- I have early Final Shape Gameplay (I was able to play at Bungie HQ!) This will be 1 of 4 (now 5?) videos I make on The Final Shape over the next few days! Today we're talking about my thoughts on FINAL SHAPE EXOTICS! Yes, Final Shape Exotic Weapons and Final Shape Exotic Armor! Not only that - Exotic Testing! Here's my gameplay footage & thoughts:

In one of the vidocs, a Khvostov Ricochet was shown to target ammo drops.
This means Khvostov will auto collect orbs to empower itself, making more orbs, so on so forth
Yes, it does have shoot to loot.
@raziele92 the gun does not directly state that ricochets will target drops.
Fallout himself is shooting directly at drops; instead of letting the gun do the work for him

@@Knights0fBlood nah they wouldn’t do that they’ll probably just nerf the damage unfortunately. They clearly wanted this sniper to synergize with hunters or else that wouldn’t have been a feature.
As a Titan I am SOOO happy to hear that the Exotic that has the coolest looking effect might also be the most useful!
As a hunter main we got shafted with the exotic armors, I'm glad titans and warlocks really good stuff this time

@@exdee__ Titans literally use 4 maybe 5 exotics for PvE only. Synthos, Wormgods, HOIL, Pyrogale, and MAYBE precious scars since the buff this season. They also swap to cuirass before they super and then take it off again. Titans are starved for exotic variety compared to the other two classes tbh

When you consider the fact that damage dealt by rockets increases with the exodus chest piece, you can rock twin tailed fox and have a buffed jolt, buffed ignition, and just a reloading suppression rocket (assuming you run that aspect) you can insta delete something big.
Echo of Domineering is a Void Fragment. I was curious if it did indeed pop off of the Void rocket of TTF (it does, and reloads the rocket mid-burst), so I went to a Lost Sector and verified stuff.
Its effects are: reload your equipped weapon & gain bonus *mobility* when you *suppress* a target on an 11sec timeout (the duration of the mobility boost - remember that 00:00 is a full second on most, if not all, de/buff timers in D2). Defeating a *suppressed* target creates a Void Breach (with the relevant cooldown).

I'm so happy that some creators got to test this. The sandbox will change a lot, and this will help us enter TFS with some idea of how things are behaving.
All its doing is powercreeping old weapons out of the meta lol.
Now instead of izanagis, we will just use the goldy sniper. Its the same meta, just different weapons.

Funny, I was one of those "man why wasn't strand more than just melee" people. But man. Berserker just does that play style the best.
What’s cool too is that the extra Frenzied Blade charge will make it so you can do a longer combo with Flechette Storm. That’ll be bonkers with Banner of War boosting Melee damage too.
I don't mind the nerfs, THEN adding this, kinda like saying you wanna beat the shit outta everything go for it, but you still have to use up an exotic slot for it to do so, which I think is fair, sad I'll have to remove my armamentarium though, double grapple is really fun

Welcome! Take breaks, eat food, stay hydrated and don't feel compelled to complete everything ASAP.
Just remember: make a checklist of objectives to complete when TFS comes out. Please prioritize completing the campaign on legendary no matter what happens. It will massively benefit you. (Even when the raid comes out). Don’t rush. Period. Like please, if you are not a streamer don’t try to complete objectives in 1 day. Very easy way to burn out lol.
But did you check if the Speaker's Sight synergizes with the Edge of Intent? I know Helm of Saint-14 synergizes with Edge of Action's Remote Shield's. Would've been interesting to see.
I would like to point something out: The Speaker mask exotic mentions that it gives orbs of power on healing. It doesn't say the healing has to come from the turret, so most likely a rift, Lumina, Well, the new healing gun, all those will most likely work.
"Healing allies occasionally spawns an Orb of Power" Depending on how often occasionally is and what constitutes healing allies we could make a lot of orbs using those new guns with the healing bullets and well of radiance
Ya depending on how much orbs it creates, you could have one warlock running well, creating orbs with the super and healing grenades (which would also compensate for the well nerf because of restoration) and if it’s enough, then 5 hunters could spam golden guns again with the new sniper
if you notice the exotic perk symbol for speaker helmet is veeery similar to edge of intent's exotic symbol. I think it's very likely that they're gonna have some sorta synergy, at the very least making intent turrets also generate orbs.
@@satanxdarkxgames1310 I bet you money that it only generates orbs upon actually healing a teammate. I can't see bungie giving us a way to just generate orbs for free, up to a couple times per minute, with no stipulations. That would be insane.
I just came from Datto's video that Red Death PvP clip was hilarious as Datto also had that same clip but from the opposite side.
I'm excited for the new exotic chest for my Prismatic Warlock. Arcane needle and Lightning surge together, you got all champions covered with those three alone!
Void Strand build with the new exotic chest piece because the way it sounds to me it sounds destructive, but yeah, I feel the same way about this. I really can’t wait for the final shape
I love how much synergy there is with the new exotics. Also love that Titans are getting EXPLOSIONS as part of their identity instead of just being a melee bot and the "tank" which has obviously been hard to balance.

