2023 Ford Maverick Stereo Problem - Easy Fix!

- It didn't take long for my first problem in my 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid. This has the basic Sync 2.5 radio. It's worked fine for the last 5 weeks or so, but today did something weird.
It looks to be an easy fix with a hard reboot. Just hold down the power button and forward button for a few seconds to reboot the stereo. This fixed my problem immediately. My radio is on the most recent version with no updates available.

Can't believe the amount of problems these cars have. Ford has apparently no intention of fixing them either and just changed the entire stereo on the 2025 models.

Gonna try this. My company started using Ford Mavericks for work and I gotta lay down at least two hours of drive time a day. So I need some music to pass the time.
Radio software in these trucks are absolute junk! I've had my fleet vehicle for 2 and 1/2 years and after the seven recalls that have been completed it seems like it gets worse and worse every time. Apparently I reached my factory reset limit on the radio due to Bluetooth losing connection multiple times. This is the only option that worked, thank you!
I just got another two recalls on mine. It's ridiculous. The most recent is for the radio reprogram to keep it from freezing on the backup camera. Glad this hard reboot fixed what you have for now.
Thanks for still helping people. I have a regular gas burner 2024. Based off the comments, seems like a common problem across year model and trim package. It's a Shame Ford leaves it to good hearted guys like you to show us how to put a bandaid on their software glitch. Mine didn't start acting up until it sat in the 92° sun in Tennessee.

Thank you for that information my display freaked out I thought I was going to have to take it into the dealership but it worked and reset everything and it screen is fine now
I thought the same thing at first. Figured the factory amplifier stopped working. I think Ford made it a "feature" for people to bring their car in for service.

Not having this issue in particular, but my stations seem to be coming in poorly, almost like I'm on the border of being out of range of the radio tower.
That's a new one. Sounds like the antenna connection came loose.
I had the same issue with my 2023 xlt . hybrid
It's like they tried to make the Maverick have problems so you would be forced back to the dealership.
And what do you do if you have to do this MULTIPLE times during the day?
Take it to the dealership for warranty
You know what doesn't need rebooting? Chickens....with cameras strapped to them
I've kicked "booted" a chicken before. Does that count?
Chickens with camera's? Arent those just called pigeons?
And if this doesn’t work? Mine went black 2 days ago and hasn’t recovered
If this still doesn't work, you can try disconnecting the 12v battery to do a complete reset.
