Yeah Well done guys 👍 Been looking forward to this one 😎 Personally as big guy, I still think these bikes have a place for the more sedate adventurer, someone who perhaps only gets out 3 or 4 times a year to do the odd weekend or week trip… not costly to own and certainly capable of doing the job.. 👍 Country tar and gravel travel will be a pleasure at real world travel pace, they would both actually do well travelling through Africa or other less developed regions of the world where high speed travel is not an option. I am watching this from BC Canada and loving it. There is a big switch to small bikes here in BC. I ride a DR 650 and I am 75 years old and we have four of us that all ride DR650 and the oldest rider is 79 years. We hooked up with young chaps on KTM and after Woods we ended up in the pub for a feed and some drinks. They said we have just been schooled by four old boys on DR 650. We had a good old giggle.
I loved the new format as it was fun and was a good portrayal of a days adventure riding that you would do with your mates. Less technical and spec information and more real world experiences. I’m based in Sydney so I can see you did Jerry’s, Murray’s Run Road and The Watagans so a typical Sydney day out. I’ve got the new 450 Himalayan and it is the best adventure bike I’ve ever owned. Good at everything and an amazing all rounder. Very comfortable and fun to ride as well.
I rode the Himi450 and 411 less than 3 weeks ago in Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh going through gravel, sand and rocks. I was very surprised by its abilities. This review also shows the capabiities of both these bikes in mud and narrow trails. Great way to test these bies and I agree its a better way of reviewing them.
Enjoyed the review. Recently rode the Gun Barrel, GCR. A round trip of 4600 km’s back to Perth. 2 bikes, one was a Himi 450 stock except Tyres and larger screen. The Himi took all in its stride, the Corrugation was relentless on Gun Barrel. Anyone that has driven or ridden Gun barrel understands the conditions. Yes, the stock suspension showed its limits ( most bikes would with OME ) the short side stand was an issue and having a narrow foot made matters worse at times. For the money and a few tweaks the Himi will make a good all round tourer for AUSTRALIA. Yes weight can be an issue at times, however on the Nullarbor with the cross winds the weight will help with not being blown around. RE are onto a winner here, of coarse the Nay Sayers will scoff at these bikes, ( badge snobs ).
Hi guys, that looks like too much fun I think the CF Moto absolutely sounds fantastic but I still like the Himalayan Royal Enfield if I have to go and buy one that’s what I’d buy. I watched a lot of guys and girls riding these across India and no one seem to have too much issues with them. Anyway keep up the good work. I really enjoyed this video. I wish I was there but unfortunately I lost my right leg above the knee and 2018 in a major truck accident, but that’s okay. I can still dream the dream for you guys I also still ride a three wheeler Canam, Ryker, and have lots of fun with it , Cliff from Logan City, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks for a great day out Gents. Always a blast riding with you all. An honest day of adventure that most owners of these bikes might put them through.
Now this is a FANTASTIC view into both these bikes. This was the first video Ive watched on the channel and its ticked every single box. I feel the 'Real world view' is what most of RUclips is lacking nowadays... great to see these guys take em out.
i would have liked to see the CF Moto do the same track as the Himay. The Himay can plow through deep water and keep going, it has the high air intake under the gas tank. Not sure the CF Moto could do the same. Plus the Himay went down hard on its side, and again the CF Moto took the safe route so saved its plastics.
Let's turn the discussion around: if the Himalayan had no longer turned on after ending up in the water, would you have said that it is a bad motorbike, bearing in mind that the CF, on the contrary, did not end up in the water? However, there are several videos on RUclips where the CF "drowned" in a raging river, they pulled it out and it drove off again. Net of "partisanship", I would say that they are two bikes that are equivalent and the difference is only personal taste.
Well in that case the CF Moto plowed through deeper water while it kept going and the Himay went through a shallower part and dropped. Let's face it. At that level it's the rider that makes the difference. If you wanna ride the bikes through saddle high water get a hard enduro. And if you drop the bike, it doesn't matter how high up the air intake is ;)
What a ride! It was like being there yourself. Wonderful! Nugget's a star, but I have to Nosh did well handling the big bike - a cool rider! Thanks Dave!!
