I have one Oris (a big crown pointer date) and absolutely love it, so much so I'm looking to get another! My current one is a plexiglass one, but the new ones with sapphire glass and screw down crowns just call me.... Like you Jody, there's just something about them I love.😍 Keep them coming.
Thats a great lookin watch. Please do an update video when the bronze has started to show patina! Im very interested to see what that looks like. Congrats!
Gorgeous watch! I've had one myself for the last 8 or so months? It looks great, it wears great - fantastic all rounder for the price, especially if you can pick it up with a bit of a discount (It was 20% off at the time I got it). The only thing I wish Oris did was to regulate the movement. Mine is running around + 10-15 spd. Temped to regulate it myself, which I'm confident in doing, just afraid of ruining the water resistance by not closing it properly or damaging the threads by overtightening it
Hello Jody. Yes this is really a winner ! The Deauville is beautiful but less all purpose. Better date window integration and beautiful index with the one on the bronze bezel. For Christmas I pulled the trigger on the Oris Big Crown 40mm Bronze 80th anniversary edition. Again, on paper nothing very exciting, but once you have it in hands it’s another stunning timepiece. Next year I will go with a new moto ... just one less watch ! Happy holiday mate.
Yes Jody, yes! I can see myself replacing that bracelet with a honey coloured calf leather strap (with a bronze buckle, obviously) to compliment the bronze bezel ring and rose gold hands. Definitely on my New Year wish list. Another nice review (*cough...peer pressured...*cough)! 😉😁 6 months later... Yep, he’s flipped this one again.
I just got one of these and I'm like OMG, this is even better in person. It's even better on the brown leather strap. The color fits the vibe. I promised myself this would be a weekend watch and I won't wear it at work.
Ha! I've got a deal on this one from a local AD.. Just love it. I go and look at it every week or so.. I can't afford it yet - tantalisingly close though! That lume hardly lasts 3 minutes! I think I agree, it's more than the sum of its parts. The crystal is sublime, and the colours accents are delightful without being too sparkly. I went to London to try on the 36mm and it is just too small on my 7.25" wrist, but the 40 is a hair too big.. I'll forgive it! I wonder if they'll consolidate their lines and re-tool for a 38mm in 2019! Slightly wobbly bezel, sketchy lume, a bit too big, underwhelming movement, slightly too big crown.. Perfection! It'll probably be my only watch - I'm looking forward to it! Nice vid - Happy Christmas!
Very nice choice! Stunning looking watch (IMO) I have the Movember version, which I just love. Very similar yours, but without the bronze insert and with white lume markers. Love your reviews as well!
What I love about this video is, you described me to a T when it comes to falling in love pledging your loyalty then off looking for a better brighter watch. It's a sickness isn't it? I gave up looking for the perfect EDC pocketknife (because it doesn't exist) I use to envy people that would/could wear/carry the same watch, knife multitool etc day in day out. I am spoiled and I have choices and options and enough items to wear / carry whatever floats my boat.
Picked up the 42mm new for £950 In new year sale . Quite simply blown way .. fit and finish is perfect , beautiful dial with great AR which means it shines and pops, looks fantastic in low light too which is a plus in Glasgow .. I’ve owned the Tudor bb on two occasions , although a very good watch it wasn’t a keeper for me, I really prefer this so much more ...
Congratulations Jody, another fabulous watch from Oris! I get the (fatal) attraction from the Oris design. Lets keep it a little longer this time shall we! Bye the way, please stick to the T-shirts!
Nice new Oris watch mate and can understand your reasoning to fund the new bronze/ gold hands version, but surely the Zelos is a keeper, I mean just look at it. Anyways have a very Merry Christmas and thanks for all your videos during the year.
Congrats, yet again! I really like the all bronze carl brashear version, but I really wished the case size was smaller.. i believe it's around 43mm. And, it's quite pricey hovering around $3k-4k, i believe. For that, I was happy to fulfill my quest for the best bronze dive watch and the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Bronze 600 Pro did that quite well at a much lower price point.. I had gotten the 43mm, wearable on my 6.875" wrist, but I'm glad, and a little sore, they put out a 38mm version of that model.. sore cause well it came out about 1/2 year later. No big deal.. i did end up flipping the CW anyways.
I was just thinking what if JOMW made a vid with this particular watch. And he did it! Loving your vids this year when compared to last year. Hoping for more great content in the upcoming year. Maybe a Lorier Neptune II? Anyways Happy Holidays to you and to all!
Really nice watch...really loved the retro feel to it...AND the rose gold really works 🤭 and I love dates at the 6!! I’ve always liked this date positioning on the Hamilton 68 🤗😍 cheers for the chuckles and the subliminal (ok not really) red cat suit 😏
