😂😂😂😂
OH FUCK!!! Lmfao
😂
I bought the arlo doorbell, I returned the next day after failing to connected with the app and wifi. Bought the eufy and quickly get it connected with no issues and works flawless
You made up my mind for me.
Nicely done guys. Thanks for posting.
I hope you guys continued being friends after this 😂
Hahaha, That's Funny. I was never anyone's Enemy. Just telling the truth :o)
Thanks guys.
Eufy is the best. No subscription and notifications is really good.
Hows the quality in night mode long distance and close?
@@joeslacker1020 u can watch video at lifehackster chanel
If I already have the wireless eufy doorbell and base station which cameras would work with the base station I already have? Or would I need a separate one?
Hi, On your advise we bought the product euf-security . We actually have a problem with the Gb. We can not make the gb bigger by using a 64 or 128 gb usb stick.
Please help me. What happens when the wifi (internet) is down? Will it still record locally? The electricity (hydro) is still on.
3:15 can you record externally to a usb drive? what is the max storage?
Great video just wish you would have spent more time with the Eufy as you did with the Arlo and also show the Eufy app. Thank you for giving us soo much details comparing both camera’s
This. There was barely anything with the eufy in terms of footage. And like zero footage from the eufy doorbell.
Nice review!
What is the best for HomeKit?
The Eufy system as shown can be purchased for $450 or less since once you buy 1 homebase, you can buy extra cameras for less. You don't need multiple homebases.
How many cameras can 1 homebase accept?
@@sethmayeaux9322 I don't represent Eufy, so I can't give you exact numbers, but the Homebase 2 will control over 30 devices (Cameras, motion sensors, doorbells, door locks. Etc) , and I would assume around 14 cameras should work without a hitch. You need more than that, Im not sure I would recommend any of these inexpensive systems.
depends if you have a small house and if you don't care about footage history.
- In my case, I need to use 2 HomeBase devices as 2 of my cameras are in front of the house and the other 2 are in a tree in the back yard.
- The storage on HomeBbase 2 is limited to 16GB for all the camera connected to it. this is from Eufy article: "It can store 2 months’ worth of videos for a system with 1 camera, or 1 month for a system with 2 cameras (30 motion detections a day and 60 seconds recording each time)"
But WAIT, a Eufy employee has confirmed, in Eufy community website, that they are working on a new Homebase!
@@steli25 the new homebase is out and has internal hard drive support (2.5in I believe) as well external storage support.
Can the eufy camera be installed with and work with AC power or is battery power the only source of power?
Does eufy have live record option I was told it didn’t
good review,
for eufy 2 pro, How far can you place the camera from the home base unit and still get footage?
Like if your storage house (with no Internet connection) is about 80 to100 meters from where you live.
,would wifi Extention unit(or a router like Asus ZenWiFi AX) allows additional distance between camera and home base unit in this case?
and how many add-on camras can the home base unit handle beside the two included in box?
There is no way in hell that you can get a full hd stream through 100m of wifi…. Even without anything in between….
Why did you not compare the Arlo 2K to the Eufy 2k?
It felt like watching a subliminal fight.
Gave it a thumbs up for keeping me on the edge of my seat waiting for 1 of you to kick off. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol yes. subtext! haha
What’s the lag time in eufy setup
No subscription takes the cake. I’m happy with my eufy doorbell and I’m getting the cameras this week. 🔥
How are the cameras working?
@@happyandblessed9753 good. No complaints no complaints on the garage and porch camera. The battery doorbell camera dies in about 30 days. But I had it on full features on. I lowered the settings to see how much battery I can get this month. Everything is good tho. Still recommend.
Another update?
@@floridas_own Which cameras did you get? How's the battery life on the cameras and does it record audio too on camera?
You guys are clearly uncomfortable when talking & it’s hilarious 😂😂😂😂
Yeah it’s an older video, I’m surprised it’s still getting a lot of views. Unscripted and unprepared, the channel has come a long way
Does Eufy work well with the Google products and Google assistant?
It is the other way around. Google can stream the live feed of the doorbell or camera.
If you have google home/nest speaker you cannot use it as a chime nor for audio notification. Unfortunately.