Both Nugget and Nosh did really well. That narrow piece of mud that Nosh took on was far more difficult that it looked and the consequences of falling from a big height was real bad.
Both bikes make sense, i everyday practicability. At the end of the day, it always comes back, to which one, puts a smile on your face. Here in the land of Oz, where the budget is tight, you really can't go wrong.
Well done Dave and Clubby, it makes sense this way. It shows the bikes with "normal" riders, that are not professional! Riemann is great, but how many riders can honestly say that they can handle a bike like he does? Almost nobody, whereas most riders can see themselves like your test team. It frankly makes it more approachable!
What are you talking about Nugget wouldst boor Adam for speed , as for reliable smashing out the kays i dont think either of these two would last in general but at Nuggets speed across the country there is no way they would last . .
First off, this was a great review/comparison of these bikes. 1. Both bikes having the same tire. So often I see bikes being tested with trash stock tires. 2. Real world conditions!!! You guys rode on actual trails and on highways like the consumer will. 3. You guys did a back to back test on a loop where each of you gave her a go and documented the results. I love how excited these men get around their bikes. Really goes to show that men are simple creatures and not hard to please. Boys will be boys. Ride safe brothers. Much love from the Philippines.🏍️
If people want to get CF because it has less vibration than a single over the fact the RE is superior is every other regard then go for it. The RE vibration is negligible compared to other, far more expensive “plastic” singles too. In short i’ll enjoy the overall better performing bike on and off-road - the RE Himalayan 450.
Woah, talk about a trial by fire! Aah, so good to see Nugget again! That sun-bleached high vis jacket is legendary and just so Nugget. I liked the format, it was a nice change of pace but I also really appreciate the structured and all-encompassing reviews you do Dave that leave no questions unanswered, so I think a healthy mix of both will be the best.
Like many,I have been waiting for this exact testing.. However I am none the wiser,or any closer to which one to buy. They both did well, and they both look like a shit ton of fun and both under 10k.. I reckon for me it won’t matter which one I get, and I think I will just do a random lottery type of decider, you know, screwed up paper in a hat.. Thanks to all who gave me so much fun and entertainment watching ..Luv’ ya’ work boys..
One of the best real world reviews I have seen. You even had two other bikes I am interested in along for the ride. Thanks for the smiles as I look at the snow outside my window here in Canada. Keep up the great work. You have yourself a new sub. Cheers!
Just watched this on a cold Sunday morning in the UK. Great stuff, I loved this format. Like going out with your mates as a teenager and getting upto trouble.
@ looked it. I’d definitely watch more of this style of ride. Makes me want to get back to the Philippines and my bikes. Just wish we had your riding there.
For me when I watch a review, I firstly relate to the rider/reviewer and base my opinion on how my riding style relates to theirs. Everyone WANTS a winner in a comparison but actually NEEDS opinions from a couple different riders with different 'bends'. One thing I know for sure though is that Nosh can certainly ride!
Such a good video. I’ve got the CF Moto on order but honestly could have easily bought the himi, it was looks and wanted to try the twin that won it for me
22:49 For everyone out there who are beginners and plan on buying the 450MT. I can't stress it enough, it is a HEAVY bike folks, you're gonna drop it!!! I am a owner myself and Nosh is 100% right on this.
I really loved this review. It's much more interesting to see what the bikes can do in the hands of albeit skilled but real world riders. The usual structure of reviews - not MAD tvs particularly - quickly bore me, especially if it is not about a bike that I am absolutely lusting for. These two bikes interest me, but not enough to watch a 45 min video based off of the spec sheet. Thanks again!
Good to see a review that is not some bloke rattling off all the specifics and facts about the bikes because all of that isn’t as important when you’re in the mud, sand and shit. Best review I have seen on these bikes yet!
New to the channel. One of the best motorcycle reviews I have seen and a great review style, very entertaining. Thorough comparison of capabilities and feature in some very challenging settings. Well done guys.