I didn't know they made this version. Does indeed look a lot like the 42mm dial married to the 40mm case. I like it but I think I'll hang on to my black Oris 65 40mm. Still thinking about getting an Oris Aquis 39.5 mm
Excellent work! Loved this watch.. I'm as crazy with my fountain pens.. but my new watch fetish is gaining momentum! Best regards from Colorado, US Frank from Boulder
Great video mate! I got into watches about a month ago as I have exhausted my love of 'fragrances', the year before that 'tattoos' and the year before that guitars. My first "proper watch" which I had delivered first week of October 2019 was the Oris Clean Ocean 39mm, absolutely love my watch and I love this new hobby of mine...... This is going to be an expensive one
I’ve had a love for Oris for awhile now. I have a TT1 worldtimer on the way. I’ve notice that a lot a reviews miss to state that Oris does modification to the SW movements. They don’t just stamp the rotors.
Am as bad with the seiko monster, sold my 2nd recently to buy the newest gen 3 Prospex, when I said am keeping them all. Lol.. You made the right choice by flipping the other oris to get that bronze one... It's bang tidy... Stand out watch. .👌👍 great vid Jody. 😉
lol! I do think this one has more of a classic look to it with more than a wiff of vintage Sub. I agree it looks perfect. Nice find... ow to see if it stays. Thank you for another excellent review :)
you should do a review on the seiko snxs79, its similar to the snkl23 but still at production and the price hasn't sky rocket, its a beautiful watch with a beautiful dial, really a bunk for the buck, cheers.
I was thinking about getting this in 2019. Now that you have had it for a while how is the lume treating you? Is it still visible by morning? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work.
Buddy, you're nuts! I can barely bear to part with any of my watches, let alone buy the same one 3x over! But I think this is definitely the best looking of the Oris 65s you've had. Hope this one lasts in your collection lmao
Great video, Jody! One of your comments stood out to me in particular, about the lume. I picked up an Oris Aquis last year. Really nice watch, I wear it all the time. This being said, the lume is only decent, not super - I have other non-dive watches that outperform it on lume. Maybe Oris simply isn’t that strong on its application of lume?
Did you review a Tisell watch, and I think you did, but I can not find it in your massive video archive. could you please post a link to the video if you did? Oris is an interesting brand, they have some nice stuff and some I don't like. I like the one in this video.
Great watch, having the minute markers on the edge instead of the middle of the dial makes the timing bezel a lot more functional in my opinion. Hope you don’t let the Mako go, that is a heck of a watch. Also, am i the only one that finds the hour hand on the 65 a bit...phallic?
Super entertaining video Jody, loved it. Third time's the charm. I think we should start a petition that you need to record a video wearing the Britney Spears suit once you flip this one :) Jokes aside, the bronze 65 is a stunner! Wear it in good health!
Please review the new Oris 65 Bico! Especially interested in bracelet v strap. I’ve got serious fever for that watch - but then again maybe this black bezel version is better.... I need to know and you are one of the few who knows both and can give me the critical info I need!
I have to admit I prefer the Deauville dial over the new one, but the video flashbacks were amazing. I find the bracelet taper to be a bit too much for me, but I have beefy wrists, so I am the outlier there.
Man this is probably my favorite Oris out there. I love that bronze ring on the bezel. Just a fantastic looking watch@!
Just picked mine up today. Love it!
Congratulations on reaching 50,000 subscribers. Well deserved achievement mate. Your no nonsense, down to earth style is a winner. Well done
They really perfected the minute track and date window on this model.
Hahahaha I loved this! Good you flipped the Deauville dial, this one looks SOOOOOO much better! Enjoy it in good health :)
Agreed 👍
Just got mine with the leather strap two days ago for Christmas. Its gorgeous....that bronze bezel and domed crystal! Love it
By far the prettiest. These bronze watches are really growing on me! Great vid as usual
As long as you don't start trying to flip your wife mate, you'll be ok 🤣
I think his wife might prefer to flip him after this haha
Flipping the wife for the younger better looking wife is a good idea.
That 20% weight cut really makes a difference
I really enjoy your sense of humor and creative editing! I do agree that this watch is your best oris 65...
I tried this one one and loved it. It felt perfect on the wrist and looks great too.
I have one Oris (a big crown pointer date) and absolutely love it, so much so I'm looking to get another! My current one is a plexiglass one, but the new ones with sapphire glass and screw down crowns just call me.... Like you Jody, there's just something about them I love.😍 Keep them coming.
This is perfect, the 42 dial is more versatile albeit conservative. Kudos!
Thats a great lookin watch. Please do an update video when the bronze has started to show patina! Im very interested to see what that looks like.
Congrats!

