    I have to subscribe because I've put down a deposit on a Himalayan, but the dealer doesn't have one yet. While I'm waiting, I'm tempted to go for the CF Moto. Can't wait for your final assessment.

      @RetiredAdventureRider ahhh excellent. There is no denying it, it is a great bike. Now it has loosened up it's like a different bike.
      It surprised me just how different actually. In a good way. But did it do enough compared to the CFmoto? 🤷‍♂️
      I'm keeping my cards close to my chest 🤣
      I don't know where you are in the world/country, but if you can get to Smalley Cross near Derby, they are very helpful and willing to let you test the bikes back to back. If you can get there during the weekdays, you can get longer test rides too.
      I believe they are one of the only dealers in the country with a 450MT Demo bike, let alone both bikes to ride back to back. They bought it themselves privately.
      Alternatively, Nathan the post man down in Devon has a whole fleet of A2 bikes, including the CFmoto, himi 450 etc that you can book onto to ride for the day.
      Hope some of that helps 😀

    Hi biker✌️I like your self-irony and the name of the channel tells a lot about that 😂 i like to be just like that as you😊 I’m watching the video right now while I’m having breakfast with my girlfriend (that doesn’t understand a word of English😅) and I think at the end of it you will buy the hima 450. In that case great choice, I bought it 6 months ago and I’m very proud and happy of it. I had a Ducati monster but I don’t regret mi choice, now I can appreciate a new style of riding, more genuine and touristic. The forks and all the cyclist parts of the bike are very good for the price and you can feel it while you ride, sometimes I want more power as I was used to but at the same time I can feel the beauty of riding at 80/90 km per hour enjoying the view and preparing for the next turn 😛have a good Sunday, cheers from Milan 👋

      @falco_88 Hello friend. Thank you for your kind words. It is really apreciated. I just hope I come across as genuine and having fun, because that is all it is about.
      If I can help someone else smile on the journey, then that is a bonus by me 😎
      It's great to hear other owners thoughts on the himalayan. Some people seem to absolutely love it, and others not so much. I have noticed that the ones who tend to love it, have come to it like you from another bike, not the Himalayan 411. Those who tend to be a little unsure about it seem to be previous 411 owners like me 🤣
      There is no denying it, it is a fantastic bike. It really had changed now the engine is run in......but.....did it do enough to beat the CFmoto for me??? 🤷‍♂️
      Find out next week. 😉
      Again thank you for the support. It is genuinely really appreciated.

    I'm surprised you didn't take it off road. It has fantastic suspension and the bike really shines when in the rougher stuff.

    • @anidiotonboard6539
      @anidiotonboard6539  11 дней назад +2

      @jdabel1 oh beleive me I really wanted to, but the dealership have asked that the bikes aren't taken off road due to potential for them being damaged etc, which I understand.
      I've no doubt it's great off road. A few friends have road them off road and have all been really impressed.

      @anidiotonboard6539 I'm very happy with mine. I put some knobbly tyres on and it's a beast off road.

      @jdabel1 fab, it's always great to see current owners perspectives. Did you own a 411 before or come straight to the 450 off something else?

    • @jdabel1
      @jdabel1 11 дней назад +1

      @anidiotonboard6539 I had a Kawasaki KLE500 which was good but aging. This is more comfortable, better om the road and excellent offroad. Plus I like the idea of no plastic fairing which are easily cracked. This is all steel.

    • @anidiotonboard6539
      @anidiotonboard6539  11 дней назад +1

      @jdabel1 ahh interesting. I seem to find that on the whole (not in everycase) alot of people who have come to the 450 from other bikes love it, and those that come to it from the 411 himalayan have really mixed opinions.
      You are right about the plastics etc. That is something I mention in the next video actually, about how the himi feels more robust than the CFmoto.
      Both bikes are great, both have their good bits and bit so good bits, but for me personally, one stood out more than the other. 😉

      Hey Sandy, nice to hewr from you. You'll find out on Saturday @0900 😉
      I really enjoyed both of them to be honest. They both have their merrits in different ways. To be honest, I do regret selling my 411, but hopefully this decision will reinvigorate my love for adventure.
      Im off to the Outer Hebrides solo on Friday. Hopefully be an amazing trip 😌

    I’ve been out on my funduro today after not riding if for a year, cost me £800 3 years ago and boy oh boy did it make me smile, now I thought that for a 26 year old bike that weighs 180kg they got it right back then 😁🍻

    • @anidiotonboard6539
      @anidiotonboard6539  12 дней назад +1

      @markhibberd4563 they sure did. It entered the Dakar rally in 94 I think and won. First and last time though as far as I'm aware 😄 it definitely needs a few more bits and bobs to make it right for me. Taller seat and lifted slightly.
      Also the few bits that need sorting on the engine. Coolant leak, fuel leak and then the fuse popping Saga. But we will get there.
      I'm off to the Outer Hebrides next week. Wish I could take the F650, but sadly not on this occasion.

      @anidiotonboard6539 stick with it Chris. I do wonder if these cheap motorbikes will last as long,I suppose as long as they're looked after then they might. Have a great time away 👍

      @markhibberd4563 I do wonder the same too. With all the fancy doo dads and gizmotry, I imagine there will be a life expectancy for the parts. 20 years maybe? 30 at a push? Who knows, only time will tell. 😎

      Does this mean I have to ride it again then? 😎
      To be fair to it, it wasn't a bad seating position at all. I just didn't feel like I was floating on top of it as a lot of folks have said. It wasn't a bad thing in terms of backside/torso and shoulder position at all. I liked the way I sat on/in it. But yea my knees were quite bent up.

      If u go for the himalayan there are accessories that can help to reduce the weight of the bike down to 164 kgs. There is also an ascerbis tank that can replace the metal tank in himmy which will reduce the weight even more. More mpg and power.