This was brilliant! Me and my 7 year old are HUGE fans of Nugget! But of course, Nugget without Nosh is like steak without potatoes. So yes please, MORE NUGGET and NOSH. You guys are the Hmalayan mountain dream team! Keep the team together! This was terrific! Thank you Dave :)
Have you ridden it? That things pegs and suspension are awful man I hope they revise that bike alot. Engine is a screamer too no comfort in that thing.
Thanks guys, absolutely my favourite bike video ever! As a bigger bloke, I'm seriously interested in buying a 450MT, more so than the Himi, so just had to look, but loved the extra dynamic of the 4 of you just going out and having my idea of fun. So relatable for me, as a similar "mature" Aussie rider, and I actually loved that you mostly included all the colourful language, just so real.
When I was at EC's Crossroads concerts my stage credentials said "No Talent". Good vid Dave and Andrew. Like the new hired guns doing the reviews. That one is pretty crazy and a very good rider. Giant among men, "Marc Travels" is up in Ladakh on his Zero electric bike on vid sequence now. Wild and electric bike that doesn't chock down due to lack of oxygen, hell without electricity thou. Fire up the generator. Interesting watching that bike go with street tires on it. Lot of new pavement since you fellows were up there. Unreal. Beautiful. There were some bikers he met who had bought RE 410 Himalayans used for a $1000 USD and riding them, sell when leave. Good condition workhorses. Not a bad deal. Good to get a take from a fellow out of our circle. One who knows worldwide uses of bikes and understands their markets better than we ever will. We will never consider a 125 a top line machine like many others do. And they prove it in their daily use. Change in the pocket is a hugh factor for that market. Glad the choices are there. Sure there are more coming. Well Dave as they tell us pensioners, the check is in the mail. All good from east Kentucky USA. Much enjoyed vid.
Just great! What a fun watch. And what a super quick comparison video on these two super value bikes as it turns out. LOVE the tracks you guys charged through and with most impressive outcomes. Good video coverage by the way, and what a nice spread of personalities the 4 of you have. Very enjoyable, and meaningful, coverage. Thanks a load.........
I'm very impressed with the performance of these bikes. I know some people (i.e. other youtubers making moto content ) might be scared about really using them. But that is the thing: they look good, but their function fails miserably or they pass. And these bikes really did well. Good marks for the manufacturers. Thanks for your all's hard work. Looked like a load of fun!
I haven’t enjoyed a review this much for a long time. I actually laughed out loud twice it was so good and funny. More like a day out with mates. I love the new format. 😊
This is the best way to review similar capacity + priced bikes...... Give it to normal riders (not Pros) you get the review to which normal people can relate to........... Thanks for the review
Love the format you chose for this comparison. I like the way you guys change up the formats. A good thorough review, an informal shoot-out, trips etc makes your channel one of my absolutely favs since it ticks all the boxes. Oh, by the way, love the banter.
Fun comparison ride! I like the format. Although I view both bikes as travel bikes, go anywhere but not fast off road so comparing lap times is okay against each other but would not be at all right to compare with a dual sport lap time of the same trail. The way I see it now is that there are three rough groups of bikes in the adv category, the first being the big, heavy travel bikes that can go anywhere but are primarily high speed road travel bikes. The second group being the mid weight travel bikes like the Himi and CF 450 MT, and the third group being the dual sport to plated dirt bikes that are light weight and much better off road than any of the others by a large degree, but also much less comfortable on high speed pavement. I used to be in the plated dirt bike group but as I got older I moved into the middle weight travel bike like these two. Most of my riding is alone and at 70 I do not take risks riding faster off road anymore because I get injured much easier and it takes so long to heal.
Oh Boy. What a bunch of nice and completely crazy dudes. You are old enough to be more wise but I wish I could be like you guys in a few years. Best comparison ever. And so nice to watch. Thanks
Love this review, but I also loved the more structured one you did a few weeks ago. I picked up my MT450 shortly after your earlier review and so far I’m in love with it like I haven’t been with any other bike. 1250 km in just over 2 weeks says it all❤
I loved the format, and that should put the wind up the naysayers! Those that think your channel has a bias, because you have the bikes given to you, and say you can't give an honest opinion. And to the people that think the Chinese and Indian bikes are crap. Yeah, I can hear it now. Crap resale value and we don't know how reliable the engines are, blah blah blah. I think if you have that much fun with that much capability, you're on a winner.
