Apple recommendation: Ambrosia. Very sweet, crisp, and large. Plus, when my roommates and I were making mead, it was the only variety that didn't create a bitter flavor. Side note: I can't eat Red Delicious anymore because I had a Horticulture professor in college who had actually done professional apple research, and now every time I see Red Delicious I can hear his voice saying "they taste like CARDBOARD"

I would like to recommend opal apples. My mom bought some to taste along with pink lady and jazz apples and they look similar to golden delicious but are more crisp smaller and taste like a sweeter fuji. They have a pretty thin skin and actually pair great with pink lady apples. So there's my two cents that none asked for. Good day ladies, gentlemen, apples and whatever in between.

I hope someday Jaiden gets to go to an apple tasting. In Portland OR, during apple season the nurseries will put on apple tastings where you can go around and try hundreds of kinds of apples! It is literally the coolest thing. Right next to picking your own strawberries in fields with dozens of kinds of strawberries! The ones that are too fragile to ship around to grocery stores are some of THE BEST things I've ever tasted in my life!!!

Made actual friends, judged a Halloween costume contest, traveled to cities I have never seen and mid massage got solicited (dw I was good) all make for good conversation compared to the years I spent indoors isolated by my own sads

I hope someday Jaiden gets to go to an apple tasting. In Portland OR, during apple season the nurseries will put on apple tastings where you can go around and try hundreds of kinds of apples! It is literally the coolest thing. Right next to picking your own strawberries in fields with dozens of kinds of strawberries! The ones that are too fragile to ship around to grocery stores are some of THE BEST things I've ever tasted in my life!!!
