I want a good AoE Prime, not this ''easy transformation because children like transformers'' s*it. :( Hasbro, please maake a good Optimus Prime WITHOUT THE BACKPACK!
I agree that we needed at least a good, voyager size Prime that would fit in with the rest of the line. But looking at that screen model I honestly don't know how they would've pulled it off without a backpack. That movie Prime has little to no truck parts on him in robot mode. For me, the KO First Edition is the closest we got.

While I agree, keep in mind that we're enjoying a kids product, we are not Hasbro and Takara's primary demographic.
Wonder if Takara will ever consider doing a Masterpiece AOE Optimus Prime. If they did the designers may be able to figure out a way to reduce or even completely hide the backpack

Awesome!!! I love Happy Gilmore!!! I watch it a lot. Dodge ball and Happy Gilmore are two of my go to comedies when I'm just completely bored.
If you can't understand the phrases, They might be cybertronian! Plus, I always loved the look of a small trailer on a truck.

Its funny how this toy has basically the same transformation as the leader class, and yet it is half the size. Man hasbro engineers dropped the ball hard on the aoe toys across the line of deluxe to leader class.

Bert The Stormtrooper been watching you since the beginning, though I only just commented on one of your videos. and your right, the jet pack does help detract from the kibble! I'm going to dish out the cash for this and see if it works with the dotm voyager, might make for a good display next to my voyager shockwave if it works!

+ThePIXALated that was mech alive, mech tech was the gimmick for dotm
+tytytec I liked how the gimmicks were always in the weapons instead of being built into the figure. AOE was awful at that in some cases.
+Studco Studios exactly. When will Hasbro learn that adding on gimmicks to the figure diminishes it's quality. Like how the spring loaded head reveal limits what can be done in the chest area.
+Litebikeman 97 The AOE leader Optimus Prime springs into mind... although some of the figures in the old Prime RID line pulled off some great figures with head reveal features (like Wheeljack or Vehicon)

Bert The Stormtrooper they could have done such a better job. what happened to the complexity of the first 2 bayformers optimus prime toys? those were the real deal. the toys in this line are mostly made for little kids. and even then, the kids today are not all handicapped. they can figure out many things. excepting for some voyagers,this toy line is a wreck.