Great video as usual, when one of you said they would get the 800 because it's only 10kg more I thought WOW didn't realise that just looked it's 40Kg heavier and 4 thousand UK pounds more 😮😮😮
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV Yeah but lets speak about the elephant in the room , Your Husky is a rip off with China build like reliability. Outside of your subliminal advertising of o how much does it weigh ! Was the Nuggster off on the 10kg diff for the 800
@@motozz8258 Nothing has failed on my 501, stop talking nonsense. Have you ridden one? Do you own one? As for Nugget's estimation for the new one, he may not be too far off.
Love the chemistry between these guys, reminds me of old episodes of Top Gear ---- + I never new Aussies had such great sense of humour 😅 (and they manage to do it without swearing, which is a feat in on itself) ----- Would love to see all these guys take a multi day trip together. I can't even imagine all the funny jokes and friendly banter they would have on a long trip. Heck,i'd pay money to watch that😄 - A.
A brilliant episode! All you fellows are accomplished riders but not professional racers so we mere mortals can relate to what you're able to do with these rigs. Appreciate the banter and joking among mates.
What a great real world test for both of these machines! I haven't ridden the bikes but I had 2 students turn up for a course (I'm a motorbike instructor) the other day on each of these so I got to sit on their bikes. Just that short sit, and watching the guys ride around a tight course of cones in the car park and on the road, made me want the CFMoto more than the Himalayan. I'm wondering, would it be worth it for me to swap my ever reliable DRZ for a CF just as it has more road capabilities? I do have a V-Strom for the road, but maybe the CF is of a bike a bike that will do both disciplines in one bike? Hmm. Love the format of the video by the way. Real world stuff!
Hold that thought the KTM390 and Beemer 450 are coming. I suspect about 2 K more but certainly worth a look. As for right now, the Himi does it for me. Have a look at the outback ride as to why.
Great format. Great camaraderie. Im a 411 owner but i think you get more bang for your buck with the CF Moto ie folding levers adjust windscreen better dash and easier air filter access. Cant go wrong with either though.
Nah I'd argue that the himi is made of metal, and that is far more valuable, especially for an ADV. The Himalayan has the potential to be your reliable pal, in a way the CF MOTO can never be. The CF is a better bike tbh, but Himalayan to me is the one with the better and reliable build.
@adityan3208 the CFMOTO 450MT motor is in 3 other models as well (Naked, Sport, & Cruiser). I feel that the ground up build of the 450MT is pretty legit.
@@thehoelzels6316 yeah I'm not knocking on their reliability, I just mean that if you're into hard-core ADV things then it's better to have a bike built with metal. I am not seeing people throw around the CF as much as they do the himmy. And the himmy is taking the beatings up just fine
I think both bikes are capable of providing days of pure fun for their owners and in reality they are closely matched. Ultimately you will make your decision on aesthetics. I chose a Himalayan, primarily for green laning and possible runs around the TET, it gives me the look of a dual sport and a rawness similar to the old DT250 I rode as a 17 year old. The MT looks as it is designed to appeal to the adv rider who may want to tour and that is fine if that is the look you want. I also love Clubbys CRF, I had the 250 version when I returned to biking in 2020 and I would likely still have it if a scumbag had not stolen it. I love these sort of rides that you all do, the skill set is amazing, I am always in awe and kick myself for staying off bikes for so long
I’ve been watching your channel for a couple of months now, and it totally helped me to decide which one to get, CF450 MT, great reviews! Greetings from Mexico.
Guys I already love how you do your reviews but, this is another level of excitement for me. This is how I test motorcycles this is exactly how I come up with my opinions. I fucking loved this video especially because we got Nugget back. Rock on the only thing I will say is I wouldve taken my Africa twin in there with you and I wouldn't have had to camp I trust that bike with my life.
