  • It's best to test in a controlled situation. In this video I test the new winch system that was installed on my 22 foot tilt bed trailer. This is a real world scenario pull that may need to be completed one day and it's best to test it now, not when I need it. Will the Open Road 6000 lb winch be up for the task?

How long is your trailer. I am looking at a28’ deck over. I want to haul my tractor and my grader.

This is a 22 ft. 6 ft stationary and 16 ft tilt. I looked hard at a deck over, but the approach angle is pretty steep and unless you have wireless remote, you gotta get out and lower it down at that angle. That's didn't appeal to me personally. Best of luck!

@@timbervisions the one i am looking at doesn’t tilt. Has ramps. My other option is building my own. With a 9’ hydraulic tilt

@puddlejumper3534 ah, got ya. I had to go tilt as I use it to haul my zero turn as well. Would be a trick to hit those ramps just right. If you're doing equipment only, deck over is the way IMO
