Bought 2 hoodies. Received them, put one hoodie out with a regular victor trap. The next morning, the hoodie got a rat. The regular victor trap was still set, no rat. I have been trying to get this rat for 2-3 months. Every day the trap are set off, but no rat.
The hoodie worked. You guys are the best.

I followed your instruction on how to exclude them. It worked great for one week. I noticed they bite through the wooden siding, right next to the original entry point. Using metal mesh I excluded them again. This time I was successful. I chek on the exclusions twice a week. The only thing that works is metal mesh. Good video from Sacramento

Love the videos and will watch later tonight. Have the Twins ever dealt with bat infestation? I had the house re-roofed and the people that did it evidently left gaps up in there and we had bats in the attic behind the walls. They managed to get out from behind the walls and there were a few times they got down to the living quarters and I caught them with a fishing net. Fun times. I got rid of them by figuring out where their entry hole was from the guano and put a cage around it where they could get out but not back in and that seemed to do it. Are bats a problem in CA & AZ? Great job on stepping up the production of the videos Twins!

I followed the twins. Did my exclusion work. And for weeks no rats. Rats are back?! They chewed through the metal exclusion!!! So now I understand why the twins down just put down flat metal. They shove a big wad of metal, with the exclusion foam. So I did the same.../ and added Tabasco 🔥to the foam. Did I get that right?

Guys, amazing video. I have a mice problem and have had constant leakage in my apartment building ceiling. The maintenance guys refuse to cover up my stuff or lay down even a drywall dropcloth, leaving my stuff covered in drywall debris when they are done. You and your teammates make it look like a surgical operating theater in terms of the prep work to avoid making a mess.

Would you try dried fig skins in your traps? it's what I use and I'm always catching them. The skins are good because they can be hooked on to things so the rats pull on them. I'm using them under the hoods of cars, I have outside, so exclusion work isn't really possible.

I have been hearing some random activity outside of my bedroom window of late, the first time I heard it I legit thought it was the window cleaner or somebody making an attempt to break into the house. This has happened on multiple occasions recently, then a couple of days ago I heard some commotion, looked outside and saw a rat scurrying across my upstairs bedroom window sill then climbing up further towards the roof. We are 1 of 5 attached houses, I didn't even realise these rodents could climb walls... I am yet to hear of anything inside my home, but they are clearly making their way inside one of the neighbours properties. Not sure what the best course of action is in this situation.
I have been subbed for a while as I find what you do interesting but I never expected rats to be climbing up houses without any trees closeby in order to find entry points. I have a feeling this dates back to a year or so ago when a few of the houses had their roofs replaced, it's the only explanation I can think of as to why they are present.

    • @warpet2011

I’m always amazed that people don’t know that rats and mice can climb. If you are a subscriber to this channel, how do you not know this.

I had a wiring pipe running from the roof to the shed. I put grease on it.
    I've been lucky since.
Also, a couple of years ago, a hare made a burro right where the rats used to always run. Since then I've never seen any rats.
We have baby hares eating in the garden until they get too big to fit through the fence.
I'm wondering if Mommy hare has scared the rats.
The local cats stay away also. They are quite big.