Absolutely Loved this video. Truly enjoyed the format as I felt like I was on the trip with you all from start to finish. Definitely liked the group of four approach with 2 everyday riders and maybe would have liked the two “Moto Journs” to share their opinions to wrap it up. GREAT VIDEO! Cheers from New York.
this format is great! the comments were fair and the aproach is grat, tar, dirt and enduro, cover it all. Expect to see other models going through the same drill❤
Dave, this was a hoot. This new style of grit off roading was a winner for me so just mix ya two styles of reviews and keep moving forward old boy...... Ill take the CF Moto over the Himalayan any day 👍
I like the fact that you just showed a days ride in the bush on these bikes withthe kind of obstacles that you may face, if you have set your sights on getting somewhere and all you have is 1 sunday a month to get out so you have to face what ever weather issues WILL araise. And im now realising my 16 year old son and myself can get adventure bikes brand new and under 20k for 2, looks like father and son time incoming.
Nugget is my spirit animal. Loved the way you have approached this bikes. Would love to see the long term videos about this bikes. My main concern is reliability, dealership support and availability of the parts.
This is a great format!!! The only thing more that I wanted was the actual height, inseam, and weight of each rider. It's much more engaging to watch people struggle with realistic situations. Having the riders swap off and each give a gut opinion is very informative.
Definitely need to repeat this test with the same bikes and add the new KTM 390 adventure to the mix, best comparison video, style and format I've seen yet! I really enjoyed it. Also more rumors floating around about an Aprilia Tuareg 457....
Biggest difference I fear between a Tuareg 457 and even the new 390 Adventure compared to these bikes will be price...Aprilia RS457 is already 12k in Aus so I imagine the Tuareg will be more than that which is a big premium and kinda defeats the purpose of budget adventure like these two. I'll be surprised if the new 390 is under 11k as well
I liked the fact that you guys rode the sh!t out of the. Actually putting them thru their paces. Also the fact that you guys are my age and shows they are still manageable and capable. Thank you for the raw informative review and the banter was great and real
the format makes good sense! maybe nosh and nugget should switch up through the mudpool crossings too and we can perhaps see better comparative comments from nosh about the himalayan.
The ergos of the CFMoto suit me better and I was just more comfortable on the dirt on the CFMoto. Both bikes can do similar routes and most likely owners will tweak each bike to suit them. Great time for the Adv bike market and riders all over.
Good format, good useful reviews. I also really liked the fact you pushed the bikes beyond their design purpose too as so many of us have speared off down a track we didn't know and went "uh oh..." too far in then had to recover. Its not fair of me but I would love to have seen a comparison time for the Little Red Rooster and the Husky just out of curiosity; but lets face it, that's not the point.
I was planning to do that, but it just got too complicated, but still possible. It's going to get tricky when we get our hands on the KTM390 early next year.
Thanks fellas , loved the vid. I am in the market for a touring under 10k and have decided it's between the hima and CF. your vid was very entertaining and not to mention a lot of info on the actual ride of both bikes. definitely heading over to your channel and subscribing .

In short i’ll enjoy the overall better performing bike on and off-road - the RE Himalayan 450.
@@thanosa2206 I prefer a bit of vibes compared to Chinese spyware
So whats metal on the Enfield that’s plastic on the 450mt?
Woah, talk about a trial by fire! Aah, so good to see Nugget again! That sun-bleached high vis jacket is legendary and just so Nugget.
I liked the format, it was a nice change of pace but I also really appreciate the structured and all-encompassing reviews you do Dave that leave no questions unanswered, so I think a healthy mix of both will be the best.
We have the bikes long term, that is coming.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV Can't wait! 👍
I'm glad you found it entertaining. They are both amazing bikes.
One of the best real world reviews I have seen. You even had two other bikes I am interested in along for the ride. Thanks for the smiles as I look at the snow outside my window here in Canada. Keep up the great work. You have yourself a new sub. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it! Keep rugged up! Merry Xmas.
Nuggets gonna score a sunsilk deal if he keeps putting that hair do on screen!! Great vid.
Agree :)

Just watched this on a cold Sunday morning in the UK. Great stuff, I loved this format. Like going out with your mates as a teenager and getting upto trouble.
Thanks for the kind words. It was fun to make.
@ looked it. I’d definitely watch more of this style of ride. Makes me want to get back to the Philippines and my bikes. Just wish we had your riding there.
