I got to Leigong twice, was bugged both times. Would just not open the core. Even after like 6-7 minutes. Also I believe the naninte weapon does not count towards experimental weapons atm.
I was there last night with my wing, core opened every time but we need more firepower, was only able to get it to around 35%... nanite torpedos do count as experimental though
Haven't played elite in years since I hated the Odyssey update. This looks beautiful as always the audio/visual experience in elite is always exquisite. Love to have a go again but the grind i can't put any time into.
oh man.. even while Odyssey wasn't that I expected at first but the later content is *awesome*! The plot moves, new tech, goids war - it's just what I always wanted from the game :] Now it seems we gonna have 4 new ships with other reworks/content. Wouldn't say it's a lot to grind to open new content (nothing comparable with 1st engineers) so for me it's *totally* worth it
between release of odyssey and now i have 2 more kids, real life has started to become a grind now :) i still kept my X52 hotas for some day ...@@Alswulf
while others trying to accomplish achievements in the game - you've scored them in rl! Congrats man! o7 Elite is moving but as always - moving accross the time and slowly :D I bet you'll have your time later and its gonna be awesome vacation ;]
I don't get it, my ship's normal temp is 17 but the moment I get to the titan I'm automatically ganged up on. The titan launches its missiles, scouts and interceptors are everywhere and attacking me. What am I doing wrong????
if you are near the titan's core - yeah, heat raises dramatically. I would recommend to deploy a heat sink when you are approaching the titan and then - use thermal vent beam just shooting the titan so that makes you less noticable for goids
@Alswulf yea on approach my heat at full pips is only 17, never even got to the core because it felt everybody was going after me. But maybe it's because I dont launch a heat sink. I'll have to give it a few tries Also on your AX corvette you use drag drives? Armored power plant or low emissions?
@Alswulf ty, yea i think one problem was I had the wrong beams installed, efficient. So switched that to long range thermal vent and that helped. Deactivating corrosive sinks helps to conserve so once I'm ganged on by missiles it's not a big deal too

is this build worth for normal goid fighting or just for titans :P
if you put few enhanced ax mc - it would be ok for fighting cyclops and basi in case of vette

gausses won't be operable in titan's instances or after Orpheus's emp wave (cause of anti guardian fields)

@Alswulf one wow you use only one corrosive sink and a shield. Interesting build. I love the corvette!
