Tbf I think Peters theme was done electronically rather than played by an orchestra
Always great to hear the theme, especially live! Although I did wonder why they played the 11th Doctor's theme as opposed to the 12ths.
Divizoro I think it's because 12's opening was electronic and 11's was orchestrated

nah they'll keep it as an 11 thing. just fits better with an orchestra for sure
In the first half of this concert World Enough and Time was shown complete with live orchestra and the Opening and End Titles were orchestrated and accompanied the electronic version as the episode ran. Performing it again for the Q&A second half would have been the third time that evening for the audience of that version and probably not such a strong finish to the event.
The 1 dislike is because Peter Capaldi isn't at the end telling us to subscribe, right?

The best thing is that this isn't the exact version of any of the themes so far and it's, you could say Doctor neutral, it's like the day of the Doctor remix but also like 11's but not exactly like either

Why the 11th Doctor's theme? I'm not complaining, I prefer this one over the 12th Doctor's by far, but it's a bit odd choice.

MAN! That hit all the right notes, literally! Besides the world-class orchestration, I loved the
time-trip through all the vortexes (vortecies?) from all the series' openings and the quick montage of all the Doctor's personae. If anyone out there has never rented (or PURCHASED!) any of the "original" Doctor Who episodes, firstly - SHAME ON YOU!, and secondly - Go do it right now! It informs every bit of the character and is more essential than The Fall of Gallifrey to "who" is Doctor Who. He's frickin' 4000+ years-old for cryin'-out-loud! Get to Know him!
But the creepiest bit of this video was the Cybermen in the audience wandering about. I don't know if i could have sat still through that! lol

So upset we never got that gorgeous middle eight arangement in the show, 7b never had it officially, and the thing that sucks the most is that it sounds cool here, but the fact a proper recording was probably made yet never used in the show is a shame. And if it does exist, it's lost. Some fan recreations are phenomenal, using sections of either this, the rough proms version or the day of the doctor credits version, which let's be real, it's just a drum heavy and melody light version of the 7b theme anyway, so the fans yet again gave us what the show couldn't :/

One of these days for a trailer they'll need to make an "ultra mix" opening staring from one showing all of the doctor as it transitions though their openings and theme songs till it reaches the last only for it to end then start back up again playing the newest them song showing of the new doctor

Perfectly created theme song
Everyone saying its the 11th Doctor's theme, but about ¾ of the way though you can hear 9-10's theme. I think they didn't do the 12th Doctor's theme, because there are more instruments and computer effects (not sure about that one) to achieve his opening theme, compared to the others.