Love it!! Thanks chaps, I'm really happy with my Himalayan 450, and its been a great friend to introduce me to the TET in Sweden.
Excellent. A great bike.
Nuggets back! 😂 Hell yeah!
Great fun to have him back.
@@nfi2799 He certainly can!
Such a good video. I’ve got the CF Moto on order but honestly could have easily bought the himi, it was looks and wanted to try the twin that won it for me
Soo close aren't they
Sorry, I forgot! Loved seeing Nugget again. Loved him dropping the Himi even more!
Yeah I did like that bit. Particularly after he whopped me on the time trial.
Good format Dave!
Thanks
22:49 For everyone out there who are beginners and plan on buying the 450MT. I can't stress it enough, it is a HEAVY bike folks, you're gonna drop it!!! I am a owner myself and Nosh is 100% right on this.
Who cares if they drop it. Keep within your limits. Ride with mates. All good.
More Nugget. And more group rides. The woody woodwood tours were the best yet.
Nugget and I are riding with Woody and Ellyse in January in the Victorian High Country. Really looking forward to that.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV yes! I can't wait to see that!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good to see a review that is not some bloke rattling off all the specifics and facts about the bikes because all of that isn’t as important when you’re in the mud, sand and shit. Best review I have seen on these bikes yet!
We tried to focus on the real world experience!
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV and made it entertaining as well
The Himi handled the jump much better.
Nugget is the better rider I think 😊
@@simonjones2645 and nugget is probably lighter than nosh

That's why I showed the slo mo comparison
New to the channel. One of the best motorcycle reviews I have seen and a great review style, very entertaining. Thorough comparison of capabilities and feature in some very challenging settings. Well done guys.
Thanks! We appreciate the feedback, we try to make these informative and entertaining!
Great honest reviews of each sub 10K bikes from semi retired gents. Well done & grest fun.
Thanks mate. We do our best but I don't know if Nugget, Nosh and Clubby would see themselves as semi retired gents. :)
Thanks! We appreciate the support!
Loved this gents. Soon the new ktm 390 adv will join this club.
Have you ridden it? That things pegs and suspension are awful man I hope they revise that bike alot. Engine is a screamer too no comfort in that thing.
Hopefully. We are talking to KTM
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Sam.
Thank you.
Great fun, but proved the point. These bikes are great value.
I haven’t enjoyed a review this much for a long time. I actually laughed out loud twice it was so good and funny. More like a day out with mates. I love the new format. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is the best way to review similar capacity + priced bikes...... Give it to normal riders (not Pros) you get the review to which normal people can relate to........... Thanks for the review
Well said
I really enjoyed that, Dave. I love the format. It's good information chock-full of fun! Proper adventure.
Glad you liked it.
Himi for me...all day!
OK!
Love the format you chose for this comparison. I like the way you guys change up the formats. A good thorough review, an informal shoot-out, trips etc makes your channel one of my absolutely favs since it ticks all the boxes. Oh, by the way, love the banter.
I try to mix it up.
I think you are right. They are very different bikes but it was fun to compare them in that format.
Oh Boy. What a bunch of nice and completely crazy dudes. You are old enough to be more wise but I wish I could be like you guys in a few years. Best comparison ever. And so nice to watch. Thanks
Thanks for watching
Love this review, but I also loved the more structured one you did a few weeks ago. I picked up my MT450 shortly after your earlier review and so far I’m in love with it like I haven’t been with any other bike. 1250 km in just over 2 weeks says it all❤
I will be doing a similar review on the Himi shortly.
It's super fun to watch. It always feels like I'm there with you guys. I want to come and ride around Oz someday. Hi from Atlantic Canada.
Thanks mate.
Thanks, we try to give the bikes a proper workout!
Great video as usual, when one of you said they would get the 800 because it's only 10kg more I thought WOW didn't realise that just looked it's 40Kg heavier and 4 thousand UK pounds more 😮😮😮
My Husky that I was riding was 141 Kg fuel full. The cfmoto and Himi are 190 kg!

This video yous did made me feel like I was there, 10/10 . Himmy 450 and cfmoto 800mt owner
Bloody excellent.
Wendy and I love this format.