Im so happy with that new Wishful Ignorance exotic for titans. I was extremely bummed out when i saw the titan nerfs but now we have this to make up for it. Into the Frey is subsideded thanks to this and now i can feel even more like a support class with banner especially during Crotas boss fight
I dead-ass went as soon as the video started " huh, that's a cool classic D1 auto rifle wonder what rolls-wait, it's a pulse. THAT'S RED DEATH" that was a good chuckle.

For years have we waited, and now it is here.
Hopefully the catalyst truly completes it with something spicy for PvE.
Happy with Matoidaxia, the way they only showed the "all 3 needles" before really was selling it short, but that it can work with just 1 and a kill OR all 3 w/out a kill requirement is very cool. Looks like it'' work nicely with Wishkeeper.
Speaker's Voice being tied to healing grenades was not at all what I'd expected but it seems pretty neat, works on prismatic as well since healing is the designated solar grenade for warlock which might be interesting. Feed the Void has grenade regen built in and Bleak Watcher can be thrown out by charging the grenade; The fact the exotic changes the base function of the grenade means they should pair for a dual-turret build, press for a healing turret or hold for a stasis turret. Sounds like an interesting support setup.
It's a bit of a shame Khvostov doesn't seem to have a relation to weapon crafting given the way it was back in D1 but the perks seem alright. Can't say I'm especially impressed by it just yet but hopefully it's better in play then it sounds on paper because the perk descriptions don't sound that amazing and probably aren't doing it justice.
The Titan rocket exotic looks very cool and I'm glad it's looking like it'll be just as effective. I'm not much of a titan myself but it's nice to see. That said at 10:25 and18:22 I notice you seem to be wearing Precious Scars along side the new exotics, is that just a Bungie debug type of thing or is there a chance we'll get to see exotics as legendary ornaments?

I would be interested if the speaker helmet healing also worked with rift and Well of radiance. Extra orbs as it doesn't specifically say healing from the turret grants orbs just healing allies grants orbs.

I recently watched Datto's video, and I thought the Red Death PvP footage was hilarious because Datto had the identical film, but from the other angle.
I dont usually run snipers myself (been heavily using polaris this season) and with the exotic's gg working with nighthawk, hell yeah brother. Microcosm, probably commented already, but not only is it the first kinetic heavy, it's also the first kinetic trace. Glad to see, not only the Khvostov returning yet again, but also that it's far more useful than its fan service of an exotic in D1. Surprised to see Red Death coming back given Crimson was kind of the D2 iteration of it.

Potential (excessive) damage rotation I could see for Titans running Gjally.
1. Build Stacks.
2. Shoot Gjally for teammates.
3. Class Ability.
4. Second Gjally shot to refresh timer.
5. While reload is happening for Gjally, swap to Pyrogales.
6. Burning Maul Super.
7. Finish out damage phase with fusion rifle or other special depending on encounter.
Definitely going to be a lot to play around with!
I have a healing focused build on warlock that I've been using and that helmet seems like it'll be really good for popping ember of benevolence so I'm pretty hype about it
Speakers sight with lumina and that new warlock super feels like a big support build to me.

1. Thank you bungie for furthering the ability to make full suspend build my wish keeper will thank you as well.
2. I wonder if the speaker helmet also means healing by other means like lumina, rift or well? More than likely not and just from the turret. It would be pretty good tho to be able to not only go full heal build, but also be generating a possible good amount of orbs.
I may give this exotic, the new radiance super, and lumina a go once in a while if so.