You make very nice videos make a new one about Arlo & Eufy ❤️🔥 tnx
Eufy Homebase USB cannot be used to extend the storage or add extra storage. ONLY 16 GB storage for all the Eufy cameras and doorbell connected to the base. Unfortunately.
what do you do after 16 gb are used up? Is the camera useless after that??
@@loriroxx394 form their article
What is the HomeBase storage type?
The HomeBase 2 comes with a non-removable 16GB EMMC local storage. System files will occupy a very small amount of storage space.
It can store 2 months’ worth of videos for a system with 1 camera, or 1 month for a system with 2 cameras (30 motion detections a day and 60 seconds recording each time). The old video clips will be overwritten by a loop when the space is full.
Eufy recording when it detects movement lags constantly for me so weird, 2 brand new cameras and base and it kinda lags read that it could be my internet but I got real good internet so don't know what it could be.
Do either of these have subscription like ring? I can't watch my videos on the ring unless I pay
i think Arlo has a subscripsion the Eufi not
please use seperate mic for the sound, otherwise good video
Hey guys I thought Eufy have no subscription and everything like save to the cloud is totally free just like the doorbell my mom have!!
It is free when stored locally on your SD card, but if you want it stored to the cloud, then you have to pay.
The next match is going to be on PPV. This one was brutal...
I heard that all Eufy devices can only work if you have 2 separate bands, 2.4g and 5g, at home. IF you have a mesh network that combines 2.4g and 5g into one SSID then their devices will not work. True ? Anyone ?
which is wireless AC
11:15 I have a 1 tb micro SD in my Arlo Ultra 2 base.
Nice outro.
Arlo app is available on Amazon Fire tablet, but Eufy is not.
So how can we add extra storage ?
For the Eufy, the guy in this video (see link) talks about using Network Attached Storage (“NAS”): ruclips.net/video/6ed7R_MjA9c/видео.html
Why didn't you compare apples to apples not apples to oranges in 4K to 2K when Arlo offers a 2K Pro4 which would make it an even fight? Just a thought.
The eufy camera has a speaker and a microphone. The homebase can be set up via Wi-Fi. Fyi.
All my 3 Ultras are plugged in power and notifications are darn near instantaneous on my watch. I believe you must have a robust WiFi system, I have ATT gig fiber.
Also, the Arlo has been great within HomeKit.
Can't go wrong with either but decided to go with eufy
I miss the night vision comparison
Why the loud music.?
We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.
heck yeah, both systems are easy to install
Are the doorbells wireless?
They do make wireless versions
Reading the boxes is hardly a sufficient review
@@BrandonDoyleMN I can tell you haven’t even tested the Eufy cameras. First, the AI facial recognition doesn’t work on the HomeBase 2 that came with the kit. Second, the usb is currently only used for charging and not storage expansion.
@@alexd15680 They addressed at the end of the video that the USB port, in fact, does not offer storage expansion. He was initially wrong in stating that and admitted it.
I have an older Arlo system. The lag is awful, and it doesn't matter if the cam is on battery, solar power, or plug. They all are laggy. The doorbell has been going off line a lot after almost 3 years of use. I have Xfinity 1GB internet service, the lag shouldn't be this bad.
@@BrandonDoyleMN yes it is
Example, if someone was walking passed the camera, I would get notified about 2 seconds, by the time I immediately open the app and cam their gone. If it's not in history I'll never see them.
I want to party with these guys! I think these dudes are cool.
Sweet way to cut the video mid-sentence.
Also it's a death comPany
eufy station usb port DOES NOT support expanded storage, this is false
Eufy video is choppy
Arlo footage was terrible, took ages to load, looks like it kept recording som many events.
None of those camaras are good enough cus now you have to pay a monthly payment
Well folks here's something that Eufy doesn't tell you. If you need to change your email address you have to delete all your cameras and your account and start over with the new email address. You can change your password but you cannot change your email with a user name and password.
Why would I need to change my email 🤷🏽♀️
@@marksawatzky96 , that's exactly what I've noticed also. He has definitely posted that same comment at least several times already. I guess he's just trying to give people a heads up, who knows?