And she was pleased to meet such note-worthy celebrities at Jerry’s last Saturday.
Hi Wendy. Unfortunately you didn't make the edit. I just couldn't make it fit. See you up there again soon and we'll try again.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV ha! Wendy didn’t expect to star in your show. But she says thanks anyway.
Great review, just like many others. What makes is special is Nugget is back. Welcome back Nuggs...we missed you.
He's been a great part of the team. Great to see him back.
Great format. Great camaraderie. Im a 411 owner but i think you get more bang for your buck with the CF Moto ie folding levers adjust windscreen better dash and easier air filter access. Cant go wrong with either though.
Thanks! It's good to hear from owners.
I love these sort of rides that you all do, the skill set is amazing, I am always in awe and kick myself for staying off bikes for so long
Aesthetics are completely different but the capability of both bikes is very close.
I’ve been watching your channel for a couple of months now, and it totally helped me to decide which one to get, CF450 MT, great reviews!
Greetings from Mexico.
Glad we could help!
I'd like to see an AT in there with my slomo camera

It’s a good time to be a rider!
What a great review! Please keep this format!
We'll do our best!
Glad you enjoyed it! I agree, the four of us together just made the video more entertaining and engaging.
this format is great! the comments were fair and the aproach is grat, tar, dirt and enduro, cover it all. Expect to see other models going through the same drill❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Everyone needs a Nugget in their life. Great times. 👌
I don't :)
Dave, this was a hoot. This new style of grit off roading was a winner for me so just mix ya two styles of reviews and keep moving forward old boy...... Ill take the CF Moto over the Himalayan any day 👍
Thanks
I actually like your solo ride and review and where you dig into more details, but this was great and appreciate the content, well done!
I'm still going to do that, just waiting on some accessories to come for the Himi. I really need an off road bashplate.
Best comparison ever! Very well played boys! Enjoyed it really!
Thank you
I like the fact that you just showed a days ride in the bush on these bikes withthe kind of obstacles that you may face, if you have set your sights on getting somewhere and all you have is 1 sunday a month to get out so you have to face what ever weather issues WILL araise. And im now realising my 16 year old son and myself can get adventure bikes brand new and under 20k for 2, looks like father and son time incoming.
Yeah, that's the way.
First time viewer and I really did not expect that. Great job.
Lots to see on MADTV. Movie length adventures from all over the world. bike reviews and bike builds .
Nugget is my spirit animal.
Loved the way you have approached this bikes. Would love to see the long term videos about this bikes. My main concern is reliability, dealership support and availability of the parts.
All four bikes are long termers, so you'll get to see them out and about on a number of videos.
Nugget is straight out of Mad max💯
He was an Extra on the set.
This is a great format!!! The only thing more that I wanted was the actual height, inseam, and weight of each rider. It's much more engaging to watch people struggle with realistic situations. Having the riders swap off and each give a gut opinion is very informative.
maybe next time.
Love this style of presentation, way more fun 😊
Thanks
Loved this format. Do one of these once in a while.
Agreed
Great video! Loved the end comments!
Thanks
Definitely need to repeat this test with the same bikes and add the new KTM 390 adventure to the mix, best comparison video, style and format I've seen yet! I really enjoyed it. Also more rumors floating around about an Aprilia Tuareg 457....
That’s a great idea. We will see what we can do.
I'll be surprised if the new 390 is under 11k as well
Absolutely loved this. Properly had me laughing out loud at times. Well done guys 👍
Glad it was entertaining
I liked the fact that you guys rode the sh!t out of the. Actually putting them thru their paces. Also the fact that you guys are my age and shows they are still manageable and capable. Thank you for the raw informative review and the banter was great and real
Thank you.
the format makes good sense! maybe nosh and nugget should switch up through the mudpool crossings too and we can perhaps see better comparative comments from nosh about the himalayan.
The ergos of the CFMoto suit me better and I was just more comfortable on the dirt on the CFMoto. Both bikes can do similar routes and most likely owners will tweak each bike to suit them. Great time for the Adv bike market and riders all over.
Anything is possible, we have the bikes long term.
That himi suits The Nug
It does.
