      It's the birthday and anniversary of my ex who took his life five years ago.
      I left him after an extremely hard relationship together, extremely abusive, he left the planet shorty after. He always said if you leave, it will be your fault I leave the planet.
      It's been the hardest experience of my life to fully accept what happened and not hold the guilt that it left me with.
      I feel you sister, much love ❤️ @petercroneofficial

    Thank you for doing this. On a more practical note for this woman - if losing his wife and family were not enough for her husband to confront his addiction, letting him stay wouldn't have made any difference for him.

    No idea why you suddenly popped up in my feed today, but incredibly grateful.
    Possibly the most healing line of rationale I've ever heard: "you couldn't have done anything differently because that's not what happened". As someone who experienced sexual abuse in my teens and has been on a healing and forgiveness journey for the past ten years, this got to the root of my shame and brought forgiveness of self. I went from being the Chatterbox to being silenced. No more. Let the freedom begin. Thanks, Peter.

    A belief is just a thought you keep thinking over and over again -- Joe Dispenza

    • @brushstroke3733
      @brushstroke3733 2 дня назад +1

      Abraham Hicks says that often as well. While there may be a hint of truth in it, it's more than a bit reductionist and it is often untrue.
      For example, imagine someone believes their partner is sexually faithful to them. Then one day they come home from work several hours early and don't call or text ahead of time. They get home and find their partner doing the wild thing with three other people. Does their belief about their partner's sexual fidelity change on the spot, or do they have to practice this new thought a bunch of times before they believe it?
      Dr. Dispenza and Esther Hicks might be teaching us some valuable perspectives, but they're also trying to sell books and tickets to appearances. They preach the "prosperity gospel" because it feels good to people and it sells. Some of it is good stuff, but please use your critical mind when consuming their product.

    • @1990Popeyeify
      @1990Popeyeify 2 дня назад +1

      @@brushstroke3733… so just to clarify. In this hypothetical, the spouse that witnesses the unmentionable, would they repeat this new belief of infidelity over and over again? And would they, simultaneously stop thinking the opposite was true? So then, they would plant a new belief their heart and without the proper healing the old belief would die, replaced by the belief that their spouse is unfaithful.
      The analogy holds up. (Also, i agree to be careful when consuming info from the people mentioned, but ive gained a lot from listening to JD’s stuff)

      @@1990Popeyeify The point was that they changed their belief about their partner's fidelity instantly when they received the right information. Their new belief that their partner was unfaithful wasn't just a thought they kept thinking over and over again. Take it as you will, but for me this is an important point.

    She just wanted to protect the family from survival state , so she just need to love and accept her scared version of herself ,because she is rejecting that version of herself and life is mirroring it to her back ❤
    We should know that when we are in survival mode, our intention is good , just the way we protect maybe needs to be more mature
    So there is no shame and guilt
    There is just lessons that we must learn so we can be in more relaxed state in the future when situation like it happens

    Peter I wanted to thank you, I've many pull backs to my past so not sure which label I'm under ( abandoned, loss, betrayed etc) but listening to all your ipods with various people. I'm understanding how to free myself. I also wanted to say, within the 1st hour of doing a short exercise about feelings - I felt the tightness dissipate within me. Was astonishing to say the least as I actually felt the calmness straightaway. Thank you from my heart for reaching out to us with this technique of understanding how to feel & find the truth.

    But does this make us avoid accountability when we do do things that are bad/ wrong?

    • @FriggaRedSkye
      @FriggaRedSkye 2 дня назад +4

      I'm getting that this is for people who probably have taken accountability for what they have done but are still stuck in "bad" mode. It's really down to each person to face what they've done. Having the programming that you are bad could make it more likely that you do bad things, if you can crack the armour and realise that you're not bad but have acted in error then you can move from a healthier place and be more likely to act in harmony with your true self. I guess you could get people who have that program embedded so deep that they could use something like this as a bypass to doing the real work but I don't get that vibe from this lady.

  • @abcabc9893
    @abcabc9893 12 часов назад

    A waffle of therapeutic words for the sake of it, attempting to emulate empathy. Clumsy and not relating to the woman's emotion at all. This is the problem with these type of self help promoters. Desperately trying to eek out a story.....when a person with vulnerability will hook into any level of attention put their way. To a trained therapist this is a mess, because there is no emotional attunement.