The first Oris 65 was the nicest. On the black dial, the numbers-in-lume-plot markers are stunning.
Truly is an amazing bezel and color combination. Really love it as well, but I still hope to get the green version one day.
I just bought an ORIS Diver 65 in 42MM . I agree, it's a stunner! Daily wear for sure.
Note to self: Jody owns a skin-tight red leather cat-suit
Bearded Lady: you haven’t lived till you’ve been with a bearded lady.
Note to self: I don’t want to live.

No regrets, enjoy it in good health!
New Grail for me!! On a side note you have some of the greenest grass I've seen in quite a while.... you should start a lawn channel as well!
I just got one of these and I'm like OMG, this is even better in person. It's even better on the brown leather strap. The color fits the vibe. I promised myself this would be a weekend watch and I won't wear it at work.
Wear that to work man! I'm holding out on getting mine but when I do It will be in a my daily rotation
Thanks for the review. I really like the look of this one.

Congrats Jody!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
50K subs for Christmas? Well deserved Jody! Keep up the awesome content!
Very nice choice! Stunning looking watch (IMO) I have the Movember version, which I just love. Very similar yours, but without the bronze insert and with white lume markers. Love your reviews as well!
I own the 65green face really love it they're really accurate and looks fantastic
I got this watch after the review of your first 65 you got and I love it.
No problems Jodie! I am glad you love the Bronze Bezel and will wear it all day everyday!
Hey Zane! Thanks for watching! If you decide to flip anything else mate, keep in touch. Jody
Your videos rock, I always enjoy watching.
Bonus points for the ministry of silly walks tshirt 👍👍
What I love about this video is, you described me to a T when it comes to falling in love pledging your loyalty then off looking for a better brighter watch. It's a sickness isn't it? That is a nice watch. The first steel case with a bronze bezel I have ever seen.
Great video and review.
Very nice looking watch Jodi ! Good review! Merry Christmas 🎄 🎁 to All!
Picked up the 42mm new for £950 In new year sale . Quite simply blown way .. fit and finish is perfect , beautiful dial with great AR which means it shines and pops, looks fantastic in low light too which is a plus in Glasgow .. Nice new Oris watch mate and can understand your reasoning to fund the new bronze/ gold hands version, but surely the Zelos is a keeper, I mean just look at it.
Anyways have a very Merry Christmas and thanks for all your videos during the year.
I have the Carl Brashear and the dial is amazing. I was in a dealers the other day looking at these and variants, the video doesn't do them justice.
Merry Christmas thank you Santa Jody 🎅
Picking up mine on Saturday!
Prefer the Deauville myself, but this is still a spectacular bit of kit! Cheers mate 👍👍🎅
It’s the thrill of getting a new watch. Can’t beat it. I have Casio issues. Happy Holidays!!
That one is a stunner, good choice and goodbye Zelos!.
Congrats, yet again! I really like the all bronze carl brashear version, but I really wished the case size was smaller.. i believe it's around 43mm. This one has got me, i do believe i will get one of these
This is the most fun review yet 😂
Dude you better keep this one, it’s freakin gorgeous
Well done on passing 50,000 subscribers
This one looks so much better than the other 2.. watches(?). Nice one.
That's the one to keep, respects from South Africa
Great review and I do love your style!!
I was just thinking what if JOMW made a vid with this particular watch. And he did it! Loving your vids this year when compared to last year. Hoping for more great content in the upcoming year. Maybe a Lorier Neptune II? Anyways Happy Holidays to you and to all!
Definitely the nicest of the 3! I’m seriously considering this as my next watch but I’m torn between this, Aquis 39mm or Sinn 104...
Nice pickup. Better than the other 2 you showed (yes, sell both of them). Let me know when you want to flip this one in the new year......!
Best 65 model out there 👌 it's the one I chose too.
Great video!!! Fun to watch!!!
And the Oris divers are great!!!!
tudor black alternative looks sweet really looks nice.
Great video Jody, I’m on the hunt for exactly that model right now, sold a few off and may just buy new if if comes to that.
LOL!!! Love the video. Merry Christmas, Jody!!
That’s a cracking watch with a proper 6 o’clock date. I don’t fancy bronze watches, but a bronze bezel? Yeah, I like that! Happy Christmas!
beautiful watch. Both a dress and a dive watch making it worth every penny. I think this will be my first serious purchase.....
I didn't know they made this version. Does indeed look a lot like the 42mm dial married to the 40mm case. I like it but I think I'll hang on to my black Oris 65 40mm. Still thinking about getting an Oris Aquis 39.5 mm
Truly a beautiful watch
Great review again Jody! What would be a good SW 200 movement watch then...Value-wise?
This one is a real looker! Balances beautifully with the riveted bracelet. Could it be a Black Bay 58 alternative?
Excellent work! Loved this watch.. I'm as crazy with my fountain pens.. but my new watch fetish is gaining momentum! Best regards from Colorado, US
Frank from Boulder
Great looking watch however will it make the new year! 😊
Great video again as usual
Whishing you a great Xmas and a happy New year 🍻🍻
it is an amazing watch will have to do a review on this on my blog
Stunner .... enjoy that's now a keeper!
Starting to warm to these models, vintage sub looking, might have to try one on, cheers Jody.
Great video mate!