You have to stay in your Rift for Boots of the Assembler to do anything, and they don’t provide Restoration or Orbs of Power either. If anything, Boots of the Assembler seem pointless now.
As a Lumina & Boots main I would disagree , all for the reasons as stated in the comment above.
This new helmet provides both restoration x2 and cure which boots do not.

Its crazy to see a modern exotic armor piece with literally a 2 sentence long effect on what it does but damn if that healing turret isnt going to be great for a full support build. That plus the healing auto is going to be going insane for team support in final shape. I already liked lumina for the fact you could just prevent your team from ever dying with it but the healing warlocks get this expansion is wicked strong.
Ooh, I bet the Exodus buff applies to the nanotech tracer rockets on all neomuna weapons as well, so Quicksilver gets a bit of a bump back up

I have the feeling the Mataiodoxia exotic for warlock will let needles one shot barriers. It reads similar to Titans Second Chance exotic which lets your shield throws pop barriers with only one shield.
That Hazardous Propulsion just needing to damage and not kill something for that damage buff is kinda nuts and really free and that makes that much more appealing for use in high level content where you can't guarantee a kill
Yup, I'm wondering how much it could potentially help DPS phases. Depending on how much it boosts RL shot damage and how often we can get rally barricade + the reload assists, it could be meta

I hope warlocks get some insane shit in other ways during the final shape, cause these exotics are just kinda meh looking to me. Like, here's another mass suspend ad clear exotic, the thing thorn/osteo + necros does insanely well and easily, and another way to do a little bit of healing. Hunters on the other hand are getting double celestial and titans will be a walking itano circus. Let warlocks do some crazy shit for once, nearly all our best exotics just revolve around generating ability energy fast

Yeah but this new exotic with the new strand rocket pistol or handcannon etc with weavers trance will be way better at suspending shit etc then just next grips and osteo etc. Also you can combine this with necrotic grips on prismatic. That’s going to be busted

Bruh calm down. The speaker mask exotic is mid as hell. They basically just turned the warlock exotic glaive into an exotic armor piece. No one uses the glaive, what makes you think they’ll use the armor piece 😂. Bungie will definitely have to buff it otherwise no one’s gonna use it 😂. The chest piece is ok though.

Warlocks have enough ways to suspend so the chest piece is mid the helmet is absolutely dog. But hold fast warlock mains don't fold to Bungie trying to force us to play Hunter. They literally made a exotic sniper specifically for hunter

17:32 looks like exodus rockets stagger enemies too. Do you know if you can reload other weapons at the same time? Could be a pretty decent way to bump up dps when using non-autoloading weapons
The fact that it says that you gain damage resistance when you jolt enemies, and doesnt specify that it has to be from the aspect, really tells me that it will most likely work with weapons that jolt as well. So this could be very good with any long ranged weapon that has voltshot, especially weapons like indebted kindness.

Being able to pierce Barrier Champion barriers is huge too. Hopefully it only needs one Arcane Needle like with Second Chance. If it does only need one, you’re basically free to use anything in a Nightfall Strike.

Nah The Button has always been solar. In-game it always showed as solar, but in the API it was bugged and showed kinetic. Microcosm is truly our first kinetic heavy

Any idea if meeting up with cayde 6 and having his handcannon equip if it changes dialog? Like does cayde mention you having his gun (but not "broken" like in the video with crow)?
If the DR from Gifted Conviction does in fact work with wep jolt then Oversoul Edict with demo/jolt could prove to be really strong after the pulse rifle buff.
I wonder with the titan chest piece, will the buff in damage also stack with bait and switch? Or with sentinel shield super
was hoping speakers sight would be better. boots of the assembler pretty much already achieves what it wants to do and has synergy with lumina for a support role.

Any chance you tested if Speaker's Sight still heals on impact like a normal healing grenade or flat out replaces that function?
In the inspection screen for Hazardous Propulsion, your Titan is wearing both that and Precious Scars at the same time. Was that a devbuild-specific thing for testing purposes, or will we be able to choose between wearing the random-rolled exotic class item and wearing two full exotics at once?
Speaker’s sight could possibly be a better option than phoenix protocol for getting well back quickly. Pair this with lumina and healing rift, not to mention armor charges for defensive use. Could be nutzo.
The Golden Gun sniper is the most excited I have been for an exotic since Ace of Spades (yes I love Cayde)