Honestly if someone led with them being owned by anker my decision would have been simple!
Every product that says 'military grade security' make me laugh.
I've tried Eufy cam 2 pro for about 15 days, first of all, your Arlo in the video took forever to connect to live feed. That is totally unacceptable to me. I hope its your wireless connection issue. I have 1gb fibre connection and Eufy immediately connects to live feed for me every time. My Eufy hub 2 was connected through wire. Even in this video, I noticed accessing recorded videos on Arlo took a lot of time. Again, might be your router is sitting far from base station and is connected wirelessly?
iOs app I think Eufy is slightly better but I have yet to use Arlo. and am going to try out Arlo Ultra to see how 4K recordings are and sensitive and accurate motion detections is. This is the key one. . Issue with Eufy is less motion detection uo to 30 feet, which in my case is not enough. I've had two camera installed at front of my house. Right side camera was capturing videos all the way to the left and left side camera aiming towards the right side... and lot of time I noticed that image or detection gets lots in the middle or cut-off. I think it is normally with wireless system, no matter what.
In my 15 days testing of Eufy camera, battery stayed green all the way, so didn't notice any issue but claiming 365 days is a lot. I would be happy if it even lasts 10 months or so...But again battery life really depends on how much you watch live stream, weather conditions, low or high traffic area, amount of time your camera is recording after sensing the motion, etc...
So I ended up placing the order for wired 4K NVR system as I want stability, continuous live recording and enhanced optical zoom.Wired camera starts the recording 5-10 sec before any event happens and wireless camera only starts when it detects the motion. In my opinion, wireless camera system is not a substitute of wired ones but there are applications and scenarios where wireless will work like a magic. So I am thinking that I will have both wired and wireless systems.
If you can instal wired, then go with wired (POE) system, as its just one time effort and it worth all the hassle. If snaking wires through the house is a big challenge, then try out both of these as well as Lorex 2K wireless system with 1TB internal storage, and see which one works best for you. Price difference of 100-200 is not an a big concern for me on wireless system.
My Arlo takes about 8 seconds for the live feed. So pretty useless. Also the speak feature is useless on the Arlo since the sound is also delayed by 8 seconds. On the same wifi I have a $30 camera that gives me live view within 1 second. Arlo is an expensive disappointment.
@@paulsterman7169 The whole wireless technology is only for fun really, no matter what brand you pick. I am just waiting form my Hikvision 4K NVR to arrive next week, then, I will have 6 Eufy cameras collecting dust. Perhaps, return them as they are still under return window, or maybe I will keep a couple of them, just in case. I think these wireless cameras are good for rental properties like apartments, etc.
I'll take the Eufy. Their software app is better.
Eufy > Arlo for security cameras.
Arlo siren it's like chicken
Arlo ultra is not 4K it's fake!!
EUFY kicks ARLOS ASS!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GET EUFY!!!!
Arlo is a piece of shit
I bought it a while back and it doesn’t even record motion now.
I’m thinking about buying eufy, but idk if I can use the base station from eufy 2C with a eufy 2 cam pro camera. Would anyone happen to know?
Beavis and butthead 🤘🏼
Nice system but Eufy doesn't have a powerful outdoor siren or a flash light. Burglars are mainly startled by a powerful siren, which the Eufy system cannot offer! Eufy does have a beeper (alarm) on the homebase and the camera, but with that you tell the burglar exactly where the camera and the Eufy homebase are. If he also takes it with him, then you have nothing because the video images are stored on the homebase! And the beeping sound from the camera or the Eufy homebase is far from powerful. A pitty for Eufy security system and a missed opportunity.
Arlo has the worst customer service. I believe they are trying to drop support for older cameras to help sell the new cameras to existing and new customers. Bad practice, again in my opinion.
eufy is a lot better
Get a real microphone.
Funny. Get a security camera made by a Chinese company.
Save some Sheila's for us, lads
Horrible audio, not watchable.
This was one of our early videos from Sept of 2020, the channel has evolved quite a bit since then, I encourage you to check out the new content but thanks for stopping by and sharing your feedback. I’d still recommend eufy cameras but no longer recommend arlo. Reolink is another great option