Jody, great decision to flip the others, much nicer looking watch “for now” 😬
Just bought this one! ❤
lol! I do think this one has more of a classic look to it with more than a wiff of vintage Sub. I agree it looks perfect. Nice find... ow to see if it stays. Thank you for another excellent review :)
7:56 Jody: "Clearly this has got a little magic about it".
"Curse" might be the more appropriate word for it LOL!
you should do a review on the seiko snxs79, its similar to the snkl23 but still at production and the price hasn't sky rocket, its a beautiful watch with a beautiful dial, really a bunk for the buck, cheers.
Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
Stunning!
Such a beauty! Are you going to pre order a lorier watch? They also look gorgeous!
Really like this one!
I was thinking about getting this in 2019. Now that you have had it for a while how is the lume treating you? Is it still visible by morning? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work.
Congrats Jody! 👍👍👍🎅🎅🎅
Great buy, I may be adding yet another piece lol . Got a Gorilla watch in for review and tempted to buy it myself.
Buddy, you're nuts! I can barely bear to part with any of my watches, let alone buy the same one 3x over! But I think this is definitely the best looking of the Oris 65s you've had. Hope this one lasts in your collection lmao
like this one much better than your previous 65 , enjoy!

This being said, the lume is only decent, not super - I have other non-dive watches that outperform it on lume. Maybe Oris simply isn’t that strong on its application of lume?
Check out Oris Aquis, they have decent lume. This one is real a letdown.

Also, am i the only one that finds the hour hand on the 65 a bit...phallic?
Lol now I couldn't unsee it. Thanks! 😄
I think it looks a lot better than your previous. The dial looks like a very dark blue.
Did I miss the pricing ? Great video again !!
Super entertaining video Jody, loved it. Third time's the charm. I think we should start a petition that you need to record a video wearing the Britney Spears suit once you flip this one :) Jokes aside, the bronze 65 is a stunner! Wear it in good health!
Completely gorgeous

Jody! Love your channel! What brand are those colourful winders you own??? they look great mate
I have to admit I prefer the Deauville dial over the new one, but the video flashbacks were amazing. I find the bracelet taper to be a bit too much for me, but I have beefy wrists, so I am the outlier there.
