    I just got my Switch. I didn't think I'd want a pro controller, but once I'm done with a docked session of like 2 hours and switch to PS4 to watch Netflix, I'm like "Whoa, a _real_ controller" and realize how cramped the joycons feel, even with the attachment pad thing.
    Honestly, probably my only complaint about the Switch, but the controller design obviously was necessary for a hybrid console.

    1st off I didn't buy this pro controller when I bought my Switch. I immediately bought 2) 8 bitdo Sn30 Pro Plus controllers. They are the best controllers I've ever used besides the PS4 controller. The are a mix of the Super Nintendo dog bone controller and the Playstation. It is a nice combination. They work flawless on all your devices too. The only thing they won't do is wake the Switch from sleep. It has rumble and Gyro motion control too. It feels perfect in your hands. I bought the Switch Pro controller last night. It looks nice but has some major issues for me. I thought it was bigger #1. The d-pad feels really bad having to reach for the center of your controller. I don't think any controller should have the d-pad on the bottom/middle there. You might as well remove the d-pad at that point because it almost becomes unusable. The right analog stick is way too close to Y and B buttons. I was playing Mario Tennis and kept accidentally hit the right analog and it would make the player do a trick shot. You have to time the trick shot not just randomly do it. So this screwed me up about 5 times during the match. The triggers feel horrible. Its hard to tell which ones you are pressing. The analog sticks get sweaty and lose grip. Overall makes your hands feel cramped and I will be returning the Pro controller. 4/10 for me and I'm being generous because I think Nintendo could have done better.

    Idk why it feels so cheap imo. Like when holding it comparing it to ps5 & Xbox controllers it feels just cheap imo idk if it’s weight or what exactly it is but just hate way it feels. It’s best option out the Nintendo controllers just wish it felt more premium in hand.

    I currently own an 8bitdo SN30 Pro which I use for both PC and Switch, and I'm considering getting a pro con this Christmas.
    Some cons in the SN30 Pro that I've seen:
    - the silicon pad under the buttons wear out fast. Haven't reached 2 years yet and my A button already got problems
    - the analog trigger and buttons can be too loud especially for intense games like Genshin Impact. Same goes for the analog sticks when you flick them suddenly.
    Hope you can help me on this. Does the pro con produce noise like what I mentioned? That will help in my decision. Thank you.

    • @thawsmst3138
      @thawsmst3138 4 года назад +1

      @@kxnzo1089 I don't have either of those games (I play mainly Breath of the Wild), but there was a major difference! The battery life is excellent, and takes about 4-6 hours to fully charge once dead. They do have the gyro controls and rumble. Its like a much better made Playstation controller. It feels comfortable in your hands (I have small hands and have no issues reaching what I need to).
      The joycons to me are really bulky/ not very ergonomic and it was hard for me to quickly press the button I needed sometimes. Yes the joycons are certainly better than nothing, but I much prefer the pro controllers.
      I actually bought mine at a discount (cost $15 apiece) from a store called Dirt Cheap lol. One was fine, and the other had joycon drift. I just took it apart and cleaned the joystick, and now its working just fine. So I got 2 brand new controllers for $30 total. It would be worth it to look in stores like that if you're unsure 🤗
