🎨 Raptor Liner Paint: The Ultimate Protection and Style Upgrade
Raptor Liner is not just your ordinary paint; it's a heavy-duty, versatile coating designed to provide unmatched protection and a sleek finish to any vehicle. Whether you're off-roading through rugged terrains or cruising the streets, Raptor Liner ensures your Humvee stands out while staying shielded from the elements.
    🚧 Step-by-Step Process:
Prep and Clean: The key to a flawless paint job is preparation. We thoroughly cleaned and degreased the Humvee's surface to ensure optimal adhesion.
Sand and Prime: After cleaning, we lightly sanded the surface to create a smooth texture. Then, we applied a high-quality primer to enhance the paint's durability.
Tape and Protect: We carefully taped off areas that we didn't want to paint, such as windows, lights, and handles. Plastic sheeting was used to shield larger portions of the vehicle.
Mix and Apply Raptor Liner: Following the instructions on the Raptor Liner kit, we mixed the components to create the perfect blend. Using a professional-grade spray gun, we evenly applied the Raptor Liner paint, creating a textured and rugged look.
Multiple Coats: For maximum coverage and durability, we applied multiple coats of Raptor Liner, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
Finishing Touches: Once the final coat was applied and fully dried, we removed the tape and plastic sheeting, revealing the stunning transformation.

I’ve done a few cars in raptor liner. Few tips. Skip the raptor gun and get a hvlp gun from harbor freight. Reduce the raptor by 30%. You’ll use substantially less liner and it looks smoother. Still a very flat color but it’s no longer “boogerie”. But seriously it will cut the cost in half.

Quick point of order. Under no circumstances should you sand anything that has been coated with CARC paint without a full respirator setup. A face diaper won't do the trick. Breathing in CARC dust is basically instant cancer. All military Humvees were painted with the stuff and even though it looks like this truck was repainted at some point, it's probably still under there.

I was going to comment on the CARC paint. I'm working on an m927a1. I'm wearing a respirator while cutting on the box because of the CARC. Half of the job is burning off the paint!
