I just had to learn what a decent sugar intake is in comparison to my workouts. Found out FOR ME at the least. If I work all day, drink an electrolyte mix to help me in this heat cause ranch in Texas. It's hot. I eat some fruit throughout the day for natural sugars. I workout after work and after my workout. I eat a King Size candy bar and drink a bottle of water with it.
For dinner it's whatever is clever. (Home cooked. I rarely even go to restaurants) With 2 cans of sodas in one glass.
I have lost 15 lbs so far and turned some fat into what I should be. Muscle.
Am I jacked and shredded? No.
Can I run a mile without dying? Probably not.
Am I finally losing weight after gaining 40 lbs because of clinical depression and a long term injury? Yes. Fuck yes I am.

I'm surprised schools don't teach kids about eating disorders more. we had several lessons on eating disorders, the symptoms of someone who's going through it and stuff. I did a lot of projects on it, even when I was in the 4th grade. Anyway I hope schools start teaching this stuff more
I didn't know what an eating disorder was until I came across this channel. Schools are busy trying to teach 'other' stuff.
i wish they'd teach everyone about eating disorders in the schools i went to- if i'd known what it was and why people develop eating disorders i might not have developed one
In my experience, school didn't teach me anything about eating disorders. The extent of what I was taught was literally just the same 5 videos on nutrition we watched every year. Thankfully my mom recognized this and taught me a lot of what I know, but I could've fallen into so many unhealthy habits without that. Schools really should be teaching more about eating disorders and how unhealthy dieting is

This is exactly why I started going to the gym. I've always been thin but running for 5 mins murdered me, what started as a small jog on the treadmill led me to trying the other equipment since I'll already be there. I'm not ripped or anything but I am feeling a lot better.

About the training videos:
My mom has yoga/exercise videos that don’t have overly happy people. Those people are sweating, in gym uniforms and not anything weird, and they’re not smiling. They actually look pretty serious. They don’t have hip-hop music in the background. The background music is actually pretty nice, and the gym instructor explains things about the body about losing weight and stuff while we exercise so we’re more educated. That’s nice
