strength why do i want to go for ability dmg? DE..
Volt with all violet shards:
I see no god here... BUT MYSELF.
Do this shard work with wisp electric mote ?
i dint know bows are seacondry weapons
They aren’t?
@@piplupp6059 damm dint know warframe players needed that much brain capacity to understand a clear joke
This was a real stupid oversight on my part xD
The crit is flat
It's not
@@thinhnguyen-tz9pe it very much is its added to the base crit not the modded crit
Equilibrium effect is far from niche hahaha
Imagine calling a shard allows you to replace equilibrium on your build and opens a mod slot a "stupid perk"
The effect of a normal shard is 1/5 of maxed equilibrium. In my opinion a different archon shard effect outweights a free mod slot in this case. But again, it depends on your playstyle
@@QuadLyStop
On frames like khora or nekros where they HEAVILY rely on equilibrium to sustain, 3 tau is all you need and enough to remove the mod entierly for something else
Is it weak? Sure i agree but it NOT trash by the stretch of the imagination
@@QuadLyStopwhile I agree it's certainly not a stupid buff. I Also agree with your analysis of how effective the Equilibrium mod is. Sure, By all means it's great for anyone who Cannot spare to add Equilibrium. However, you're right that 5 shards (10*, should not only match a single mod slot). There are better options for energy. Especially now with the new +3 energy per seconds mods.
@@TierdDoktor6391nekros hasn't relied on energy since he had an augment come out that spends hp to use his channeling ability. But Yes there'll Always be a build that'll benefit from Equilibriums on shards. Many frames don't neccessarily benefit that much from the other shard buffs. But pretty much All benefit from Equilibrium.
3:53 secondary bows?
mmmkaaay
there is no versatility, and are also absurdly conditional, takes too much effort to trigger those, making them useless unless you tie a frame to a playstile that may not work in general play, so the new shards are generally bad....
I don't know, man. I've seeing people doing crazy things with them that couldn't be done before. Maybe it is good that they're more situational than the primary shards, so you don't start thinking of them as less valuable and just coalescence fodder.
This is an extremely close minded take.
The equilibrium effect is good on Khora, Nekros and Hydroid.
The +electricity on primary is good for archon hunts and murmur fights. Lots of tanks in warframe have flex slots in their shards they could use for this.
The +ability damage ones are actually multiplicative and not additive like the red shard, so if you're able to get yourself up to a decent power strength with your build putting these in over more reds is better. 200/250 strength is a good break point for them.
The max corrosion one is actually a trap though.
Skill issue
Lol, how is the max corrosion one a trap?
