    I have been a practitioner of this Routine at my age of 79 for almost a year now. It has established itself in my Daily mornings at least 5 days per week. You must be determined that these episodes will help your Happiness and physical well being and IT WILL. It has been most profitable for my posture and my respiratory system.     When I started doing the 2nd exercise (upholding the sky) for some reason, I thought to myself... this little lady is smiling and doing what she can to help anyone in the world. Oddly enough I thought about my grandmother and starting crying. What a release. Thank you so much! I'm going to get my wife to do it w me.

    Well I commented on first finding this and said that I would update my thoughts after having practised this for a few days. It's been 10 days...I now don't have to look at the breathing guidance because my body has already worked out when to inhale and exhale...it just seems to happen so organically! I do this sequence before anything else and have found that I don't really want to look at or check my phone or engage in any tech...for some while afterwards!This is a real little gem and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this version. The birdsong is exquisite.🙏🙏💜

    I’ve tried a lot of RUclips videos and realized the instructor has a lot of impact on the vibe . This lady has nothing to prove almost like no ego, so for me this video is so soothing her energy is so calming. This is my favourite Qigong video by far. I love her smile

    I've practiced tai chi chuan and chi gong for over thirty years, and watched innumerable videos of both tai chi and chi gong. It's rare to see someone exude such sincerity and such presence in a video of this type. Just watching her is chi gong. I wish I knew her personally. I imagine she is charming.

    So nice! Been sitting with manic energy for weeks not knowing what to do with myself, can't concentrate, etc.... did this and can't stop smiling. All the excess energy has gone away but I feel alert and focused :)

    I discovered 8 pieces of silk brocade about three months ago & practice daily. I find a reduction in unilateral neck & shoulder pain that are often worse than the migraine they precede, am waking up less stiff. Thank you and God bless.

    This was the first video I learned Qigong from, and still by far the best. I wish they were all like this: teaching slowly, carefully and repeating each move a few times, not just doing it once and "follow along". Kudos for the best Qigong video on RUclips!

    I did tai chi for many years, Yang style and Chen, but somehow I stoped and forgot the movements. I used to love so much and it was very important in my development and health. At this quarantine time I was looking for simple qigong exercices and I found this. I love your smiling face, the sounds of birds, the silence and concentration, the sun at your face. I do it every day with all my presence and I feel my legs stronger, the capacity of my lungs expanding and a state of peace. Thank you so much for being there. Keep safe and healthy :)

    I only began QiGong about 3 weeks ago and I love this practice which is now an integral part of my day. The Crane spreading its wing is the most calming tranquil move I have ever done in any Yoga or other practice

    oh my goodness..... whilst looking for a beginners Qi Gong video I came across this!!!! What a little gem!
    What instantly appeals to me is the fact that there are no spoken words....in fact the birdsong, I think, is a real bonus...it seems to add to the serenity of the exercise and increase the feeling of wellbeing.
    I haven't yet performed the movements.....BUT I just know that I can already sense that this is going to become my regular go-to .
    I'll keep you updated on my progress...and I'll check out your other two videos too.

    I just moved to a new city for work, I know nobody here and the flat doesn't completely feel like home yet. So I've been very anxious and my panic attacks are getting out of hand again so I decided to try this alongside my anxiety medicine since my doctor recommended it. And it has helped a ton.     I've noticed this exercise relieves cough. It's not the first time that it helps me when I'm coughing. This morning I was coughing before and during the exercise. When I finished the cough disappeared.

      The movements in this exercise encourage slow and deep breathing. This way, you gain more oxygen and increase your lung capacity. It is especially helpful in the long run to calm your lungs and eliminates cough due to spasms.

    I've been sick a long time. I'm trying to build back up.. I can really feel these movements. I took a break after 13 minutes.. but my hands are warm. The breathing at the right time the right way is something I'll have to get used to..

      These gentle exercises are helpful to do during convalescence. You are right in taking a break when you feel tired. Deep-breathing is very helpful. It takes time to get used to it. Be patient with yourself but don't give up.

    When I had a minor concussion and was feeling nauseous this past summer, I practiced this routine 2 or 3 times a day (morning, midday, and evening). Nothing else helped, but this did wonders for my pain and equilibrium! In 2 days I was feeling 100% better. Thank you again for this wonderful practice:) Many blessings to you.

      I used to play competitive sports and more intensive work out routines. Ate a lot, but worked out a lot. Now that I am older I find this type of exercise to be mentally and physically superior in many ways unless someone is training for a sport. The breathing, complete motions and relaxing the mind, carry benefits throughout the day.

      @@elmiramuradova561 Because of limited lung capacity, for an in breath I have to do in out in and for an out breath I have to do out in out. I also have to cut down on the number of repetitions but overall I manage to do the routine and I find it calming and centering and feel better mentally and physically after doing it.

    This is one of my favorite Qi Gong videos. I watch it over and over. My wife and I have started doing Qi Gong exercises every day. We were already in Tai Chi classes, but Qi Gong has brought in an added dimension to our daily exercise routine. I guess you can say we are in our "golden years", and it can be difficult to find activities that don't kill us off. Tai Chi and Qi Gong are relaxing, as well as a great way to improve our balance and range of motion. We search the web for favorite exercises and create our on routines to follow here on RUclips.     Last week when I did the warm up exercise rising my hands upwards to my face I could feel a wind blowing in my face. Normally I can feel a small bit of wind in my hand during the practice but this was something new for me. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to practice this beautiful practice, it completes my morning routine.
    I believe if we would have more qigong practitioners in this world it would be a better world to live in, thank you for spreading this knowledge around to the public on RUclips, you’re an angel.

    This form of the eight brocades is very gentle making it very suitable for seniors. The explanations are excellent and the smooth transitions between each brocade makes the whole exercise a moving meditation. Many thanks

    This is a great little gem. In just a few minutes it captures the important elements, and its setting on a beautiful day in a meadow adds to it. Qigong is all about slow, graceful, complete movements and breathing coordinated with each movement. Pay careful attention to the inhale and exhale of each exercise; they work together. I recommend Qigong to singers as a warm-up, but anyone would benefit. It's difficult to describe how it differs from just doing calisthenics (rough, rapid movement and uncoordinated breathing): you will definitely feel that you've had a workout, but you'll feel energized, not exhausted. Both have their place, but this is a clear favorite for me.

    This is much more than simply exercising. Leaves me to wonder why this is not taught in the schools here in the states. This is a science that has evolved into an art. In church, you hear YOUR BODY IS YOUR TEMPLE, but they do not teach you how to take care of your temple. We should have been following suit.
