Not hating on your build. I love hondas I drive a 9th gen si myself. But wouldn't the heat of the exhaust since its so close be counteractive to the cold air intake.
It's just a fabricated short ram intake, not a cold air intake. But the hot air from the exhaust should go up just like a fire or a hot air balloon. Its also pointed up so he doesn't really need to worry about it that much. Especially when he's moving, all the air is getting pushed back and not straight down. The intake should be fine, but it definitely would be better if the hood exit header would be facing the other way or if he ran an actual cold air intake or itb's. From what i seen most hood exit headers face that way since there's more room and it looks cool lol
Juan Martinez with the hood on its actually pretty effective. it keeps all the heat from the intake. still wish he would get on it though
