@@hhaste I can make it to orbit but my ship doesn’t appear, my character isn’t visible in the inventory menu, and my power level is 0, I get like 15 “contacting Destiny 2 server” errors and then I get booted. I got to play the first mission and then everything died.

You ever been afraid things are going so well instead of being fully happy you're scared of what's to come? That's where I'm at. Loved the story for the main campaign, loved being able grab a formerly sunsetted gun that take it in to the story, love the new guns, and pathfinder is fun. It just feels too good

I beat the campaign in legendary didn’t get a exotic or 1960 gear
I just started Destiny coming from Warframe, so let me see if I understand, different from Warframe we don't have a navigation that we have to complete all nodes and things like that for progression, we just have do whatever fancy us, just keeping in mind the reward power level caps? Or is it there something like arbitration, an end game content that I am forced to have complete certain requirements besides power level?
Does it only work on equipped items, or highest owned items.
Need a guide to help login first.

Just a heads up right when you log in. Go to the tower and go to the crypt arc so that way you accept his new quest (its not a quest just enables him i guess) and can start earning towards

Got only 1 drop per 2 chests im the first 3 missions (had to quit after those 3 to go to bed, heading there rn)
I got 1 blue bond from 1st “double” chest, this after 3 hrs of login hell 😂
Happened to me for every chest in the first 5 missions. Was really annoying since my class item was lagging behind by 23 points near the end.
I only get errors when I’ve completed a mission, preventing me from any type of progress.
So glad I don’t have to play gambit anymore

I forgot and popped mine before I got the artifact and it still gave me the xp credit when I finally picked up the artifact.

I am glad I stuck out the errors with a friend. Campaign was great and am excited for the raid this weekend.
People are so shocked the game is broken like this doesn’t happen every time they do anything
this isnt the same broken weve had before. every year (except shadowkeep) had you in within 2 hours and no issues after. this is unprecedented. no one can load in to anything.
Bungie had 24 months in prep for this dlc. Then, add 24 hours of offline prep. This should’ve made a huge difference, tbh.
Just wait a day, that's what I always do for every update.

No, but your 2000 level weapons will mean the other classes will get higher gear much faster. with your weapons the first armour drop you find on another class will probably be like 1940+ and the next one even higher, by the time you have gotten armour drops/rewards in every slot youll be capped, or close to, on those classes

So strange thing don't know if it's intended but it's just mot giving any drops at the end off missions on legend I get like 1 piece off armour and a couple enhancement cores and that's it I remember nightfall and witch queen giving me more that but maybe they have changed it

Welcome to gaming in 2024, every game is a 2nd job if you want to be efficient
The raid is connected to the story, and only after the raid is beaten can the new mission be unlocked. And without that the next season will have continuity issues.
i finished the campaign on legendary from start to finish and didn't get the 1960 power gear or the exotic. yes i checked everything form post masters, the ghost, special orders etc. and got nothing. beat the story are 1940 power level too

Destiny players acting like these server crashes only happens to Destiny & its Bungie's fault. EVERY online game does this. Be logical. How can a online live game operate 100% when literally everyone is on, overloading the servers, after a new DLC, reworked performance, live maintenance. I couldnt play after 9:30pm last night with my two other guys. Guess what, expected, still had fun. 25 of my Destiny Friends were online playing. How about have some patience lol

Pretty sure artifact levels are retroactive if you gain enough xp to level it up before getting it. Reason being I leveled up during one of the missions before getting it and I completed a guardian level up task for rank 6 that said something like “level up the seasonal artifact one time”

Every time I've run the campaigns on legendary, I've ended up higher levelled than the gear bundle they give at the end anyway
The legendary campaign, especially solo, just isnt worth it of your focus is power levelling. By the time i completed it normally i was 1950 already anyway.

Do it! Also, by the way, warlocks are the most OP class by a large margin. If you do ever get into a warlock, pay close attention to subclass and exotic armor syrnergies. They will make the difference between being a mediocre Warlock and being a fucking space god. People fail to realize this and main a Warlock for years without ever seeing their full potential.

There's no way people are actually this braindead.. expecting flawless servers on day 1, lmao. How is that a waste of money? Literally makes 0 sense. Every launch in the history of Destiny had had server issues on day 1.. give it a day and your money will be well spent.. Over 1 million people preordered The Final Shape.. the servers are going to have some problems for a few minutes, you'll survive. I logged in 30 minutes after launch and got all the way through the entire intro mission without a single hiccup. This is around the time people are getting off work and causing an influx on the servers. Go touch grass for an hour and come back, it'll be okay pumpkin.

So I did basically everything in Legend mode but at the last part incoclasim I decided for some reason to switch to normal mode. I didnt get my gear or exotic and I am wondering if I can go back and do that mission again to get my gear... would this work?

I admit; idk much about the technical stuff about it. But Bungie has been doing live-service MMOs for almost 10 years now. You'd think, after all that time, they'd have figured out how to properly drop an expansion. For the love of God, they've had over 24 hours of downtime to prepare.
I understand the scaling problem, but Jesus. Other developers don't have this problem, do they? And its not just now. In the past few years, it seems almost EVERY OTHER weekly update now requires another update immediately after.
